# cristydragan : So, after driving around the city, i got a call from a friend who works at Vstanced Garage, asking me to drop by, so he can see my car.

Yeah, i forgot to say that while i went to Japan to pick some parts for customers and our personal project cars, JC kept the shop open so he and our employees/collaborators are still there and up to serve you. ((OOC: No pictures of the S13 damage, I have had to rebuild my game once more))
Almost everything that could have gone wrong with the Silvia did, I am keeping the car, but it will be a side project. For the time being, I need to do one of these two things.
-Find a new touge/daily car
OR...
-Find a new full touge car, AND a normal car
Since the S13 was my only car, I could never really modify it, because like I said, it was my only car.
So, I am heading into the city tomorrow to try and find the new car(s)

Went over to Luke's garage (he moved into a larger 2-garage space on the same lot, which is good - less cramped!) because he finally tracked down some Nismo side skirts for his R33. We had a standing arrangement that, if he ever found any, I could try them on my car before he painted and installed them permanently. So I showed up.

(Yeah. More space.)

Took off the Top Secret side skirts...

...which took me some time.

Then bolted on the unpainted Nismo pieces. I liked them, but, I liked the aggressive look of the Top Secret side skirts better - maybe if I had the Nismo skirts when I first had the car, and before the fender flares that now define the car's character, I'd have gone for the Nismo skirts. But the Top Secret skirts are going to stay on there.

So I took them off carefully (they were still Luke's after all), said thanks to him, and headed out. I was gone before he finished with them, but, the new skirts will show up on his car if it appears in any more of my pictures. He said he was planning to throw out the cheap JUN replicas - they were doing funny things to the air flow at high speeds.

I like the look of the Nismo skirts but I do agree with you on the more aggressive look. Definitely gives the car its character.

So, after about an hour of debating what to do as a result of the completely ruined S13, I decided that I should browse Gunma's classifieds. Old touge cars pop up every once and a while, and suprisngly, a listing was just put up for this thing.

I called the seller to tell him that I am interested, and that I will come see the car tomorrow.

It is an S14 with a Navan bodykit and frontal tube framing. It used to be powered by an SR20DET, but it was allegedly swapped into another chassis for reasons which I am not aware.

That looks nice man! hopefully you're able to purchase it. If you ever need help with anything I'm always down to work on a silvia haha.
Also I found a new daily! Cost me a pretty penny but I'm really happy with it and I don't think I've seen anything like it before.

I am currently messaging back and forth with the seller, he seems like a pretty cool guy. I asked for a picture of the tube frame, and he delivered.

This pictures was from just after he had pulled the motor, and put the skidplate back on.

Reminds me of my old tube framed S14. Got so lucky finding it while out driving haha, kinda bummed I didn't keep it that long. I have some D-max stuff along with some other fenders and skirts i'd sell you real cheap if you're interested. Pretty sure I've got a Kouki hood and set of lights at my buddies shop too.

Glad you think so! I think I chose wisely, too.

RB26 24U (N1/Nür) block bored out to 87mm, Brian Crower "RB29" 79mm stroke crank, 2817cc displacement. R34 gearbox with reinforced gears. Twin upgraded turbos (HKS brand, don't remember the model numbers but they're tightly packed together in there). 900 wheel horsepower on highest tune, which is rarely what I run, because the car is a little tricky to handle like that. Would have installed HKS V-Cam, but I didn't go for it when I built the motor up - and that will be my next mod.

Just got to some deep work on the Toyota GT86, who said it isn't possible to go dirt nasty low? My first test went awful, the car wouldn't go all the way down and the wheels sat and rubbed on the fender and part of the chassis, so I had to do another lift and now its mint, the wheels are looking awful and I'm in need of some 18's, huge wheel gap and a set of spacers! Although the car is still looking mint I hope I can get a respray done by next week, the green isn't cutting it for me. Any recommendations?

Enough complaining, the job was done enjoy. Also got pulled over by the opps and get off the hook for free, I was going 52 in a 35, big mistake! XD

@Harrison- Nice R33 my dude, keep up the work!

@TBG- Congrats on the buy! Looks mint!

Hi BB. Actually, if you are still in Japan, i kind of need some front and rear overfenders for my AE86. If you can find any, please bring them to me. Maybe they'll be cheaper than here.

Big Update

So the other day I was installing a D-Max roof spoiler and fabricating a rollcage to put in the Silva because I plan on drifting it and I got a call from a friend asking if he could buy my Kouki front end of me, which at first I didn't want to but we came to the agreement on swapping his Zenki front end w/ R33 GTR front bumper, super wide front quarter panels, D-Max hood, Super made skirts and lights/grill for my Kouki Bumper, D-Max Hood, Vertex quarter panels, Kouki skirts as well as lights/grill. Considering I was planning on getting a kit for it I decided to accept his offer which I think looks dope!

Had a couple problems with the wheel setup not having enough stretch on the tyres after I put in new spacers so I had to go to my local shop here in Kōfu, Yamanashi Prefecture. So I got that sorted with the new set up being F: 18x10J with 235/35 Dunlop Direzza ZII and R: 18x12J with 275/35 Dunlop Direzza ZII. Even with more stretch the rear fitment is tight but I do love it!

Also had trouble with police because I haven't been running a plate on the front so I stuck a plate on to keep them happy but I think it may fall off as it seems a cable tie has already broken in just 2 days. So ill see what happens and decide if I want to mount it properly or just leave it like it is here.

There is also a meet tonight at the shop so Ill be going down and grabbing some photos to show you guys some of the local rides. And Ill be heading up to Nikko sometime soon!

Nice ride man. I really like what you did with it. Looks much better now. :D

Added 21 minutes later:

Update on the AE86.

Bob called me last night saying that he managed to get me some brembo 278mm discs and 4 pistons calipers for the car. And this morning this was the first thing to do on my list.

The Brembo kit fits perfectly.

In the afternoon, there will be a auto trade in Valo, so i will go and have a look, maybe i will find a good deal on car parts. Some rims, and maybe interior stuff. I will keep you posted. Also, feel free to check this trade out, i heard it will be mainly for japanese cars, and last year they had good deals for parts. It's going to take place next to that big building site, in the industrial area.

Alright, the cargo plane has been filled and you're parts are there too, JC told me you prepaid an hypothetical value but apparently it's going to be a little more than what he told you, finding those parts in such a small time(barely 3h) has been a mess, those i found were a little overpriced but was either those or none.
Dont worry anyways, it's just about 50 bucks + shipping.

I'll be inside my plane in 20', i and the cargo plane containing parts will be back in UK in about 8h so i guess all the stuff will be delivered at our shop by tomorrow at about midday GMT. :)

A pic i took when i was coming back from picking those parts for you:

Well, i am really amazed you could find them. And in so short time. Here they go double the price. I will wait till tomorrow, and check at the shop.
Now i am trying to secure a deal on some rims, I am at the market. Found some parts for the AE86...brand new LED fog lights, front splitter and some stuff. I think the front splitter will go perfectly with the overfenders from Big Boss.

I managed to get my hand on some parts at the local car market.
Front lip, LED fog lights and new interior carpets. YEY!

Also, the guy i bought this from, is a real AE86 enthusiast, and he asked me to join his AE86 club. I wanted to say no, cause i don't have time for meetings and stuff, but he gave me this awesome windshield decal and dashboard sticker and bought me in. :D

Tomorrow i will have new wheels delivered to me, and i can't wait for them. I hope they fit nicely, because i only saw them in somme photos...

Another package has arrived for me: this time it was the wheels. I'll have to find some other tyres though, because these are a little too big, they are almost rubbing the fender.

^ An Evo 6 with a rb26... interesting. Looks good but it would be better with a wing.
And i hope you have stiff suspension on the bmw, because those rims are quite big, be careful not to rub your fenders.

they are fully adjustable coil overs so i have maximum stiffness in the front and the rear is just a tad off max and clears fine as for the evo yeah its only been in my hands for about a week hence all the work i want done and the best bit about rb is its still awd

Why not a 6G72 from a 3000GT? (Other than the fact that there's no model and so you'd have to use the Devil's V6, which I know is kind of ugly.)

the Sil80 has gotten some love - picked up a set of rare Garson Deep Racing Ryugis for $2500. 18x10j -5 offset in the front and 18x10.5j -8 offset rear. Super tight fitment. I love it.

I'm missing a pair of center caps though so I will hunt Yahoo Auctions JP for a set.

Also peeped a Rocket Bunny ducktail, but not sure if I want to run it yet. (Main reason is I can't paint it, if anyone could help I'd be grateful).

I've also sold the Mark II for $6000 to a Japanese guy visiting Valo - super high price considering the condition of the car. But hey, someday I'll own a JZX again. Looking at a car recently landed from the JP auctions with ThatBoostedGuy and Conkaa tomorrow. Will give details tomorrow.

A mate from work has a set of 2 Garson Deep Racing Ryugis 18x10's that have the center caps? He is selling them cheap due to the lips being in poor condition and not having a full set? I think he said he was after $750.

Also, the rims arrived this morning, i will put them on later today, after i mount this fenders. I opted for a set of 16'' AG Forged F110, with 215/40/R16 tyres. Can't wait to see them on.

Ehm, so I kinda got rid of the Galant, it was just a money-pit, I fixed the rear shocks and put all around coilovers but then it blew a headgasket...and after that the alternator broke...and I just couldn't bother and sold it.

Anyway, does anyone have ANY car for sale? I really need something to get me aroundm, RIP the Asstra :(

Its been a quick minute since I've posted here. The Camino was done ages ago so here are some pictures.

The Camino was one of the most fun vehicles I've ever owned, but it took me away from what I love most. Japanese Automotive. Even though having so much torque is extremely fun, and peeling out of any parking lot with the roar of a V8, annihilating everyone's eardrums. I miss the Japan scene, so I'm coming back with something I still haven't had an experience with. Most likely a Rotary. The Camino is up for grabs if anyone has an interest in it.

# Bigg Boss93 : No problem, i'm always happy when one of my customers comes in the shop with a big smile and goes away with a even bigger one. :)

Anyways, my dude from the US has arrived this morning at 7am(GMT) so i left him sleeping for a while since he came from -7h timezone (MST).
Hopefully he'll be fresh and up to help me in few hours, in the meantime i'll start cleaning the workshop so that we can focus on the car.
Yooooo! I'm jet-lagged as hell, but, ready to work! I'm basically going to be running on caffeine, though, so don't get too pissed if I drop something or whatever. :P

Glad to be here. Always wanted to go and see the world more, you know?
