Hi. I accidentally found some cool bumpers for my Prius. Of course, I bought the kit & installed it. I still haven't found good overfenders, so I might need to fabricate them myself. Fitment will be aggressive, but not a big angle of camber to fit the high looking of the car.

So here's my new Daily.
It's a 2007(?) Mazda Speed 3 with Skunk shocks & H&R ultra low springs. Not sure what wheels are on it but I plan on changing them.
Interior is mainly stock minus an EVO steering wheel

Pretty simple right?
That's what I thought until I saw the intercooler poking out behind the bumper.
"Boosted?" I thought to myself.

I got the owner at the time to pop the hood so I could check out what was underneath.
I was blown away!
An EVO 6 4G63 was swapped into it!

I'd never seen that swap done before and Just had to have it for its uniqueness.
Not too happy about the price I paid for it, but it's not that big of a deal, especially for something i've never seen on the streets of valo.

@marcus: Sell me that ducktail!! and like I told TBG, I have tons of s14 parts from my old one if you're interested in anything.

7pm/1:30am... wow. We've been working for so long that i still hear ratchets, grinders and welders sounds. Holy crap.

I know Harrison from quite a lot of time now, i've seen his works in pics and i knew he were a real professionist, but i swear i didnt expect him to be able to work at our rhythms flawlessly.

On this project was involved the whole garage(JC, Franco, Joe, Frenki, Remco, Jaz and me) plus Harry. Basically we were open this morning and afternoon(down to 3pm) for public(mainly had to deliver some parts to customers) and then closed so we could focus on the 127.

First we took out all the front end parts(in order to not break anything) and the old engine and transmission, it wasnt too bad honestly, we rolled it on the dyno(engine only) and the result was 140hp at flywheel.

But well, you know me, i'm not exactly what you would define normal. I went to Japan specifically to see and buy this engine, a fully built K20A stroked to 2.2 with an impressive power output of 250hp and a complete 6 speed transmission, it was a good deal, wouldnt have been able to buy something like that locally.

And yep, you understood correctly. That's almost 80% more than the old engine, which had already ported at about 90% power more than its stock form(75hp) meaning a total power increase of about 230%. :D

We knew we couldnt keep the stock running gear under this thingo, it would've been too dangerous and honestly i dont like that my things fall apart while running on them. So we put a full 595 abarth racing running gear, we used all race parts including a full set of AP racing big brakes and some new Fatlace 16" wheels to top this wonderful cake.

It isnt obviously finished, we're going to work on it tomorrow and try to take it as close as done as possible. It still needs proper interiors and some other small details.

I am still in disbelief of how we managed to do all this in such a short time. Anyways we're just back from a ride in the highway, gonna have a beer all together and then go to sleep, it's going to be another tough day.

Helloooooo, Pudsey!

Okay, that was intense. I came expecting to work all day, and now I'm glad to have more experience really getting my hands dirty with this stuff. I've done engine swaps before, but mostly into cars that were already set up for the swaps, in terms of engine mounts and stuff (RB26 into S14, LS7 into G8 V6). This was entirely new territory and we had to do a lot of figuring out stuff by ourselves, but, we handled it - and I think the result came out pretty good, all things considered!

The night I arrived, as well as tonight, I managed to take some nice pictures of all of the cars around the shop.

The first thing I said to Marco when I arrived was: "Let me see it." He knew what I meant, immediately - the other 2JZ powered R33 across the world, the twin to the one built locally at the VS Garage branch in Arizona. Indeed, he took me to the garage to show me how things were going to be set up, and I saw it there:

The green R33 back home is an S1. I think this is too, but I don't know the year or whatever. Marco has been, let's say, "coy" about the details of the car - no fair, in my opinion, especially since it's kind of a demo car! ("Street drift" car, aka, used for demostrations and exhibitions.)

That derrière, though? Off topic: XS Engineering was a local shop in Phoenix (yes, in real life too) and it's cool to see their brand and parts here.

Yes, yes, the steering wheel is a kouki version, and so this might be an S2 with some S1 parts - but that's not even the point here. Marco surprised me while I was admiring his car, and he said "Catch!" suddenly. He threw the keys to me! (I'd like to say I was cool enough to have caught them properly, but I'd be lying. I mean: jet lag.) He told me that I could tool around town with it if I wanted, and that I could even burn up some tires at a local skid pad if I wanted! I told him I was honored and that I'd have to take him up on it - though, not until I had had some proper sleep. My sleep schedule was never truly "local" to Arizona to begin with, really more like somewhere out in the Pacific, so I felt entirely messed up sleep-wise.

Then I stepped around the corner and - holy crap. VS Garage must have some really rich folks for customers or something. I saw what looked like just a tuned Ferrari 355 and a TVR - both exotic for Phoenix (though maybe the Ferrari would have been expected in Scottsdale), but I didn't think I was looking at anything too rare.

Then I looked closer. The TVR, especially, gave me pause, because I wasn't believing my eyes for a moment - I thought I was actually looking at the genuine TVR Cerbera Speed 12, aka Project 7/12! No, as it turns out - this is a 4.0 Speed Six powered Cerbera with a custom turbo kit on it (see also the HKS intercooler) and a full bespoke Speed 12 body kit made out of carbon fiber. The 355 was a surprise, too - it was a genuine Challenge with a low-digit serial number (one I won't disclose, out of privacy).

Beautiful pieces of art. Also confirmed to me that, yes, I was smart for choosing big enough brakes to put onto my own R33.

After taking these pics, I stopped acting like the doofus tourist I felt like and went to bed. We worked all day the next day, and Marco took the few pictures we have of that; but, I snapped some more pictures of some cars in and around the shop.

Marco's very own Supra. Love it - especially the glass roof, which is a pretty sweet styling choice, even if I wouldn't have gone with anything but a fixed roof on one of my own cars.

I love the carbon diffusers on this car. I'd get something like this for the Supra if I thought they were good for aerodynamics or if they fit the theme of the car, but sadly, they are neither (and are outside of my budget while I hunt for more BCNR33 engine parts!).

Another customer car: a Corvette C6, obviously not a base C6 Z51 because it had the wider GS / Z06 / ZR1 fenders, perhaps ZR1 especially.

The car was indeed a ZR1, but I was really surprised when I got close enough to look at the engine. Visible through the transparent engine cover was not the stock Eaton supercharger I was expecting, but instead an individual throttle body intake - connected to two air boxes fed by twin Rotrex centrifugal superchargers! I'm told that this setup was inspired by a mix of Koenigsegg and Ferrari influence, and makes much more power on the same LS block than is usually extracted from the ZR1. Something I've never seen before, that's for sure.

Something I've rarely seen: center lock wheels. I have to say that, on this particular car, the look works excellently.

Outside was the shop's British Drift Championship car, painted with a rather, uh, "confrontational" paint job. I got a chuckle out of it when I first saw renders of the paint job, but I was surprised to hear that they actually printed the wrap like that! Still... funny to some tastes.

At least they're not joking around about the safety of their car. Proper cage and fixed-back seats; and I was wondering about the stock steering wheel and whether or not it had an airbag, until I looked closer and realized it was one of the non-airbag types that they fitted to some early ECR33s as well.

At least the paint was really good looking, underneath the Dogeritolicious wrap.

These wheels looked mega expensive, and were really cool to look at (and fun to photograph).

Sorry, S14, but you're being upstaged by your much cooler big sibling behind you. Keep trying (but, seriously, never stop having a sense of humor, even if that sense of humor might have to grow up a little).

Anyway. That's how my week went. I'm going to be back in the 'States before I know it. But for now, if you'll excuse me, I have a date with a helmet, an ECR33, and a skid pad...

The Prodigy

Hey guys. I'm new here, and I was told about this place by my buddy Parker. We live in the same town and hang out a bit, so I thought I would give this a try. My name is Darren, I'm one of those "trust fund" kids you hear about with super cars and all this stuff... Not really. I do have a trust fund, but I only dip into it for smallish things... Like my car. This is the second car I've had, but its a little special... Rolling into Maebashi, I set up come cameras to get some shots of me rolling past. That's my job, professional photography. My ride, is perfectly suited to the mountainous roads around Gunma. Shes a 1986 Toyota MR-2 AW11. It was originally a 4A-GE car, but it didnt have the power I wanted. I figured, "why not?" and dropped a K24 from a wrecked Honda CR-V in it. Its better, but not quite there. I AM however constantly getting overheating issues.

The ONLY thing selfie sticks are good for is getting tall shots like this...

Made some progress on the Civic! MX-5 rear axle and driveshaft is installed as well as some GReddy coils. I've put the temporary plates back on and took it for a spin. Or rather for a drift since you can't keep it in a straight line. Also fixed the front offset.

@Darren: Konichiwa and nice MR-2 :D

Hello again!

So the time came and I sold bought my cars, unfinished Sirra and my daily MK2. For Sierra I just didn't saw the point, most of was the the rust, oh the rust... and it needed alot of work and love what I could offer...For daily MK2, well, I just wanted something RWD!

So two days ago a friend of my offered me his friends Nissan 200X, only for 350 Eur, but it wadn't registred, didn't have an engine and overall I could say "junkie".

And here's some pictures in my garage:

About engine, prev owner said that it had CA18DET in, but while he was on track seriously over heated it, so he pulled it out and left it, forgeten.

For now my plans about this car would be to get it in working condition, I'm still thinking about CA18 or RB26... and yeah, make it somekind drift missile/ rat -style.

More updates comming soon!

Dropped the Mustang at the Ford Performance Center I gave the bumper to and got an engine performance stage 1 pack. ITBs and a new fuel pump plus injectors - now boosting the bhp from 260 to 322. Also new rims and brakes for the added performance

Well you didnt ask in a direct way and i dont like when people tries to make me cough up informations.. ahah. So yeah, it's a S1 with a few S2 parts. :)

Wacchutryinasayin', neggah? Those are handcrafted locally, yeah i know, it's "just a copy" of varis' ridox, i prefer my own quality rather than original's stuff(which often arent really detailed).

But i might just remove it now, you made me look like a stupid ass for having that. XD

# Harrison15 : Another customer car: a Corvette C6, obviously not a base C6 Z51 because it had the wider GS / Z06 / ZR1 fenders, perhaps ZR1 especially.

That WAS a customer's car. He didnt want to pay us so the court assigned it to us as part of the payment for the work we did on it.. it didnt actually even repay the parts alone tho.

Anyways, i guess someone may have already noticed from Harry's pics from yesterday. Yep, i've got a new hood for my R33.

It's a carbon Top Secret hood Harrison took with him from the US, i love how it looks and hopefully it's going to be painted as the rest of the car very soon. We're just starting with the 127 now since basically we spent the whole morning "working" in the skidpad. :troll:

Not too sure about the wheels, but the weather was nice so I went on a nice long drive. Car is also lowered quite a bit, but it is still static and will stay static. Also not going Liberty Walk.

I can't seem to find the right pair of shoes that make me happy with this car, so I'm going to have to keep looking. I may just settle with Work VSXX but I do like the concave style.

Scratch that actually, I've found the perfect wheels for this car and I'm going to get some tires on them today. That being said, I also have some forced induction plans for this car. Anyone want to come over and work on it?

ive been looking for a daily for a while now, and this came up when searching, and i thought why not,
it was relatively cheap (about 3k) for a (almost) stock Mitsubishi lancer,

the previous owner had put coilovers and some replica te37's (18 by 9.5) which fit rather nice

its seen a couple of tracks but im not too fussed
it has a 4g63 in it, and it goes (hahah)
the guy i bought it off said he did a couple of mods but ive forgotten what they were? (next time bring a note pad derp)
this is probably gonna be a runabout, just daily it, not too hectic on the mods, just somthing i can pick up parts for the 240,

ill probably work on the 240 tonight, if anyone wants to come hang haha

Hey guys!

Yesterday i was just looking around on Ebay for some interior parts and i found a hydraulic handbrake for just 50€.
Later that day, Andrej called me and told that a guy who knows his friend was selling a Momo Drifting steering wheel and Bride Zeta 3 racing seats, because he bought a used drift car and he's planning to make it street legal. I asked if he would need the old 17" rims from the Supra, and he said we could do a straight up trade. He got the seats out before i got there, but we took the steering wheel out in no time.

When Andrej arrived in the shop, we got all those interior bits in the Supra. Now i probably won't be thrown around so much when i drift. These seats have 4 point belts, enough to hold me in place :))

Here's another shot with the new rims.

Supercharged V8s are a beautiful thing.

Car needs a good tune now, I just got it running this morning and took it for a test, but babied it as I'm not trying to blow up the engine if I'm running too much boost. Once a good tune is sorted I should be running about 600whp (at most) and I'll roast some tires if anyone's interested. Oh, also because the front end was taken apart anyway, I got a chance to install this face lift front end, I believe it was from a 2011 SRT8. Same grill and lights from before but the bumper is different. Also new hood to house the supercharger, but I figure that's obvious. Finally the wheels are off my old 370Z, a car I still regret selling but probably wouldn't buy back. I'm excited for this car to evolve. Not sure if I'll paint it a new colour or colour match the new bits. I'll have to flip a coin.

^ Wow, you got some serious power now! 600hp, just like my Supra. The Challenger looks like a dragster with that hood. :D You could just colour match the bumper and hood, it looks good in white.

See you in a little bit man, I gotta come over with the Speed 3 though, my 240s being wrenched on a little bit. We can compare 4g63s though! haha

# Lagano : ^ Wow, you got some serious power now! 600hp, just like my Supra. The Challenger looks like a dragster with that hood. :D You could just colour match the bumper and hood, it looks good in white.

Yeah, I really like the white. That's 70% of why I got it, as I never see them come up is this colour and year. Also my 600HP means nothing with how heavy this thing is in comparison to a Supra, but it's got enough pull to make me happy with it as my spring/summer daily.

Do it for the ratchets

So, I managed to get a job at a local repair shop, and they agreed to let me use the empty space during down time. All my stuff arrived at my newly rented apartment (which is tiny compared to what I'm used to) including my prized Fuchs. I was riding on the others incase I scuff them, but I managed not to. I got the wheels mounted up, slapped a muffler on the rear to make it look vaguely intimidating, and got some proper pics of her. Since I finally have decent rubber (Toyo R888's) I may have to drag Parker with me and go tōge in the hills...

That K24 fits perfectly in there!

@Conkaa I'll be around.
@BB your R33 is so nice <3

Gave the FD some love in the form of wheels and a Spirit R wing.

They're 17x10 Work VS-SS (ET+5 up front and ET+3 rear) wrapped in 235/45r17 Toyo Proxes T1R. Ran me a solid $2000, might get them powdercoated all white.

I would race (beat) you Darren, but, I have done literally nothing to the S14 since you all last saw it. I haven't found a suitable RB motor yet. I will ride shotgun, for now...

Heh, I have a surprise or 2 of my own up my sleeve. I got a new msd tuning box for it, and I messed with the timing, the rev limiter, and the fuel delivery. I mean, how can you go wrong with a 10k red line, and roughly 200 horsepower, in such a lightweight car?

I'm so down to go for a run! Nice Minerva's, I have several sets in my garage haha. Let me know when you want to hit up a touge route, I know a bunch of spots.
