Your brother's car is nice. Your NA Miata is pretty mint too.

Well I stopped by Ebisu tonight. Anyone remember my red Chaser that I use at Ebisu?

Slightly tempted to bring it back to road worthy spec.. should I do it? This will be the only big project in my garage as the other cars are all roadworthy.

You should definitely bring it back to a working state. I've always wanted to go out to Ebisu, think I might do it within the next few months when a Matsuri is on.

Hello guys, here are some news about my cars

Since nobody noticed i tell the truth about the Volvo's engine. It's a 3000cc V6 coming from an Audi and pulling out about 220hp. It's much enought for my girl to drive it daily.

About my RX-7, i cleaned up the windows from every stickers and added some with a personal and more Rotary specific touch.
I replaced the taillights too and i'm thinking of respraying center of my wheels.
A full service has been done with engine compression check, everything is allright now.

So i drove it for about two hours. When i came back, i didn't notice immediately...

A bunch of friends found a dead 4-doors car and managed to bring it on the top of my office... Weird joke!
Wait... Is it a Chaser?

I stripped pretty everything from chassis and used a lot of rust protector on the bottom.

Also I bought myself a boat. It's a Lexus GS300 and while the suspension is somehow low, it's really soft. It got NA 2J under the hood. I got some fake racing harts and I'm going to daily it. Not going to do anything crazy, I just need to make the suspension a bit harder.

Lets go fishing, anyone with me?

Im down!

Well..once I get the Chaser back to road worthy spec..

@Kazern I think it's do-able. Just need to find seats, straighten the frame out, eg make it look like a car again.

Alright so I've got the car home. A friend of mine towed it home for me.

Hey VStanced! I'm in a really sketchy area of Valo looking at two vehicles, a Chevrolet G20 van and a Mustang Foxbody.I got a ride out here so I am hoping I can work some sort of package deal... The van comes with a trailer so I can tow the Mustang home If this works out. I will report back later.

UPDATE: The salesman wouldn't let me pop the hood on either vehicle, so I texted my friend to pick me up and we dipped. That place was hella sketchy anyways.

I might just buy something from a friend... I'll call him and see if he wants to sell it.

So, I am having a little get together at my shop and am going to talk to my buddy with the Mustang about selling his other car to me, he seems reluctant but I think I can make a deal. The R34 has been parked here for a few days while my friend is rebuilding the engine, I don't know why he had to put it in my shop but I guess I can get something in return, maybe he can help find me some parts for the Fury.

Any of you guys are welcome to come to my shop tonight. There is an Xbox set up in the loft, maybe play some Forza and then when it get's dark out, hit the streets of Valo and cruise. Anybody down?

There are some things kicking around the shop here, and I know some guys trying to unload things, but I don't really know if they meet your parameters. For instance... you willing to pay $4k for a naturally aspirated MA70 Supra?

I spent all of today and yesterday stripping down the JZX100 and straightening it up.

The old piping was all bent but I had spare IC piping from when I sourced parts to build this motor originally. So I threw that stuff on.

Took it for a quick rip around Nihonkai just to get a feel for how out of wack the alignment was and how worn down some parts were. Going to put in a huge parts order for running gear and replacement panels..

That is one clean engine. Nice.

# ThatBoostedGuy : Mind if I come down and take a look? I'll bring my checkbook just in case...
Sure thing. I'll call up the guys I was talking about. We're probably going to set up shop at the library, where we did the meet last time and where I took photos of that new R33, since that's one of the nicer places to take photos. (Believe it or not, they're actually getting used to having us around... I guess any attention is positive attention. One guy showed me the huge stack of Neil Gaiman books he checked out after the last meet.)

(later...)

Here are the two cars I could scrounge up: a 1991 Ford Mustang LX 5.0 Hatchback, and a 1988 Toyota Supra MA70.

Both cars are pretty rust-free; this is, after all, Arizona, and both cars are from around here. That said, fair warning - be prepared for faded paint and worn rubber; both cars are well-kept, but that's a thing here.

The Mustang has a pretty stock 302 Windsor with just a couple of go-fast mods (stock cam, stock internals, but I think that's a GT40 intake - wouldn't know, I'm not familiar with Windsors), and the owner told me the wheels are replica Weds, so not something he's too attached to. It's repainted, though - some later Mustang color I don't know the name of. 179k miles. His asking price is $3300.

The Supra, too, is pretty stock; but the owner definitely wants to keep the wheels. Paint is Alpine White (040). Minus those, the owner wants $2900. 153k miles.

Mustang owner let me take a picture of the engine bay. Supra owner declined, but you can see it in person. (OOC: I don't have an acceptable 7M-GE stand-in.)

I know I originally inquired about the Supra but that Mustang looks sweet. I am currently in a taxi headed down there, so I can drive it home if I buy it.

The Yokohama Advan Neova tires I've got on the R33 are great in the dry. (Haven't tried taming that particular beast in the rain too much. Go figure.)

The Supra has Bridgestone Potenza RE001 tires, and that car is pretty much great everywhere.

(By the way, have a look at these two C/D articles: Tire Test; Monsters of Grip.)

I love to run Advan Neova AD08's, but lately I've been trying a new compound, Falken Azeni RT615K's.

A friend of mine has Nikko Circuit rented out tomorrow, anyone want to come out and shred?

By the way, finally ironed some handling issues out of the R33.

I replaced the 2.7 final drive with a 3.0, because the 2.7 was absurd and I literally never needed gears that tall, not to mention that it left the car in the most "nervous" part of the torque band most of the time. Plus, the theoretical geared top speed of 250MPH or so was ludicrous, and was taunting me. Better not even to think about that too hard.

Also, I went with stiffer front springs, balanced out front and rear sway bars (before, the rear was a lot heavier), and adjusted damping. The car now handles like a competent performer, not the twitchy straight-line demon it was before.

I think I have my pride and joy back in top form! (Well, as long as I can get over being afraid of something happening to it while it's parked somewhere, or getting crashed into.)

Well i found a hardtop in my price range. Since it's black i decided to plasti-dip my window frame, i didn't match the color quite right but whatevs. Also threw on some new stickers because i'm a massive ricer.

On my way home from pricking up the hardtop i accidentally ran up a curb while turning in a 4-way, I'm gonna keep my eyes open for a new sideskirt but i'm really don't mind much since this is the worlds shittiest Miata

The engine seems "tired" so i might swapped whenever i get the cash and an idea of what i want.

So guy, i had to rent a forklift but the Chaser shell left the top of my office. It now has to go because i don't feel like driving another 4 or 5 doors car.
The shell is a little bit dented but some parts can be used on another car, body panels are rusted and damaged...

Trade in for a Miata shell maybe? I fell in love with Mazda's

Sorry for the long silence. My brother was hospitalized due to an accident. He was cruising down the highway when something went into his rear, turning him into the wall. Makoto is fine exept a few bruises and a broken nose (airbag) but the Altezza is totaled. The chassis is bent and jammed up the rear left wheel. He had to call a tow truck with a crane because it couldn't be flat-towed. Intercooler and tranny oil cooler are gone, rad and engine oil cooler are cracked. Hood and front bumper are pretty much gone, too. Makoto wants to take out the 2JZ and check if it survived. We were busy anyway with the business. The K20A is fully installed and runs great! I have to drive my brother around until he has a new ride.

(Actually I had to work overtime in RL and also sorry for the stock SLRR brakes)

Traded my rsx integra clone for a lightly damaged bug eye wrx with few goodies. (broken bumper ,dented fender, bent control arms)
Sti engine with 6 speed gearbox and few bolt ons (390Hp with E85)
Sti interior
Sti boodykit all around (wide fenders n stuff)
H&R coils
Sti brembo brakes (still has 5x100 hubs for some reason)
No name exhaust system
Some weird wing
ebay special taillights

first thing i did was instal stock wrx tail lights i had laying around and got it registered on same plate i had on rsx

next step was to install blob eye face for that i had to replace rad support so it went for color change as well :))

dont worry it's not getting painted gray its just primer coat
