My names Smurfie (also go by Trashy) and if you don't know me from the old thread than i used to live in Valo where i had a garage with some friends but shit happened and we lost it and i had to move back home to Washington and sell all but 1 car, which was later destroyed by a tree that had dreams of making it on showbiz. After that i bought a haggard Miata that i threw a bunch of stickers on and sold within a month, then i had bought a 240 and a 316i E36. I did some suspension work to the 240 and traded it for my current daily the Evolvo.

Evolvo:

It's a 1997 Volvo 850 with 163k on it and a pair of 850r rims.

The main reason i bought it is for the engine, The genius i bought it decided to swapped out the original 5 cylinder and drop in a 4G63. Unfortunately he didn't want to do an insane amount of work so he used a FWD Auto 2G tranny.

((Don't mind the horrible clipping))

E36:

This was my friends first car back in high school and is actually the first car i worked on and the car i learned to drive stick in. It had been sitting in his garage for about a year and around the time i sold the Miata he told me he'd sell it to me for the price of the rims, so i got a 1993 BMW 316i with 224k on the stock engine with cut springs for only $400.

You're probably thinking that since it's 2 different colors than it must of been wrecked a few times but believe it or not it has a clean title, the reason it's 2 colors is because in HS one of our friends had a black E36 and they decided it would be cool to trade body panels. Oh and i add the M3 bumpers a little while ago but never got around to post it in the old thread.

I had to throw cash on top of the trade for the Evolvo so currently i'm broke.

Update:

So yesterday at around 1 am i decided to take the e36 to parking lot drift land with a few friends for early morning hooning and ended up "walltapping" a pole jam to which my bumper said deuces and split. The bumper is completely fucked, so i guess i won't be using it anymore. After a little more hoonage i heard something that sounded like grinding metal from the engine bay, after that i couldn't shift it out of 2nd and the clutch pedal felt like there wasn't any pressure behind it and no matter how much i revved it, it wouldn't move. For some genius reason i decided to rev it to redline and dump the clutch but nothing happen, i started laughing without realizing i was still holding the throttle and after a few seconds i heard a loud *POP* and chunks of metal flying around the block, then the engine died.
Almost forgot to mention the rims, when i bought the car i had to replace the tires so i didn't want to hoon on brand new tires so i put on a set of old BMW rims i had with slightly used tires. Anyway i got the car towed back to my place by my brother then got a few hours sleep and took a day off work to spend it pulling the engine out. Not sure what exactly happened to the tranny but the crankshaft pretty much exploded so now the bottom end is filled with grease and metal chunks.

I haven't decided if im gonna keep it for a future project or scrap it. Either way i'm selling both sets of rims and the steering wheel because right now i need the money more than i need parts for a car that's just taking up space.
Oh and if anyone wants the shell i'm only charging a little more than scarp prices.

I'm probably just gonna give the beemer back to my friend, doubt anyone wants to buy it and it's taking up space so the only other option is to scrap it but i don't want to destroy something with so much sentimental value. And yea i just got my bike a month ago, i used to ride a little in the 8th grade but haven't had the money for a bike since i got a car and thats when i lost interest.

So since it doesn't look like anyone is going to buy my HRE 501s i decided to test fit them on the Evolvo thinking they'd be too small but they look really good, Now i just need more low. Also it turns out the 850r rims had spacers on them, don't know how i didn't notice since the front actually had poke but whatevs. Last night i also decided to paint my bike and trade pedals with a friend. I ran out of blue before i got to my bars so i used a can of white i found in my garage.((Now it looks like my IRL bike))

Haven't anything in awhile because i'm trying to save money for parts but the other day i decided to get some eyelids off of Ebay and since i was going to take out the lights anyways i decided to also get some yellow film from Wally World to get even more Eurodoucheness.

The eyelids were supposed to come as the same factory color i have on my car but when they got here, they were way too bright(Fucking Ebay) so i decided to spray them with leftover plasti-dip from the roof.

Two weeks ago?) i put them on but didn't really feel like updating it here and kinda forgot about it. Well yesterday i went up to the mountains to enjoy the snow before it leaves us again, so i figured i'd take a few pics while up there.

Thanks man!

# Lagano : Wow, there's still snow in april!

There's only snow up on the mountains, down here on the ground it only snows like one day a year.

# [ALB]Spagetti : Have you ever thought of engine swapping it again? Or you are going to upgrade it?

I won't be swapping it, the stock 4g makes enough power for me, for now. In the future i might fit a bigger turbo and try to convert it to awd but i have no idea how i would go about doing that.

Eh, i really don't like that much rear chamber, tbh i think the amount of chamber i have in the front is pushing it.

E36 Update:

So i just realized i never explained what happened to the E36. Well after realizing that no one really wanted to buy it i decided to give it back to my friend. Since it's original parking space was taken it sat outside in the rain with a leaky sunroof, the headliner collapsed and was moldy as fuck. His little brother needed the old rims so they put on a set of 300zx rims with bald tires. but now that i have some money and nothing else to spend it on, i decided to get it back.

Honestly have no idea why 1 taillight is yellow now

Also they put a knock off momo on it so they could move it around without a using a wrench

As for the Evolvo, i got another can of plasti-dip to spray the woodgrain on the dash.

and since i don't really like the pictures from the other day here's a better one.

Well since it's been nearly 2 weeks since i requested an engine from vstance garage with no reply i decided to find a cheap one myself. Already bought all the parts and picked up the ones from Craigslist now i'm just waiting on the Ebay parts.

I measured the engine bay and the headers from the engine won't fit so i got these aswell.

I'll get some pics of everything when it all gets here.

So after getting all the parts for the 318 i realized it was too big for the E36 so i'm putting it away until i can find a car for it or sell it. I realized this a day or two after my last post but didn't think it warranted it's own post so i wanted to wait until something happened before i updated you guys, but i've been busy so yesterday i finally decided to go out and rip around the backroads with a friend and his camera.

Got a little ahead of myself and the back came out on me a little.

I managed to not fly off road and i'm really thinking of getting some swaybars before going back out there.

Well i bought a new car... kinda, i traded the 318 and V$500 with a friend for it.
It's a '93 240(Cause ya know, no one else has an S-Chassis right?)
My friend bought it with a blown engine and struts but a complete body, and after he pulled the engine out it got hit in the front left while infront of his house. The collision destroyed the bumper, left headlight, hood, fender and bent the engine bay a bit but as you can see he replaced the hood and fender.

Also i moved to a new apartment that weirdly had a few 2 car garages for rent(which is the reason i chose it)

Well long time no see Vstanced, I've been saving up while i was gone so i can actually upgrade my cars instead slightly modifying them. Doesn't seem like anyone cares but a few days after getting the S13 i realized i really didn't want it and that it was just an impulse buy so i sold it to some random off CL for V$1000, and in total i only lost V$500 on it. So with all this money burning a hole in my car budget account i decided to get a new project car and finally found a new engine for the E36 (was about to sell it to someone on here awhile ago but the deal never went through), I paid V$1750 for the engine and shipping (Shootout to 900xXREDLINE) and it should be here in a few days. As for the new project, it's something i don't think anyone else on here has.

Yup a 66' Beetle, i know one was auctioned off awhile for what seems to me like an insane price but i was able to score it for V$4750.

I got it from an old guy down in farm country that has dozens of older VWs on this small farm. The paint is real bad since it's been rattle canned(And not well). On the bright side it does have air bags up front but the guy advised me not to use them very much since their cheap and old, plus it can't steer very well when the front is down.

The stock seats are long gone so the guy threw in these GTI seats so i can actually drive it. Also apparently the car was originally black and the door was replaced... the more you know.

Well here a few more pics i've taken over the last few days.
