Been out for a while, enjoying life. Deciding that 2016 I'm going to minimize the cars that I have. Selling the S15 and the GX81 so I'll be left with two S-Chassis's and an RX-7.

My S13 coupe is probably going into hibernation while I work on it in the background sourcing parts (still has no insurance). The FD is my daily (but soon isn't going to be), and my RPS13 is my baby. Going to pick up a fourth car and truly try to keep it comfy. But we all know how that goes.

New wheels for my RPS. Blitz Type 03, 18x10 all around with a +5 offset in the front and 0 offset in the rear.

2001 style success.

Hello guys, I finally found the RX-7 i was looking for. The ship arrived yersterday evening, i hauled it to my garage immediately...
it's a 1997 RS with clean stock engine with 30k kms a set of Tein coilovers, 99spec rear wing, bigger brakes and a nice set of aftermarket wheels looking like the Spirit R ones.

Well the previous owner did had some good tatse but was a sticker-maniac.

Then i found a strange button under the steering column aaannnnnd:

WHAT THE F*** NEONS??
The tail lights look like a mess too

A small cleaning work will occur in the next days.

Custom T-Type Regal
Bought a used Regal at the lot, was in poor condition drivetrain wise but the body was excellent. Pulled out the stock V6, striped the body from lousy parts, sandblasted the body,etc...
Put in the 7.7 liter dual carb V8, with some fine tuning and tweaks, puts over 1000hp to the wheels. Full racing drivetrain and a Show Car body just to mess with people while "phishin'" :)

Currently I am using the agency's van to go pick up a motor. The boss was cool with it surprisingly. He says I can use it whenever as long as I bring it back on a full tank. Details of the motor are to come in the next few days...

Also I am thinking of buying myself a cheap van just to haul anything I might need around. I will ponder it.

GX81 and S15 are gone - I just couldn't get attached to the S15 and the GX81 sadly had to go because it wouldn't pass inspection and I sure as hell didn't want to lift it back on stock suspension (because I sold that stuff a long time ago and sourcing it again would be too much). Now I own four cars-

-PS13 (off the road, not insured, practice car)

-RPS13 Sil80 (nice drift car)

-FD3S RX-7 (street shark)

and this..

Seeing that I needed a new daily, and I wasn't about to spend a ton of money, I decided to go hunting after Christmas. Set aside about $5,000 to see what I could suss out. Decided that I wanted another S-Chassis and low and behold I managed to find this gem-

It's an almost stock 1991 Nissan 240SX SE. The owner had swapped an SR20DE in it, for daily driver reasons. Story behind this car is that the owner's mother had bought this car brand new in 1991, automatic at first, and daily drove it most of the time, maintaining it well. She passed it down to her son (the owner) when he turned 18, and he basically used it to learn stick, and used it for school. Surprising, a kid who didn't hoon and beat up his 240. The factory KA24E ended up blowing up, so the guy swapped an SR20DE to learn about swaps, and it was a straightforward swap. Ended up going with a 5speed trans, and it currently has fresh tires, new clutch, I will daily this, since my blue coupe has no chance of ever being road legal again (tube front, ride height, etc etc) and I'll lightly modify this probably, do the +T conversion, lower, etc. Still really happy on this buy.

I was getting tired of the CRX and the Mustang so i've sold them and bought guess what? This! I think VW Bora will be good for creating a stance car. This car is a brand new, it have a stock VR6 VW 3.6 engine so this car will be really fast.

@marcus: Nice S13. It's indeed amazing that the kid didn't hoon that thing. I know a local guy who got a 180SX when he could afford his first car. He was driving the hell out of that thing. His head gasket failed and the engine started knocking. When I've last heard it, it had a crank-knock. End of story was that the engine seized up and he had to be towed away. He had to return to commute by train until he got a new engine.

@Polar: You still have to learn a lot, my friend... The biggest available engine was a 2.8l VR6. I did tell you something about research, right? *sigh* Well, nobody gives a damn about what I say anyway...

@marcus whoa that's one mint S chassis!

My Miata is doing good. I wanted to paint those steelies and I did it, but I also ended up painting my dark blue panels black (color still doesn't match). I don't know if I'm going to keep these steelies tho (I u interested, they are up for grabs). I also got ITB's, engine is more lively now, and induction noise is awesome :awesome:

This is how she sits right now:

Also there's something wrong with front suspension, going to do rebuild soon.

Here is my motor, a Ford 427ci SBF racing motor. Well, part of one, anyways...

Here is my to do list with this motor.
-New clutch
-New flywheel
-Some sort of transmission (Not decided yet)
-Custom intake & throttle body
-Custom headers

Now, this will not happen for a long time but I do plan to supercharge it.

That's all for now.

Terrible things can happen in life. I was driving home from work and someone ran into the road, I stopped as fast as I could, but driver behind me couldn't stop so fast and he ran into me. It wasn't a huge hit, but my back felt it. And Miata felt it. The chassis was twisted, whole car out of alignment. Insurance gave me money and took the car, because it was said to be unfixable.

On the good side, I found rust free Miata for sale, and I'm going to pick her up tomorrow. The car is basically stripped so I'll start fresh with my build.

Sadly I couldn't take big parts, I only took my nardi out. I couldn't complain, because I got decent money for the car. Also I don't plan using original engine in my new chassis.

The little brother of drift bucket

<--- Remember this?

Yeah, i just found his little brother, he has an hatch instead of trunk.

Its an 200sx that the owner had swapped out the 1.8 16v Boosted engine to an CA18DET, the reason was that the KA24DE blew an hole in the engine block. The crankshaft or the conrods had exploded.

Specs:
-CA18DET ~200HP @Crankshaft
-Stock suspension
-No rust at all, a bargain
-Worn tires, perfect for testing the LSD :P
-Mint Interior
-Stock muffler
-Full tank of gas

I went out to my bootleg rally course to race around and test the LSD and it was definetily not welded or race diff, but it was driftable.

Here is some pics of the car:

So after however the fuck long it's been since, i'm finally back. I know surely you've all missed my constant shitposting but please hold the applause.
((Don't feel like restarting my RP so i'll just build off it))

Shortly after my last post something came up and i had to move back home to Washington, So i sold the RSX and Regal to pay for the move and to cover the transport cost of the RX-7. Well after i got back i realized there wasn't enough room to store the FC at my Uncles house(who i'm staying with) so my buddy said he'd keep it in his garage till i found a more permanent place for it. Unfortunately we've had one of the wettest Decembers in the Pacific Northwest West which has caused a lot of flooding, combined with strong winds(We even had a tornado a few miles away from our house) means trees don't like to stay in the ground and my friends tree decided it wanted to be a Broadway actor and headed east... but it only got a few feet east and landed right on the garage, crushing my FC. Apparently my insurance doesn't cover "Acts of god"(Or trees being fed up with a life of mediocrity) so i'm back at square one.

With about 2k left from the RSX i bought this pile of garbage.

The previous owner said he hit a light post in a parking lot and replaced the bumper fender and headlight but everything else is original, except the Ebay coils and front rims which i bought shortly after getting the car.
I'm trying to find a hardtop right now because the soft top leaks quite a bit, but these cars don't seem to be all that popular around here so it might be hard.
Until my next shitpost, Stay classy Vstanced.
Edit: i forgot to mention it has 180k miles and the custom plate i got to represent the total state of the car.

Hey Vstanced, I need a thrash car. I can't thrash the CTS-V because I don't want to crash it, and the Fury is nowhere close to being done yet. Does anybody have any suggestions for a cheap drift pig?

Buick Regal or Mustang Foxbody, maybe. That, or an MA61 Supra.

(You're probably not going to be able to find a cheap S-chassis any more.)

I like the sound of a Mustang Foxbody. I always wanted one of those back in college but I ended up with a used Pontiac Bonneville (Mind you this was mid 90's, my character is around 40). I will do some digging.

@Kazern. Mind giving me a little bit to think? I'm not sure if I am willing to take on another rolling chassis at the moment but I will consider it.

Then again, the Fury is going to take a while and I want to drift right now. I'll post again later tonight and I should know by then.

A motor is going to take quite a while to source parts and build. Not to mention unless you purchase an NA8C you have to fabricate custom mounts, wiring harnesses, so you'd be stuck with yet another project.

@Marcus, yeah, I shouldn't take on another project right now. Thanks

@Kazern, sorry buddy going to pass on this one.

I might just pick up the next car I see that meets these requirements.
-Rear Wheel Drive
-Sub $1000
-Runs and drives.

I'll buy something, weld the diff, and if I crash it, who cares?
