can someone help or guide me with this problem? with some mod cars the game slows down a bit when you press the brakes because i think its loading brake lights texture.
Can someone guide me fixing this? i revived my slr lately and i came across with this issue? many thanks |

That can't be fixed, the lighting takes a lot from the performance

there is one way, remove from taillights cfgs the glow and the enlightened mesh

It's easiest to delete the "Flares.ptx" from maps\skydome\lensflare but in that way you lose the lightglows

For example, francos mx5 works like a charm, in opposition all skylines cars do that little stop. Is this a care concept defect, a game defect,and can i fix without losing the light up function even if doesn't glow? Can you see where want to get? Thanks for your patience in advance |

Franco's miata works like a charm cuz there is no glows on the taillight, only mesh show up when you brake.
Do it as Bigg Boss says, but delete only the lines for the glows and let the line for the mesh. |

As far as your game problem: By the looks of it, Skylines' car (whichever one it is) does not have any light flare objects either, unless there is a custom one buried in there somewhere. As a way of testing things, you might want to just comment out all of the light glow objects with #'s. Added 1 minute later: Change this: # Pedro_Takumi : skylinesTo this: # Pedro_Takumi : skylines And see if that helps. |

so.. it lags from the textures, not from the light glows? whats your specs> i have realy realy old pc and have no problem at the night

6 GB ram windows 7 64 Nvidia GeFORCE GT 425M Added 40 seconds later: from what i can see it can only be the textures, seems to take a while to load Added 23 hours 43 minutes later: did someone experienced this issue? Added 20 minutes later: finally fixed, just turn off the lens flare in video menu for all of you with this problem Thank you for all your help guys Added 2 days later: False positive, the problem persists.
