Do you have shorter spring meshes? That's the most direct way of fixing it.
Also, try looking for lines similar to these in the chassis CFG of the car: ;upper arms on chassis slot -0.430 0.060 -1.055 0 0 0 501 slot 0.430 0.060 -1.055 0 0 0 502 slot -0.430 -0.002 1.106 0 0 0 503 slot 0.430 -0.002 1.106 0 0 0 504These correspond to the tops of the springs at the four wheels. The first coordinate is the X (left/right); the second is the Z (up/down), and the third is the Y (back/forward). Try subtracting 0.025 from the Z coordinates of the first two. Also, nicely done S14. Not a fan of the Zenki myself, but that's a nice one. |

# Harrison15 : Do you have shorter spring meshes? That's the most direct way of fixing it. Is there any way you can simplify that? Lol, I've never made a mod/ edited one either.. Where do I find the chassis cfg? I found 2 chassis files but neither were cfg... and how do I edit them haha... And thanks! I don't really like the zenki either, but the core support poked through the kouki hood. But it's moved now |

The first suggestion by Harrison is most quickly and will solve all yours future problems of this kind.
Get the shock and spring mesh from Robban's replacement pack and you're done;) |

# Mario : The first suggestion by Harrison is most quickly and will solve all yours future problems of this kind. it's funny you say that because I just remembered I had that mod and just installed it, looks/works great now! Added 1 day later: Anyone got a fix for this? Or can anyone tell me how to fix this? For some reason this is the default location when you buy a new bumper. That's possible to fix, but you will need to change the slot positions, which is a lot more complicated and time-consuming to do than the other thing.
Does at least one of the bumpers work correctly? |

The back bumper lol, but neither the zenki or kouki bumper works. but it's off and on, earlier I played the game and it worked fine, but sometimes it places in the middle of the car and makes about 3 copies of the bumper, meaning if I remove it, there's another one under it. also kinda unrelated, But i finally found out what the error log it (lol took me long enough) and I keep getting this about 25% of the time when flipping through the tire shop. How do I troubleshoot this? !Package conflict: multiple packages placed at the same location ( at parts\f_tires\scripts) !Package conflict: multiple packages placed at the same location ( at cars\racers\scirro_mk1\scripts) |

# vwscirocco : There is one quick way. Place the part in-game on the right place - press alt+tab and add the values from the adjustable sript in the cfg reunite the new parameters with the old one. These parameters are for a parent part e.g. if you do that for the bumper add the parametes in the main cfg not the bumper cfg I'm using this way when crossing parts from one mod to another This post was edited by Mario (2013-01-26 10:32, ago) |
