aaaand.
  Went with a fantastic OEM NSX red. The Sexy Style aero was simply a test fit that I disliked, while I sent my Works9 aero off to get repaired. Acquired the rear bumper as well for a steal so I've finally got a full kit. Wheels are from my old sets, also previously run on this car and my R32. Finally gave in however, and cut up the rear fendesr to fit D-Max Type III overs.  Threw on my stock rolled guards for paint as well. Pretty happy with the way it turned out. Motor setup is just about finished and the car will be at Bihoku Hi-Land tomorrow for testing, and finances will be done soon. |

Motor package is a very reliable twin turbo 1JZ-GTE. Mostly factory save for a bigger Greddy intake manifold and a Q45 throttle body, plus bigger injectors and an Apexi Power FC.  Took the car to Bihoku and boy is it fun..

fuck i've been sleeping.
things have happened!   Some of you will probably hate the wing, but it's a Do-Luck Type II wing, same one my good friend Ismael used to have on his now long gone 180SX. Also picked up carbon underskirts and a fiberglass front lip. (I'm such a hypocrite for jumping on the S2000 hype train lol) Lately I seen the prices for the first gen AP1 S2000's going down, and I figured I may as well swoop one up. Found a clean, but high mileage first gen AP1 for 750,000yen (which happens to be most of the money I've made in the past 2 months).   The car is mint, clean title, been driven hard in the past but everything has been properly maintained till now. 190,000 k's on the clock and sits on Buddy Club N+ Spec coilovers, and has been fitted with an Invidia N1 straight through exhaust system. Plans are to probably drift/daily it, since there's pretty much no chance of the 180SX ever going back on the road legally and the Cresta has been lookng a little rough lately, not to mention my S14 is still in pieces.

Ahh don't think I'll be going turbo. The torquecurve is very peaky and I'm not a fan of it to begin with.
Double update tonight! 180SX edition.  First things first, NEONZ   Finally got my ass an M-Sports hood, D-Max roof wing, and 18x9 R34 GTR wheels wrapped in 215/40/18 up front and 225/40/18 in the rear. Soooo good. YEAAAAAAB BOIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII

I've knocked the Cresta thoughts out of my head for now..Focusing on the AP1!
180SX is on jackstands because..    Took the R34 stockers off that and fitted them to my Honda, 18x9 +30, sits real good, just needs maybe a 5-10mm spacer. Also swooped an AP2 front bumper off my friend's S2000 for free as he is going Varis and won't need this aero anymore.

Put the 15mm spacers all around, sits real good now!  Here's a recent photo of the 180SX attacking Southern Circuit before I took the wheels off to put them on the S2000.  It's been down for a little bit since everything's a little rough lately (been considering pulling off the livery) but I have a photo of a test fit.  I finally caved and bought a set of Work Meister S1's hehe. Needs work right now, fronts rub real bad so no fenders and still trying to figure out stuff with my car. More detailed post later! |
