that's kinda funny because i still have yet to find a bug/glitch/error with it i mean stage 1 pissed me off that its just some community mods thrown in a copy of slrr and it still doesn't work properly

there's no real hate towards the mod.. it's simply that the author is not present on english communities, he's not on gom or VStanced so we can't really support something we don't distribute or know about! if he was around, uploaded his work, joined the community etc no one would have a problem but when a user comes in and says "i have a problem with my slr by jack" all I can say is go and ask in the russian sites, where you got it from and where the "jack" guy is active.

^ What Edd said above.
For reference, the install I'm running is a 2.2.1 with MWM and LE2MWM unpacked onto it, and then a ton of LE compatibility crap I made myself (LE catalog, etc). I ran LE for a really long time, and while I didn't swear by it (in fact, more often I swore at it), it was usable. You can basically get anything running if you're willing to put in the maintenance. But, not having any reliable information on SLRR by Jack makes it hard to support. |

I tried the SLRR by Jack once. It lagged more than my personal install (and my PC should handle SLRR just fine), and it wont let you add certain mods apparently.
Also, Stage 1 is something is indeed filled with community mods. But mostly community mods we know are from good modders, while SLRR by Jack has all sorts of mods. Me personally, don't and never did use any of those. I've always prefered to start completely clean with the 2.2.1 MWM install we got in the download section |

Ugly is my reason I've never used Jack's version.
If you want to play career mode, no cheats, use 2.3.0 If you want to photoshoot cars & make mods yourself, use 2.2.1 LEMWM Stage 1 |

my only problem is that it crashes due the fact that modmakers never say what version their mod is made for, only the bigger ones that upload do it ... so yeah that's the only problem i got: crashes due wrong mods

Another problem is that the catalog for engines has changed , but this can easily be eliminated in rpk file of engines.
I have no problem with it personally, but I modified a few another things and it works perfectly with any car or any engines. |
