Mmmmm the S14 restoration is going nicely! Nice selection of wheels too!
OORP: Did you make the Eneos gas station texture by yourself? Or is there any link of it? It looks decent, y'know EDIT: Oh, also bring your FC1 to Tsukuba some time! I wanna know the potential it has after that power figure bump And yep, it's rare to see a new-gen Civic here, let alone a properly tuned one This post was edited by BigSmoke (2018-11-19 15:50, ago) |

# 11000rpm : seeing your post, imma save some money for my next ride haha xD Congrats on the S15 yo! Massive potential right there. # BigSmoke : Mmmmm the S14 restoration is going nicely! Nice selection of wheels too! Thanks man! Yeah I retextured the Weekend Drive Map by CorradoSKJ to have the ENEOS Decals over STATOIL. And yeah modern Civics are quite uncommon, much less tasteful ones, thanks for the kind words! # Nightrunner : OH MY FUCKING GOD MAN , THE S14 is looking amazing ! And boy , the CREX , THANKS AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA (This is actually an S14 with a BNR33 Front Bumper)# jdmkvng : Mayyne that honda looks like it gets down It does indeed, thank you! # Soju : the squad looks sexy af Indeed! Wish you were here!! Added 1 hour 16 minutes later: MOSHI MOSHI WE'RE OVER HERE AT EBISU NISHIHey there! So yeah this is what you would typically call a continuation or "part 2" of the Ebisu Nishi Session that Niatross initially covered. Niatross, Nightrunner, Lagano, and I were able to meet-up at Ebisu, and Shez tagged a long too! He was in a rental though because his cars haven't hit Japanese shores yet. More details on Niatross' Part 1 Coverage so G O ! Check it out ! Picking up where we left off, Muzahid (Niatross) and Dominik (Nightrunner) stopped into the pits to rest and check on their rides. Dominik switched the rears to VSKFs on his ER34, while Muzahid did a whole set change to some Fortecs Squrossas on my S14. When all was said and done they went out for some E P I C . T A N D E M S Until such time that they had to hit the pits again. My S14 was misfiring so I had to check on it. It turns out the coil pack wasn't seated in right so we took the spark plug cover off, shook it into place, then popped the cover back on. Here's Muzahid testing it out and warming up the rear tires Then WHOOP, CLUTCH DUMP! The S14 went FLYING! After lunging the car forward Muzahid did his best to stop in time, and he did, err, for the most part. O O P SDAMAGE CONTROLR.I.P. side skirts. 2018-2018 Yeahhh we just removed the skirt until later on before the photoshoot where we sort of hacked it back into place. On the lighter side of things, we all parked next to each other for a brief moment before setting off. Have a glimpse of Project Strawberry in drift sesh form! Weds Cerberus IIs were my choice of shoes for this event. Y A P . G O O D . T I M E S . S T Y L E . M I X ! And that was that. We proceeded to set off into another round. This time, Muzahid and Ziga (Lagano) were side by side, door to door on each other! Rifky (Shez) was riding shotgun in my S14. ULTRA CLOSE! No damage has been done and I'm glad about that. Although I really wouldn't have cared anyway since the car is in like 50 shades of white which is epic. Then it was my turn. I was leading in front of Dominik as he chased me throughout Ebisu, with Rifky now riding shotgun in my S15, doing LOUD CHEERS, and EPIC FUN TIME LAUGHS YO MAXIMUM ATTACK!So yeah, that's pretty much how it went down. OH WAIT! I was able to snap some pics of some other non-acquainted attendees! A solid Z32 300ZX which surprisingly, just did a track shakedown, no drifts! Looks like a Wings West Kit, rolling on Uras Exsols. And then there's this MADMAN. Word on the street is, this Korean migrated to Japan in 2009, same year Hyundai pulled out! And thanks to a few strings pulled, he was able to bring in a Genesis 3.8 Coupe. RAD! It's got some bolt-on flares and it's rolling on what seem to be some wide ass Work Meister L1s. After that was a JZX100 Mark II Tourer V. ABSOLUTELY. SENDING. IT. F to that nasty rear impact though. While it was cooling down, I discovered that this is a 1JZ-GE+T! He used the factory 1JZ-GE block with high compression pistons, and combined it with a 1JZ-GTE Twin Turbo head. Although it has been modified to accommodate a big single setup. Shortly after I discovered a twin! JZX100 Chaser Tourer V! In much more decent shape. SOOOOO SEXY on those R34 stockies WOW. This cleaner example is powered by big single 1JZ-GTE VVT-i, DAMN. Another good one, a JZS161 Aristo! I wasn't able to see it in action but it was sitting pretty nice. By this time it had already been sunset. And during our departure at night we spotted a very drift ready S14. That's it for that drift day! But the morning after I convinced them to meet me at the dock in their best setups so that I could shoot all of us (with a camera, not a gun. Epic.) Dominik's ER34. Digging the sticker tune, and the Work Emotion T7Rs (Which he calls XT7s) match the look well. AP Racing silicon under these wheels to help bring the car to 0km/h on a dime. My ever-evolving but usually broken Project Strawberry S15. Last week I had to get my fuel pressure regulator replaced. And now I hear a ticking noise when the engine is cold, I think the VCT Sprocket is on its way out. But apart from that, she drives like a dream, and slides even more so. My other project, the S14. There's not much to say about this car, other than a well excuted Kouki facelift, and its miraculous quarter panel resurrection from a painful crash. Muzahid though, he was crying tears of joy at Ebisu, it's as if the prodigal son has returned. He's gotten used to the RB25 since that time he ran over Dominik's side skirt. Says he misses the power, but it isn't a total downgrade. "Sounds HIGH GEWD LAD." He muttered. And last, but MOST certainly NOT the least, Ziga's S14 Zenki. This thing was WILD at Ebisu, the RB26DETT sounded orgasmic and goes HARD in this RWD coupe. I'm a fan of the livery, especially that Auto Factory Realize Sticker. Opposite Style G O ! His Z33 brakes are bigger than my OEM ones! We had an absolute BALL during this trip. Lots of shenanigans, good vibes, laughs, and some RAD CARS. TAKE ME BACK PLS! It's a shame Marc (Macaron_moon) wasn't able to go, but he had other personal plans to attend to, more on that on his upcoming RP update! YUP, end of the line. That's all the coverage I have for you folks, thanks for tuning in! I'll have more updates on my cars soon! Finances: This post was edited by RocketBunnyS13 (2018-11-29 18:59, ago) |

Weeeew boiiii sure you guys had a lot of fun!
Muza's run with Lagano looks ultra-tight over there! And I bet Rifky/Shez looked like this: *LINK* May his vocal cord have a good rest after that day As of the cars outside the jolly convoy, I'm sure the Korean boys (Soju and 11K) will approve that Genesis so much And oh, that Aristo is just pure fire, I love that kit choice Speaking of which, I can spot an S2K in the background of the docks pics. Who's S2K is that? |

RB S14 gang going strong!!
Man, Ebisu is so much fun, especially with wild runs like we did sometimes!!! I didn't really wanna do such intense tandem runs cause i often drift all over the damn place, i got way too close to Muza a few times lol. Good that you let him take his old S14 for a ride, even if he got a bit too excited at first and almost messed up a R34 in the process. xD I was a bit shocked but then i just laughed it off. Long story short, it was pure awesomeness as always, so many other great rides too! My S14 will have to take a break now, poor thing had to go through all this drifting 1 week before this as well so i'll have to give it a proper inspection. |

I'm glad you enjoyed hooning the S14 haha YES IT IS GO AND GET YOUR DRIFT MACHINE NOW PLS THANKS # BigSmoke : Weeeew boiiii sure you guys had a lot of fun! Yeah boy it was SUPER fun, the S14 Muzahid was in was no match for Lagano's RB26DETT POWAHH And yeah exactly like thAT, THAT WAS HIS EXPRESSION HAHAHAHA I wonder how his vocal cords are doing these days GHMMMM And about the S2K, stay tuned for my latest post! # Sleepin mOnkey : that looks like hella fun Indeed it was yo # Lagano : RB S14 gang going strong!! YES S14 CONNECTION STRONK It really was! Yeah I know you say that a lot but you and your S14 go together like peas and carrots. You had good control, and aggressive but rad lines! Hope your drift car gets some TLC soon and then we can do some sessions again # Nightrunner : YEEYAGE IT WAS NOTIHNG BUT GOOD VIBES. Also F to side skirt # Soju : Damn, nice to see the Hyundai in Japan Yeah I was surprised as well! Thanks man! I try my best to take some good picturinos haha # jdmkvng : Cars is nice as hell makes me wanna learn to drift GO GO ! Drifting is suuuuper fun. Thanks btw! Added 1 hour 7 minutes later: Epic Update TimeAYYYYYY what's up! Guess I'm due for another updateeeeee DYING? HMMMMMI was supposed to take the S15 out and meet up with some friends, which is why I swapped the cars and left FaCe1 inside WestKyo, while I brought Project Strawberry. But at around 9 PM, it decided that it didn't want to run well. Epic. Car starts up perfectly. The problem? Ticking noise around the valve cover. Seemed like a dead VTC Sprocket, so I called the meet off and went straight to WestKyo smh can't even pull a premium before Race Wars After that I just decided to meet up with them the day after instead. I went ahead and used C-REX though for reasons you will quickly realize. After the meet I went to meet someone who was selling his pair of OEM S15 hubs and knuckles. After inspecting the GOODS I paid him 16,000 yen (V$160) and off I popped. Although on the way I grabbed myself a pack of 10pc Chicken McNuggets at McDonald's before I sprinted the car to WestKyo. WORK TIME!Yeah so I guess the ole' SR just couldn't take the limiter bashing at Ebisu Nishi last week. Turning the boost up wasn't such a good idea either, probably. I broke 3 rocker arms, and the VTC cam sprocket was indeed due for an overhaul. Which means, YES. Project Strawberry Ichigo S15 will be out of commission for a few. At least until I get all the parts I need. I already ordered a new sprocket set with the o-rings and washers (V$334.45), 8 new OEM rocker arms (V$39.52 x 8 = V$316.16), Tomei Rocker Arm Stoppers (V$72), and Tomei .256 PonCams with 11.50mm Lift for intake and exhaust (V$342) all conveniently ordered from FRSport. While waiting for those parts I ordered, I decided to get to work on the suspension. Goodbye Wisefab, it was nice knowing ya. Got them factory hubs on, got the OEM brakes on too. Brake pads need replacing as well as the brake lines so I'll order ceramic pads and braided lines within the coming weeks. Back to OEM!Yeah that's where the S15 stands as of this writing. Moving on, S14 update! Back to OEM+!I managed to trade my Fortecs Squrossas in for this set of OEM R33 GT-R Stockies. Straight trade with tires, Pretty sweet imo. I also spray painted the rear bumper, looks a lot cleaner than the previous red it had that just did not match lolol. That's it for the S14. And now, for my latest acquisition. TOO SOON JUNIORYou guys may or may not have seen this car's prior cameos in some of my pics. I even got Rifky (Shez) to drive it during our docks photoshoot with some other peeps (read back if you don't know about it yet). I've been wanting a RWD Honda for a while now, and I finally caved. This one was just perfect, caught my eyes, my ears, my mind and my heart as soon as I saw it. Old pic from when I had just brought it home. Okay so details; This is a top grade 2001 Honda S2000 Type V (AP1). Factory Grand Prix White (Still super shiny), 131,100 km on the clock, sha ken until March of next year. Has the Type V goodies like the OEM Front Lip, OEM Trunk Lip, Variable Gear Ratio Steering (VGS), more responsive and firm shocks, better sway bars, and an LSD. Price, you say? 1,280,000 yen (V$12,800) which isn't really cheap, but is worth every penny considering how pristine this amazing machine is. Under the hood is the OG AP1 F20C that revs all the way up to 9K RPMs!! Makes 247 hp and 218 lb-ft from factory. On another note, those heads still look new! 2 previous owners, but both were said to have cared well for the car. Trunk carpeting looks almost brand new still! Tails are still shiny as well Everything on the interior is FRESH TO DEATH. A/C is COLD AF, gear shifts are super crisp, and the LOVELY digital dash works perfect still. Such a dream to drive, dealer maintained according to the records. Honda, The Power Of Dreams. So yeah, that's my new S2Kool for ya. Can't wait to tinker with this thing and unravel its potential! HMMMMMMMM Thanks you mah dud! If I hadn't jumped on the purchase I would probably have regretted it in the future haha # BigSmoke : Well in case AJ wants to be E X T R A C H I L L ~ Thank you! It'll probably be a street car I'll be tracking because I have the Strawberry to thrash at drift events OHHHH NOB's S15 is my inspo <3 Will probably get a Vertex Lang Kit down the line # Lagano : I was wondering who had shown up with that S2000 when we met with our drift cars at the docks! Nice new ride, wasn't cheap (as most of S2000's) but this one looks like new! Keep it clean yo. Also i hope you will get the S15 running again soon! YAP Rifky and I pulled a S N E A K Y on you haha. Hoping to keep this car as clean as possible! And yeah I wanna get it running already! # Sleepin mOnkey : thats a clean s2k congrats man Thanks man Added 1 hour 36 minutes later: UPDATE UPDATE UPDATEBorrowed my friend's Work Emotion XT7s that he had on his S13 and threw them on the daily FC1, not bad at all but I might change back to the TC3s. As soon as I got off work I went straight to WestKyo because I got a call saying MY PARTS HAVE ARRIVED AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA Another productive week YEET. Got the VTC Sprocket and the respective parts that come with it installed. Apart from that, I threw in the 8 new Rocker Arms in place of the ones I YEETED, got the Tomei Rocker Arm Stoppers in to prevent breaking those damn rocker arms, and Tomei .256 and 11.50mm PonCams. Then I threw the valve cover back on Finished! Initial Impressions: Idle is raspier than usual, but nothing over the top wild. No more VTC tick, and revs smoothly. Steering feels more tactile then when it had the WiseFab. I decided to a little shakedown of the car at my nearby touge. HERE WE GO, ATTACK!Let's G O ! Angle is perfect, and the knuckles provide more road feedback over all. PERFECT FOR THE STREETS. <3 SLIDE TIMENot as much lock as the previous setup but YAP ish GEWD. Power is MUCH smoother. The engine feels lighter and angrier thanks to the refreshed valvetrain and camtrain. LOVE IT. YEAP, HUGE improvement. And yeah, I was out one afternoon for gym and when I came back, a friendly young fella approached me, an avid Honda lover. I told him about the car, its mods and its histroy, and long story short he offered me 1,300,000 yen (V$13,000). Still not sure if I'm ready to sell it but anything can happen. MEETERINOHere's a s m o l update from ya boi. Lowered the rears on the S14 by an inch to eliminate the rake, since the tires on the R33s are slimmer than the ones on those Gram Lights 57Cs, I can confidently run this setup without rubbing the paint off of the arches. We be sittin' pretty over here in this hoopty. <3 Of course this car was never just for sittin' pretty, but for slidin' nasty as well. No issues and still drifts likes a dream! The skinnier tires also made it easier for the RB25DET to lose traction C L U T C H . K I C K ! ! And to follow through on that S14 intensity I took the S15 out 2 days after to further assess the issues it may or may not be having, thank God the pain was over, she RIPS and she goes HARD. Project Ichigo is BACK. And to celebrate I called a few of my friends to meet-up and compare notes. 1. Konami - S15 Silvia Varietta - Bomex Aero - SR20DE+T - Work Meister L1 2. Jack - RHS13 240SX SE Fastback - Sil80 + OEM Aero - KA24DE+T sourced from an MS13 240SX SE Coupe - Work Meister M1 3. Al - EF9 Civic SiR - OEM Aero + OsakaJDM Goodies - B16B - Work Meister CR01 Konami wasn't able to go because unfortunately he didn't have enough time to get his S15 running (limp mode + dead O2 Sensor), but the rest got to attend. Epic Notes Comparison Fun 良い時代Finances: |

# jdmkvng : s15 out again, sick stuff Yap, finally! Thanks man haha Added 69 minutes later: END OF AN ERASOLD! Goodbye C-REX, I'll miss you, very very much. But it's time to move forward. I know that you're in good hands. And you'll be safe. Be good to your new family. And to your playmate/brother, JZA80. Welp, yeah. That's that. Time to move on to bigger and better things, although I admit it'll be hard to match the caliber of tuning and attention-to-detail the CR-X has set. And at an agreed price of 1,550,000 yen (V$15,500), the sale was a win-win for both of us. Anyway, Yuan (BigSmoke) and Shez (Rifky) are at WestKyo for the Holidays! Some good times were had, more on BigSmoke's RP so check that out ASAP! After delivering C-REX to its rightful new owner, I rode inside Jack's RHS13 (for which he got some new TE37s just last week!), and told him to drop me off at VStanced Garage, where Yuan would pick me up and take me to WestKyo. YAP, there it was, Yuan's CE9A! The morning after I invited him to go out with our cars for breakfast. Sitting on HKS Hipermax Coilovers, Endless Brakes, and Wedssport TC105Ns, this car was no slouch. PURE FUNCTION, all down to the Bride Seats. On the way back, with him in his Evo III RS and me in my S15, something that was surely not of good nature happened. No we didn't crash, it didn't have anything to do with Yuan and his car. Where am I? OOFI was at the shoulder of the bridge because my car started acting up. Misfiring like crazy, no power, and a loud noise coming from the turbo, at that point I knew it wasn't just a simple boost leak. With this in mind, I very carefully limped it over back to WestKyo. After a closer look, it has come to my attention that I now have an S15 SR20DET with a blown T28 Ball Bearing Turbo. Well, those bearings aren't really of much use anymore since there's a LOT of turbine play, and oil too. # Macaron_Moon : Mate maybe someone with superpowers telling you to build a better SR20 And that someone is YOU # BigSmoke : Maximum F for your turbo and the Strawberry man Thanks man, and yeah we had some real good FUN! We should go to Tsukuba!! # Smurf : Damn dude, crazy to see how far you've come from just a couple of Hondas. Haha I can hardly believe it myself, you've gone a long long way too man! # Soju : Sad to see the C-Rex go, but welcome to the Supra fam! Yeah, I'm still sad! And the Supra isn't mine, it belongs to C-REX's new owner! # DEADMANE : Sounds like someone needs to go bigger GO BIG OR GO HOME DAWG # jdmkvng : Sad to see the CRX go Same, YES MOAR BYOOSTERINOS Added 40 minutes later: PROGRESS!I've been doing some shit. Been busy but here's an update to catch you guys up. Changed the oil on the S2K. Runs a bit better now but I still need new plugs and filters. Those coming soon! FC1 is now rolling on a set of new TE37s! I kind of got tired of the old look on TC3s so I decided to switch it up. I got a solid deal on these, V$1,900 for a set of slightly used 4 18x8.5 +30s with 90% tread life 225/45/18 Michelin Pilot Sport 4s at Craft Suzuka! S14 has no updates because it's a reliable car! I just keep driving it haha, good vibes and a smile on my face every time I take it out. And now the main attraction, Project Ichigo Update!I had the front bumper off, then I dismantled the intercooler piping as well as the FMIC per se, and I took the ded turbski off. Why so soon? You probably already know why! We got the GOODS. I then unboxed the Tomei package and test fitted my new V$1,580 potato I bought off of Tomei HQ! Inside the Nismo box I have a 4.1L/min Nismo Fuel Pump for 45,000 yen (V$450) shipped and a Nismo Fuel Pressure Regulator for 13,000 yen (V$130) shipped, all from Nengun. BUT, those Nismo parts will be on in the next update. Stay tuned! TOMEI ARMS M8270!Finances: This post was edited by RocketBunnyS13 (2019-01-13 18:27, ago) |
