A lot has happened in these past week... Starting the update off with the S13.THE DREADED S13So as you may remember, i said a few updates ago that i was gonna soon take it out to Ebisu/Maze. Well, i kept my word. Or at least i tried to. I decided, like everyone else would, to do a full nut and bolt check of the car early morning before taking to the track. And with that boltcheck, i decided to randomly compression test the engine. THATS WHERE THINGS GOT HAIRYCYLINDER 4. LOW COMPRESSO. ES NO BUENO.The last time i comp tested this engine was when it was in my S14. at the time it was fine. IDIOT ME FORGOT TO TEST AGAIN BEFORE SLAPPING MODS ON IT BECAUSE ALL THATS IN MY HEAD WAS ITS A WORKING ENGINE SMH.Welp, ofc i didnt take it to the track anyways. Cuz i'll just get myself into trouble if the engine fails completely. Which is quite inevitable. That day over lunch tho, During a serious discussion and no jokes involved, at all, Marc (Macaron_Moon), being the good sport that he is, and being the only person around us with proper Mechanical engineering knowledge, told me to marc his words (HAHA I CAN PUN TOO OK AJ) that he'd build the S13 again, from GROUND UP. talking a whole different look, fully refreshed engine, refreshed suspension and so on. Well, OFC I DIDNT DENY. This time, we're gonna take our time with it and build it to proper high standards. Leaving no nut or bolt untouched. Well thats the plan at least. If things work out properly, it'll be done sooner.Thats that for this car then. Here it sits, awaiting to be rebuiltnext day...
BACK ON THE WAGONNot much has changed on it yet. Apart from the rear bumper! Found a good deal at a Do-Luck rear bumper and pulled the trigger. LOOKS HEAPS BETTER THAN THE PREVIOUS BUMPERAlmost time for its first shakedown somewhere. Jk, IT IS TIME. since i failed to take the S13 to a track the day before, i decided to take the wagon, the automatic, stock suspension wagon, TO TSUKUBA. After a nut and bolt check, and a quick oil change, i set of for the iconic track. Hoping i dont have so much bodyroll that i literally tip the car over*an hour of driving, and 30mins of paperwork later*
WE IN BOISAfter a warmup lap, i decided to open up the taps. Lets see what this thing in all its 260ps and automatic trans can doHalfway in on the first proper lap, the bodyroll wasnt as bad as i was expecting. THE TRANSMISSION HOWEVER, FOR SOME REASON FELT SLUGGISH. Maybe just because im not used to track driving older automatic cars. but yeah, THING NEEDS A MANUAL. Desperately trying to hold off until im done the supra (more on that in a bit)All in all, the bodyroll wasnt as bad like i said, but its still there. SOO to basically be fun to drive, this car NEEDS a manual swap and new suspension. Engine felt pretty okay. a bit low on power, but that'll be dealt with soon hopefully. The times? well i topped out at a solid 1:13.48! not bad for a stock CT9W i'd say but upto you to decide. |

The Merc and the Evo Wagon is lovely! IMO Mitsu wagons such as the Evo Wagon and Legnum are quite a unicorn amongst Mitsubishis (along with the Starion). Also, any mod plans for the Merc?

Looks like a super fun base to work withThanks man! Indeed so far, proving to be really fun! your civic is much more badass tho Added 3 minutes later: Starting off with the Supra, on my last update about it i mentioned that some parts were still to come. Well they're finally here over this past week! An HKS front mount intercooler with custom piping. Had the pipes made by a local garage where i have some friends. Cuz yo boi here doesnt know jackshit about welding. A skill that i'll have to learn really soon haha. Then we have a TiAL 50mm blowoff valve. Honestly at first wanted to go with no BOV becuase SUTUTUTUT...But well, played it a bit safe i guess. Then again, this engine will see some high action usage so better to be safe lmao. Then theres HKS 264in camshafts, with HKS cam gears. Such an important part to get to the power goal i have. And ofc, the vast improvement on idling sounds haha. More on the Valvetrain, We got HKS Rocker arms, Tomei valve springs, and a new Tomei Head Gasket. Up next we have (OH MY GOD THIS IS A HUGE ASS PARTS LIST) EXEDY Stage 2 Clutch kit. Been an Exedy user for a while now, love their quality so yeah it was the only logical option to me. And it being a stage 2, it can handle the power goals that i have. Only one thing remains now. A new ECU ofc. cant run all this on a stock 1JZ ECU lmao. gonna be getting |

Ah, well been gone for almost a week now i think. But yeah gotta say, Osaka kept me quite busy lmao. Mostly on the Supra. Which may i say, got a SHIT TON of progress. So yeah, buckle up for a update which is mostly a supra photobomb. Im gonna cover up all the work shenanigans in Mackays place. As for all the Fun stuff we did, and we did have a LOT of fun, keep an eye on my buddy Macarons update soon! A barbecue, Getting drunk to shit, and So much more!So uh, yeah, a lotta stuff did get done on my beloved supra over this week. The first thing i did on it after a day of rest upon reaching Osaka,NEW WHEEL SETUPSuspension adjusted a bit, wheels put on, and lowered down. Here we are guys, 18" Volk TE37's for the Supra!!Bought em used, in good condition from a guy selling em 20mins away from mackays place. Didnt have tyres mounted initially, but the prev owner had the courtesy to give the whole set a full wash and cleanse, and then i got some fresh bridgestone potenza's from a local parts store. 285's up front, 295's in the rear. Mounted em right with mackays tire mounter!prev owner initially asked about 2500 for the wheels, but well, managed to barge it down to 2300. Bargaining is what i do XDDDDD Bought em, dropped em off at the garage, then got the potenzas for 1000$ all in all. 3300V$ is quite a bit for a wheel setup, but well, sacrifices.Right next to my Supra tho, Mackay's mostly OEM, yet BEAUTIFUL BMW M4!Gotta say, i've loved the M4 F82 since it came out. People call it the worst sounding M car, but really i dont mind it. just the looks, the power, ofc the german engineering, it all compensates easily! and the pearl white mackays car is in, with the Fifteen52's, its just a BLESSING to the eyes. for me at least!Later on we went on a little McDonalds trip. Me and Erwin rode in the backseat of the M4. Mackay's wife drove and he was riding shotgun. You'll see that in Macaron's, or AJ's threadLater on, it was time to actually progress on the supra. My goal apart from getting it caged, was to get it running here. While Mackay started preparing the tubes for it, i disassembled the cylinder head fully. And cleaned it as far as i could.AJ pulled C-REX in on the the lift to check underneath for any gremlins. |

Yeah, what a week we had man, I am more than sure that you had great time and even learned few things in the process, I hope that such welding "lessons" will turn out to be useful next time you need to fab something up quickly. Working on the Supra was a pleasure, for real, I had such a great time with you around, somehow anything we build in my garage tends to be like this, we work all day till the night and sometimes even through the night, but with great company everything is possible. Supra is turning out amazing, TE37's, roll-cage and everything else that you can imagine, even tho it is far from finished I can't wait to drive along it on the expressway as I already see few similarities with my GTR', maybe cause it is black, it is a beast and it is on TE's haha! Feel free to come back whenever you want man, you guys got yourself a go to place here in Osaka.
Oh.. I can't wait to see those stickers on your cars haha! Can't wait for other guys updates, AJ and Marc were all around the place too and the things they did is just as interesting, can't wait! ♥ |

Ahh man , what a great time all of us had ! It was incredibly fun hanging out with everybody , but most importantly , you got the Supra running ! Ahh I'm so happy about that ! I really wonder how much power it'll put down , after all , it's got 295s on the rear , and if you ask me , thats a fuckton of meat on them tires haha ! That reminds me... I ran 295s on my GTST back when I had it and oh man it was gripping amazingly ! Hopefully it'll be enough grip for that 1J , cuz you never know how much it'll actually put down on the dyno haha ! But yeah man , the Supra is so goddamn sick ! The fresh new TE's look awesome , and once again , the TRD seats ! I'm obsessed with seats and oh man .... having such rare seats definitely gives you a crapton of cool points ! Haha ! But yeah , I've had an awesome time with you and the other guys , and it was such a pleasure to work on your Supra ! I wish I was there when you guys managed to get it running , but oh well , the sake I've drank that day had quite an effect on me lmao ! But yeah man , this little meet-up was an awesome experience and I really want to re-live it sometime , what do you think haha ? Anyways , if you ever need help or a place to hang out , you know who to hit up ! See ya around , bro !

You've acquired quite some knowledge throughout the time, and it clearly shows! But then again, Local neighborhood Mechanical Engineer MARC will be tuning it soon, along with some FaceTiming with you and Mackay, it really is unpredictable how much this thing will put down XD It after all retains the stock pistons, but then again, depending on tuning, people have achieved 800+ hp! ON STOCK INTERNALS! I'll not even get close to that because ofc, wangan blastin' and i dont want to blow it up then and there XDDDD but yeah, Waiting patiently till its tuning time! Yeah you did a good call on not being at the garage on drunk mode lmfao. inb4 "instructions unclear, pinky stuck inside turbocharger" XDDDDDDD but yeah man, like i just told Mackay, this one helluva week! and i'd sure love to come back sometime soon, with the Supra complete! DIS BOI FINALLY OUT OF SCHOOL! You're moving up in the world yo. I'm pretty glad Marc got the S13, I still really wanna see an S13 around, plus I wanna keep the S13, S14, S15 trio we got going on in the garage. I think it's indeed a good decision for you to let go of a couple of cars, it'll help you manage your build concentration.

Another of the few remaining steps closer to getting the Supra Wangan ready, new suspension components. With the speed goals im intending to achieve, 25+ year old suspension components was basically death lmao. So yeah, trip to some acquainted UpGarages got me some real good deals on Cusco control arms for all sides, Nagisa Auto tie rods and ends, Some good Polyurethane bushings to replace, TRD Swaybar kit, and ofc some spare grease and other handy things. All done for just 2350V$! took me almost a whole day to get all this stuff installed. And a lot of coffee. And AJ helping me every now and then.SUSPENSION BALANCED!Moving on to the merc, i had it listed on some online classifieds a few days ago. where i applied a common trick. i was looking for about 6000V$ for it, So i listed it at 6500V$, so in case people bargain, i still can get what i wanted. plus 6500 wasnt a bad price too comparitively. Got a call from a gentleman from Odaiba about a day or so later, who was willing to buy the car. Weirdly enough, he didnt bargain. At all. He seemed happy with how the car was priced and how it sat.He came to look at it the day after, he's an older person and i could see why he's buying an S-class. But yeah, he didnt change his mind, and i made 500 extra bucks out of the S-class lmao.Goodbye then. You've been a good daily.the next day...AND NOW, the "refresh" i was talking about on my last update, which i did no further ado in accomplishing. with winter coming right up, and all my cars being sold, i needed something thats rather comfy, but sporty too. And most importantly, something i can drop my heart and soul in to just like i did on the Supra, except this time achieving the perfect balance between street and track. i had a few options at hand but this is what it comes down to in the end.E U R O B O IFELLAS, SAY HELLO TO MIKA! MY VERY OWN 2003 BMW E46 M3!these pics are from a quick burger king stop on the way back from Narita, after picking Mika-chan up. also sent these photos on that spot to AJ and Marc to twist their spines a bit before i actually arrive back at the garage lmao.So yeah. 2003 E46 M3. Manual, OEM Phoneix Yellow Metallic, 98XXX km's on the clock. ONE ON MY BUCKETLIST TO OWN FOR A LONG TIME NOW! so happy i finally have the pleasure! its bone stock inside and out apart from the wheelsWhich in fact are 18" Work Emotion M8R's, wrapped in some rather fresh 245/25r18 Continentals.Interior-wise, its pretty damn clean as many post 2000s BMWs would be. everything mostly works. the seats have some visible wear and tear but no biggie. And its decently comfortable tooAnd ofc, under the hood, The no-short-of MAGNIFICENT 3.2L straight 6!THE PRESTIGIOUS BADGING(lmao)Driving it down from Narita constantly kept reminding me how much of a right choice i made. Its comfy, the engine is smooth as silk to this date, and ofc packing 343Hp (about 280 to the wheels), its no slouch at all. Not to mention the well set up OEM suspension. And the person i bought it from, Mr. Niklas, Was a German gentleman who moved to Narita about 2 years ago. He had to sell this car pretty urgently for some family matters back home, which i didnt ask about. The car itself was bought by him around the same time he moved here with about 48k miles on the clock. It was well taken care of, and overall just a GOOD BUY! And Now that i have Mika, i want to take my time with her. im fairly confident she wont let me down anytime soon. With the Supra almost done, and now a good base for a PERFECT balanced track build, ngl i do feel better replacing 2 cars with 1. As for drifting now that my S13 is sold, i dont really want to quit it before even properly starting it yet. hmmmm i'll deal with that pretty soon too hopefullyThats that for now. As always, thank you for stopping by! Hope you like Mika-chan as much as i do!Added 1 minute later: # Macaron_Moon : Congrats on graduating, I see that you liked the wing. Anyways, from now on you're free to do whatever you want. Can not thank y'all enough for that wing! Thanks my man. Guide me on my adventures, senpai Added 2 minutes later: # BigSmoke : Whoop congrats on the graduation man! Ayeee thanks man! Hmmmmmm if it comes down to STi, bet Marc can help me lmao damn im sorry you couldnt see it. But hey, just come down to the garage whenever you are able to! Still got some probable good cars you may wanna see Added 2 minutes later: # RocketBunnyS13 : DIS BOI FINALLY OUT OF SCHOOL! I cant flippin believe i am moving up lmao. And yeah i appreciate Marc getting it as well! Smh my old cars turn up at our own garage somehow XD but yeah, narrowing down to 2 (or is it three hmmmmmmm) cars currently should help me concentrate on things better now! YES VANOS CAR Added 57 seconds later: # marcus915 : that merc looks like such a good ass daily holy shit! Also, congrats on your graduationMan it indeed was a great daily. Sad i wasnt fit to maintain it yet And thanks man! appreciated This post was edited by Niatross (2019-01-19 22:09, ago) |

Yo nice find! An E46 M3 should be a bucket list car for anyone who grew up playing Most Wanted. Phoenix Yellow is a hard color to find too.

I agree with Smurfie here, people rarely buy E46s in Phoenix Yellow. Quite a fresh one too you got there, wise choice!

I LOVE YOU ♥
CSL' bodykit when??? Rear subframe reinformecement and upgrade when??? Rollbar when??? Ah man, I am happy that you bought an E46' even tho I am not big fan of fortysix look, but I was thinking of getting one after I sold my Altezza two years ago and before I got my M4' just to use it as a track toy, but I turned my plans around instantly when right E36' popped up for sale. Damn man, you better don't disappoint me and build it correctly and I am sure that you will do it right! Can't wait to see this build take off, I can tell that hanging out in my shop around BMW's got you feeling some kind of way too haha! Also congrats on your current life situation, everything is gooood my man! |

....DRIFT DAY!Y'know, it was starting to get a bit annoying how i've been in Japan for a while now and didnt get to go drifting with friends. With the tough luck i had on my recently sold S13, i had the itch to drift again cuz its been a while. And thats where good ol' AJ (rocketbunnyS13) came in clutch! i brought it up over lunch a few days back, and this man straight throws it out that he had no problem with me shredding his S14! YES, MY OWN OLD CAR! that got me beyond nostalgic and i couldn't really say no at all. I'd have to be careful ofc but thats a challenge i was willing to take.Informed Nightrunner and Lagano later that day, both of whom agreed to come along to Ebisu! So the next day, we got to the shop pretty bright and early to prepare the cars for the drive to Ebisu, and ofc the drifting itself.like i've already said, i was STOKED to get a feel for my old pride and joy again, except this time with a wholly different drivetrain. As u know the old 400+hp SR20 was gone, and now replaced with a barebones RB25DET. Aside from that and a rollcage, it still was pretty much the same car.AJ changed wheels to his Weds Cerberus II's that he recently traded with me, and we both did an all in all checkup of the cars.a few hours later...Arrived at Ebisu with AJ, to find Dominik and Lagano already waiting for us at the pits. Such Good lads even had the patience for our arrival xDCAR CHECK!Laganos S14. Fairly stock RB26DETT swap. Navan bodykit all around and his own livery, H&R coilovers, SSR Agle Strusse wheels up front, Gramlights T57 RC on the back, and much more.Nightrunners R34 GT-T. Mildly tuned RB25DET NEO, Work Emotion XT7s all around, Tein Flex Z coilovers.RocketbunnyS13s S15 Spec-R. Mildly tuned SR20DET VVT, Tein Super Drift Sideways Master coilovers, WISEFAB!And lastly, RocketbunnyS13s Silvia S14. Also a Mildly tuned RB25DET, tokico RAK coilovers, Gramlights 57Cs all around. After the usual chitchat and catching up with each other, we all set off for some solo laps. Warming the cars up, ourselves up, getting used to the track and what notDriving the S14 felt so similar, yet so different. It had much less power yes, but the powerband itself was just a whole other thing. the front also was gripping a tad better cuz of the weight of the RB25. But, nonetheless, i must say driving it was a LOT of fun. the suspension was still dialed in more or less how i set it up. i was probably the most noob person at the event with the least drift-time. so generally it took me a bit longer to get used to sliding again. But gradually after i did, we all met up at the pits again, and well,Lets get this breadyeah these laps were by far the most challenging, adrenaline filled ones of the day. i decided to be at the end of the pack cuz who knows what manuevre i'd mess up and then cause a pile up lmao. But nah i managed to keep my shit straight and not go extreme ham on AJs doorAfter about 2laps of all four of us maintaining the tandems, we eventually went back to the pits for a cooldown. And were greeted by a pleasant surprise! Why is a smol red Toyota Vitz a surprise, you may ask. Well, its actually the person that brought it. it was our friend Shez! Recently moved to Japan, but his cars arent here yet so he came by to watch the event, in a rented Vitz.Well here ends my coverage of the drift event. i guess you could say a "Part 2" will be up on AJs thread soon. including ofc, more drift shenanigans, Nightrunner destroying his fresh painted R34, giving Shez ride alongs, and more!Moving on to Mika. My E46 M3!Guess you could say the mods had sorta begun the DAY AFTER purchasing the car lmao. managed to scope a used, sanded down, non-badged CSL trunk from Super Autobacs. dunno how they had one in stock but they did yeah. bought it and sent it straight over to Bennys for a fresh coat of Phoenix Yellow Metallic. Came in day before yesterday, and just ported some of the badging and the trunk taillights over from the OEM trunk. Then theres the new full carbon fiber front lip, that had to be ordered straight from germany. took just over a week for shipping and came in yesterday. Had that fitted on as soon as it arrived at the garage!Maybe someday i'll convert to the CSL front bumper. But for now, i really dig how the front lip looks on the car. Maybe even as good as the CSL bumper would lmaoLastly, the new wheels. Well new to me. I sold the work emotion M8Rs that were on the car 3-4days after pruchase. they fitted the car well but simply werent my style. retained the lug pattern adapter and the tires, kept the car on jacks for a day, copped some Used but clean 18" Advan RGII's in gold! the M8Rs were 9j and so are the RGIIs, so i could transfer the continental tires over to itFINAL PRODUCT!As of now i really dont know if i should go a bit further and maybe do a livery for the car? or just leave it as is. but yeah, satisfied with how she sits now! (exterior-wise that is)Anyways, that'll be it for now. Thank you for stopping by!Added 51 seconds later: # RocketBunnyS13 : I've said it once and I'll say it again Thanks my man! indeed. Cars are just so much fun arent they <3 Added 1 minute later: # Smurf : Yo nice find! An E46 M3 should be a bucket list car for anyone who grew up playing Most Wanted. Phoenix Yellow is a hard color to find too. Indeed it is! ikr luck sorta helped for once And thanks! Added 1 minute later: # BigSmoke : I agree with Smurfie here, people rarely buy E46s in Phoenix Yellow. Quite a fresh one too you got there, wise choice! Ngl i prefer the Phoenix yellow over the other color choices on the M3. And thank yoo!! Added 4 minutes later: # MACKAY : I LOVE YOU ♥ RIGHT BACK AT YA ♥ subframe reinforcement is probably gonna be the first "performance" mod for this car. Rollbar? Hmmmmmmmmm we shall see is it already about time for another Osaka trip *cough* And the CSL kit, i plan to go all around CSL apart from the front bumper for now. Kinda wanna rep the simplistic front lip for a while OuO Yeah man, i'd agree the BMW influence got to me a bit. and i certainly hope i dont disappoint! And thanks my dude! hope all stays well! Added 1 minute later: # Nightrunner : Oh my god , mah boy is stepping up the g a m e ! Amazing progress on the Supra , it´s gonna be such a sick car when its done . Also congrats on you new car , Phoenix Yellow E46´s are really hard to find . Aye thanks lad!
