This didn't actually happen.
(Or if it did, hypothetically, it was someone else driving, in "Mexico", and the speedometer was reading too fast, and those traffic cars were ghosts... etc. ;) )


This did, though. I made it back to Nevada and took the GT-R for a "spin" (literally!) on the lot. I set the G-box in the car to RWD mode. The car wouldn't slide too well, but that's a good thing in my book; the car's road manners have been significantly better since the last round of tweaks I made to the suspension.

Halfway through, I hit a cone and decided to check to see if my bumper was cracked. It wasn't. I also took that opportunity to take off the helmet-mounted camera I had been using, and stick the camera onto the hood with a suction cup instead.
