Finally bought a replacement car, because the R33 is the opposite of "replaceable" and I wasn't super happy with the thought of leaving it sitting in parking lots.

Wouldn't you know it, the 2JZ bug bit again.

Here we have it... back to basics, if you can call a V$13,800 car basic.

It's a 1993 Toyota Supra, non-turbo, automatic. 164k miles on it, and yet still feeling pretty solid. Paint is in decent shape because it's a NorCal car; if it were an Arizona car like my old Supra was when I got it, I could have kissed the paint goodbye.

It's also a much more common pre-facelift model; the old car was a rarer post-facelift 1997. That said, I kind of think the "zenki" has charm; and I'm honestly just going to make myself sick if I draw comparisons to the old one all the time with this.

Took it to Scottsdale VS Garage late at night, after I got it registered. I also brought the BBS LM's, the brakes, and the suspension that the police recovered. Sadly, no chance that they could have gotten the engine back; it seems like all of the other components got shipped overseas or are otherwise in the wind. Too bad, but then again, might be fun to spend attention on this one. May have to be more budget conscious, though - my wallet is hurting!

Got it on the old wheels and brakes and suspension. At least I know that's all handled, giving me lots of room to work upward. I think I might leave it an automatic... it has its charms, and kind of makes the car more of a grand tourer. I can appreciate that.
