Well, the police found it.

The thieves took darn near everything. Engine, wheels, body parts, interior. They took my nice JDM steering wheel; the Recaro SL seats; every piece of body they could get off of it.

And, to cap it all off, the frame is a total write-off and will never be road-worthy again, because they wrecked the entire front of the engine bay trying to get the AeroCatch latches open - and, in the end, the cops say the thieves cut the frame instead.

The one bright spot in all of this is that the police recovered the brakes, wheels, and tires, and that the suspension stayed on the car. I don't know how they got it all back, but, I'm glad. Ironically, if I put those brakes on something else, that will be the third car the brakes have ended up on (the R33 was the first, originally).

I now have $20000 in car money (cash I had on hand, plus insurance payment - after I went and made sure my R33's coverage was up to snuff), my R33, and some loose Supra running gear.
