Hi. It's been long time since my last post in this forum. Last time I had S14 with 1JZ & S13 with RB26DET in quite big garage. Well, uh, I still have S14 that I can't use at the moment, but my other main things are gone. Sold the garage & apartment I lived in before & S13 I sold for spares, I still have several parts & stuff for sale.

Of course, as a petrolhead (not literally, thank god) I immediately needed a car to use... And work on in some cases. Friends laugh at me because I always get my hands on cars that need a lot work.

I moved to a bigger & nicer apartment, but it didn't have any garage with it. In desperate need of place to hug my vehicles at I bought a single garage in garage complex next to my new home.

Garage is much smaller, but atleast I have sort of private room outdoors, the other persons using other garages in complex are not active with their garages. God knows what is in it.

Anyway, as a big Volvo fan, I bought myself 242 with turbo & intercooler. It's my granduncle's old project that he couldn't finish. He restored bumpers, lights, interior & several other details, but as you can see chassis is the one he didn't manage to repair so far. I have a feeling suspension needs work too. It's not registered in here so far, just for fun I slapped Japanese plate on it.

Would've loved to buy the MKIV Supra but I'm low on money and have insufficient amount of space for another car at the moment.

I haven't really done much with the BRZ over the past couple of months. It's completed and I use it as my daily driver. However,I did upgrade to a Wilwood aftermarket Rotor+Caliper kit which works pretty damn nice.

I was looking after the MK.4 supra, and I found this....

An abadoned supra project with almost fully assembled BC 2jz engine. The owner said that it was going to be a trackday racing car, but after new suspension and engine it costed too much.

Been making some progress behind the scenes. Only got one pic of the car for now, but I've fitted a full six point rollcage, some Supermade fixed headlights, and I should have my wheels here soon. Gonnna drop off the car at Haku's to get some paint work done, then it's time to really enjoy this thing.

Also, I need to let go of one of my cars to make space. Thinking of parting out or selling the JZX100 Mark II.

Never really got done with the car, but just to see who would be interested in it.

@marcus915 Damn that S13 is looking good! it's coming along nicely!
@NothingToDo looks like a solid supra man! Got any plans for it? Wish I could afford one :P

PROJECT MX5: The Revival

So, started sanding the front end to, at some point, paint it to match the rest of the car but since I havent decided on a colour for the car
that is out of the picture at the moment. Would love to see it in in black and some flake to really set if off but we will see if my wallet
will allow me to do that :)

So here is the front left fender. I've only had the time to do this one for now but as soon as friday rolls along I'll finish this one and
begin on the rest of the front end. Might have something special planned for the hood. Just gotta figure it out :D :D :D

When I was in the working spirit I also got the valve cover painted. Went to autozone and picked up some high-temperature paint and
cracked open a jar of flake I had lying around. Gotta say it turned out pretty good IMO -

Went for a purple with some pink flake mixed into it. Let me know what u think. I think it´s nice since it gives the enginebay
some colour instead of being boring and dull. Unfortunately when I was mocking around in the enginebay I noticed
a leaking waterpump which suckz. So I got one ordered that will be coming with UPS in a week or two.

On top of all this I started looking for rims. Im kinda stuck between SSR meshes or a set of SSR Watanabe's.
Guess we will see as time goes and one of them grows on me :D

Isn't the ER34 sedan available in 25GT-FOUR trim (with AWD and an RB25DE)? Or was that just the coupe?

I thought the non-GTR AWD Skyline was usually based on the sedan. Like, I thought the R32 GTS-4 was a sedan, and so was the R33. Guess I was wrong about that.

Anyway, on topic:

FOR SALE $16K (no trades) - 2009 Pontiac G8

2009 Pontiac G8 Sedan (the V6 model). I'm the second owner. I purchased this a year ago as a project car because I was thinking I might import a Commodore Sportwagon and I'd need a left-hand-drive dash, but this car was too good to cut up in any way - plus, I need the funds for other projects. Asking for $16,000 even, no low-ball offers. Car is in very good mechanical shape, with new oil changes always on time. It also seems to have the Blaupunkt stereo system out of the GXP, although I don't know if that's a factory setup or a modification. Also has new, good quality brake pads and spark plugs. Everything else, as far as I can tell, is bone-stock. Would make a good daily driver, or a clean base for a project car.

3.6L V6, 255BHP stock, may be a small bit less now. Slightly high mileage - 63,000mi - but I'm told that this car was mostly used on highway commutes and that the engine runs like butter.

This is an AZ car, so you might want to take a look at the suspension bushings for normal wear-and-tear stuff that comes from lots of sun/heat exposure. No rust, though, and the paint is in great shape. The engine feels pretty good, despite the automatic transmission. I've been using this as an occasional daily; mileage is about 100mi higher than originally listed.
# stonedmonster : i have a g8 converted to pretty much a ve as it was cheaper than an actual ve its a sports wagon lots of dollars spent and ls3 if you would be interested in trade with a little cash my way
Thank you for the offer, but part of the reason I'm selling this is that I'm realizing that another project is the last thing I need. The Supra and the R33 are keeping me plenty busy. I have both cars dialed down to really non-aggressive boost settings for longevity, and even though the G8 V6 is certainly nicer on gas than either the GTR or the Supra, I'm managing alright with the two of them.
# dxg1997 : The title says no trades lol
Competitive much? :P
# stonedmonster : he said he wants what i have though it was just a offer as he said he was interested in a lhd ve sports wagon which is what i have pretty much built
Before I started tearing into the R33 GT-R for a second time, helping out with the shop's drift 2JZ ECR33, and getting the Supra built, I might have considered this. Then again, back then, I also had a G8 GXP with an LS7 that I sold, so the G8 V6 has been my second VE. I would have probably been keeping the V6 (and the G8 front end) if I built a Sportswagon, because I wanted a daily.

That said, if you want to unload the VE Sportswagon, I can hook you up with a couple of people who are in the market, including a few people who expressed interest in the GXP when I sold that.

Updates on the Camaro: I've relocated the battery into the trunk, installed a safety fuel cell, made a rollcage (Damn that was a pain in the ass), got some NASCAR rims, race tyres and I've made an exhaust out of some thick-ass pipes. I've installed some overfenders and cut out the regular ones. The LS3 sounds pretty badass :D

A couple of friends and I did some work on the S13 over the weekend. New brake shoes went in, as well as a rollcage and wheels. My interior is currently up for sale because I don't really have any use for it anymore since it's outside of the car. That'll be the rear seats, trunk carpet and finishers, floor carpets and hood carpets as well. Everything's up for $1300USD total..and I don't plan on separating anything. Check out the pictures-

Started off by taking out both of the front seats.

R.I.P Interior.

Test fitting the parts. I had to cut a hole in my dash for the front bars to fit properly.

Finished result after cutting the dash and bolting everything in.

And of course, the new wheels! Work Meisters. 17x8.5 -0 at the front, 17x9.5 -12.5 at the rear. No spacers.

I've found a drift supra with pretty decent bodykit on junkjard, so I've ripped parts and put them on mine.

It goes to paintshop tomorrow. Now it drives with a cylinder head cover borrowed from my friend, but I've bought a TRD part from Japan that will come in near time already. Other than that, gave her new seats and steering wheel, and tuned the suspension and engine

Now I am considering to buy a 1940 Ford coupe with MRsir suspension, since I saw one in the newspaper.

I have the set of custom rebarreled Work CR2P's from my Mark II if you want them. Pretty much brand new, $2500 for the set with four Dunlop Direzza tires with 95% tread all around.

So my 240SX ended up getting stolen when I was out at dinner with a friend. It's been a few days and nothing's been heard of it, so I'm assuming its gone for good. Really big blow, but I can only move on now. Looking at a few clean 240's i could snap up and rebuild.

The owners of the MR2 and the R34 in the January meet have each expressed interest in the wagon; MR2 guy is offering $38k USD on the condition that the car can be guaranteed to be US legal (he needs a daily driver), whereas R34 guy doesn't particularly care about that but has only told me to tell you he's offering $30k.

350Z guy wants the Ute badly, and he'll buy it off of you at any price.

So I decided to bite the bullet on one of my dream cars, and ended up buying an FD for %5000. Dude who owned it bought it, dropped the rotary and swapped an LS3 into it with a Sikky conversion kit (terrible decision). Put it on lowering springs, but otherwise a clean car. Definitely going to go a little wild with this car, have many mods planned.
