Hello.I'm dariws and I'm from Romania.
I'm 22;live in s small town;regular factory worker.

2 days ago,I've imported a 2002 Honda Integra DC5 Type R from Ireland.It got 192,000 kms,2.0 K20,manual 6 speed.Factory new look,owned by a non-smoker,huge fan of Type R.
Tomorrow I'll need to:
- get my provisional license plates(1 month use),before my final license plates that I'll get after the registration(15 may).
- get new oil, filters, serpentine belt & timing chain(a common thing here in Romania when you buy a used car).

Super clean engine bay:

:iagree: You could find a DC2 Type R anywhere in Europe, but DC5s are very rare there, right? Also did they make only RHD Type R's?

Haha, thanks man.The color it's the first thing that I liked at this car.

Thank you.

I don't think it's that hard to find one in Romania,or maybe I've got the first one(Type R at least).
And tbh I don't know if you can find a LHD of it.
Also I got 99 problems, but a RHD car on RHD roads ain't one.(Well, maybe the cops have something to say about this;will see) xD

EDIT: I just found one but it's an Acura RSX Type S: *LINK*

:confused2: So i guess there are only RHD DC5 Type R's, in Europe i would choose a DC2 cause i wouldn't have to import it but you'll surely stand out with your DC5! :)

I didn't even searched for one in Romania first;went directly to UK/Ireland sale sites.
After I bought it,and you posted here,I searched for one in Romania(as i said, only an Acurs RSX appeared). Also I just searched in Germany, and found some(only RHD): *LINK* , *LINK* , *LINK*
So yea,in EU you can easily find an imported one,but it seems that in Romania I may have the first one(atm at least).

That's really clean, are you sure you have to change oil and those things? :D And do you have any more plans for that engine?

I said in the first post,it's a common thing to do when you buy a used car here in Romania.
You change oil, filters, drive belt/chain and timing belt.Just to be sure and full aware of the car.
Romania is something like the junkyard of EU,so it's hard to find a good car that was well maintained, and if you manage to find one, trust me: you'd still change those things,as I said, just to be sure.
Atm i don't have any plans for the engine. After the registration I'll see.

So..

# dariws : Tomorrow I'll need to:

- get new oil, filters, serpentine belt & timing chain(a common thing here in Romania when you buy a used car).
I'll have to wait until Monday for the provisional plates, but still,I took it on a quick run around my neighbourhood. xD

Also,I've checked the brake pads and brake discs;they look pretty good to me.

Okay,I got my provisional number plates(1 month use;no need for 1 month;registering the car on May 15),and the only problem with them it's that we don't have sqare ones(provisional),and had to put the regular one on my rear bumper like a retard.

I was thinking today: K24 swap or this K20A with turbo kit?
Any suggestions?

Hello mothertruckers.
It's 2:00 AM and I'm so hyped right now,for 2 main reasons:
- I've managed to register the car sooner
- the BC Racing Coilovers arrived in 4 days which is just impossible for my country xD (like 20 minutes ago)
Tomorrow(well,in like 5 hours),the real fun begin.
Also,I've got something in my mind, after I'll install the coilovers. You will see.

Well,it's something between racing and kanjo style.Maybe I'll add more in time,or maybe I'll get bored with it and strip it down.

ADV.1 6.0(second-hand) + Toyo R888 semi-slick(new).

Second-hand but in perfect condition kevlar hood & trunk(bonus a free small spoiler).

I dunno about the rear spoiler, but for the moment it's okay.
