LIVE HOT DIE BOI

I did gentlemen the S15 is here, she's finally a legit citizen, she's legal boys!!!

(adding this new detail after some major research which I should have known earlier with vanity plates and the prices of letters and numbers on plates)

Now this didn't come cheap minus the registration tax, this plate cost me V$2,500 which is the most expensive thing on this car so far. About V$500 per letter or numeral.

Now I could've had the car registered in another state for less tax but that's way to much hassle, plus a Cali plate looks boss especially this sunset one.

And peep the Plate: L3G4L

The car is registered, insured it has MOT and is fully legal so I would have no problems, given the lengths I went into getting it legal I'm keeping this car for a while.

Now on to the mods.........absolutely nothing, well not nothing, I did get the interior reupholstered in beige synthetic leather:

Other than that the car is as stock as it gets, but that's about to change so "rubs hands like birdman"

Now unto the Golf.

It's resting in pieces, literally I spent days taking it apart and its currently sitting as a shell right now:

The car is in good shape just surface rust the car is structurally sound but I new running gear parts these shits are ancient, everything is out the engine the old suspension the interior, everything older than me was taken out, now I'm in the process of cleaning before doing anything else, this is turning slowly into an episode of the Assembler the length of time I'm taking with this.

But it'll be quite the passion project.

Lets go golfing

The build slowly takes shape on the Golf.

I was able to snag the four light grill and front and rear bumper from the GTI model and some seats from the MK6 Golf R fucking hell I had to get these from a wrecked R these new are V$14,000.00 that's a mint condition 180SX S13, pay no mind to the mesh rims they're just place holders, I'm inbetween getting a 5 lug conversion or sticking to 4 lug, what do you guys think ? the biggest size I think I can fit is 16" to 17"
any rim suggestions ?

I did spend a while cutting and re-adjusting the trim so I can get some extra width and it looks like shit now but it should look better when the car is one whole color:

I'm still looking for a good VR6 to buy since I'm not gonna overdo the power on this, just some minor fixes so I don't get any problems later on, have a long way to go though.

I did have a problem the C63, blew something on the freeway while I was on my way home from work and I'm assuming this is gonna cost me something fierce but I was expecting this, I've yet to get diagnosis on what happened so I hope to god it's nothing serious.

was lazy as fuck with this one

And onto the S15, basically nothing, nah, I just got a replacement Nardi wheel and new led lights to replace those Altezza look a likes.

And I have to say these look wayyyyyyy better.

I don't know if I want to change anything major on the car, it just looks so good stock :crying: Soju help me out here how do you do it ?

I guess the Golf will be one of those real rocket! I've heard the service fees of those Mercs are pain in the ass in the States tho.

About the OEM+ look, small wheels and meaty tires are one thing ;) I just prefer putting Nissan OEM wheels on Nissan cars

Damn man! You did the thing that I am thinking about for a while, I want to put M4 seats in my E36 too, just like you put new MK6 seats in yours, don't forget to send pics when it is all installed and shit, might push me to get modern seats too.

Ah, I hope Merc is alright too, even tho I am not experienced with V8's I am sure that Merc guys will diagnose all problems without problems. L3G4L is looks clean too, it came a long way since we put it in a container haha.

So the mk2 is getting a VR6 swap? I was thinking of the same thing for mine too but it ended up with a SR20 haha. You can keep it 4 lug and put some old school wheels on it!

Silvia already looks good even if it's pretty much stock so try to keep it that way! Maybe you could get a Nismo bodykit to keep the OEM+ look but make it a little more aggressive. How the hell did you manage to make it legal though? Especially California, i've heard that the laws are much more strict there compared to other states.

Can you source some R33 wheels for me ? I wanna try that look.

I mean I sat in M4 seats and they're comfortable as shit, I mean they are heavy but if you want to sacrifice some weight for comfort go for it, the Golf is gonna be a cruiser honestly nothing too hardcore this time, the Merc apparently has a completely fucked head gasket, chipped camshafts, not to mention the fluid filled engine mounts have been leaking, so I'm not to happy to see the bill on this, then again I haven't gotten car checked again since I bought it.

Clever ain't it ? L3G4L and I know right ? came an extremely long way, you have great taste my friend.

I have a Nismo kit I got with the car when I bought it with Mackay, I'll put it back on and try the look, in California you can register an Ox cart with an engine as long as it passes regulations and emissions here is one of the Hot Rod capitals man, have you seen the ridiculous whips here ? and getting the car legal was a bit of knowing someone who knows someone and a lot of paper work, the car was shipped through the importers the dealership I work with use they specialize in foreign cars and have done whats necessary to bring cars like this in legally so I didn't have much of a problem, the car passed emissions and passed the tests, the car is certified by the EPA so I would have no problem if cops get suspicious and stop me.

I floored it and its not what you think.

Now it's been a month since I've been working on the Golf and the biggest phase has been taken on, we hit the road and floored it.

Oh, you thought it ran ? Oh no bro's I mean I literally floored it, clever eh ?

The Golf has been bagged boys, and its not really complete as of yet I'm still calibrating the air suspension and wheel fitment, but how it sits is fucking mad, the car looks fit, most of the work done on the car has been mostly electrical, I relocated the battery and removed some of the old wiring to prepare to replace them.

I'm content with the reservoir and compressor placement.

And without further adieu the rims and the motor has arrived:

Re-barrelled BBS RS's these just bring back memories of my FRS honestly, now these have been put together with a couple of friends so I'm not to confident on the build quality, the mesh and barrelled lip are legit (peep FelgenFuchs.de) but I may drop them off to be rebuilt just to be sure.

Oh and the VR6 has arrived and shit, I'm gonna need a lot more on it actually since it's just a long block, right....this is gonna be fun.

New plan, make her THICC

I've made some improvements to the Golf over the weekend some new lights and er, a widebody kit.

Now I was scrolling through posts from Sema and saw that widebody Golfs are the new thing,

so why not follow the hype ?

So I bought myself a knock off FRP Pandem Styled widebody off ebay over the weekend, and boy I think I like where this is going:

If you can see the engine, its just being fitted for placement

The car looks wide as all hell, its about idk say 80mm wide and whats funny is that its still smaller in width than my C63 Merc, I was gonna go with the trim, but this is just better, I get more width, I could cut more off the body for even more low, and proper fitment, this is just going swell, the plan for the car however continues unchanged.

On to the extra bits, I did a bit of DIY on the lights, unlike the Corrado where you could buy projector headlights, with this you have to do it yourself, so I spent a few days, cutting and fitting these, now I'm not an electrician so I wasn't able to wire them properly because my friend who's helping me with my wiring wasn't available, so instead of waiting for him I did the install myself all he has to do is wire them up and we're good to go, what was just plug and play was the yellow tinted fogs and indicators.

The rear lights, just your typical clear and red I got from VW Heritage, I would have bought the LED ones but those were sadly out of stock, but these look mint regardless, I'm pretty happy with how this build is going honestly can't wait for it to be finished, so I'm taking my time and not rushing it, and if you're asking where are the doors....don't worry my friends you'll see.

Now on to the C63, I might as well trade in for a new one, now what happened was the car blew an engine management sensor presumably on the day it broke down since I didn't get a problem up to that point, basically the car was so confused about not knowing about itself it imploded, (that's a bit exaggerated) whats funny is I never once even got a engine failure light, I have chipped camshafts (need replacements), a new sensor and a remap, simple enough, but after getting the bill, I might as well sell them the car at this point, and ironically I am thinking about it, I took a test drive of a 2016 E63 S 4Matic recently and I am in love with this thing while internally crying on the service bill on this thing.

I may get it and put myself in a huge debt :crying:

I know I did tease the S15 update but I had something changed on it so I'll save that for another time.

Soju teachings

I'm slowly fighting the urge to go full out hot boi with the S15 for the past few months, I've never owned an S-Chassis that retained its stock form for long or any car for that matter, well that changed, the S15 is still untouched mechanically and er.. visually ?, since it came from Japan.

I'm not sure on visually since I had the Nismo front put back on along with the aftermarket bumper that came with the car, but as you can see the car is freshly kitted and most importantly resprayed:

the color is well its an OEM color but its something exotic, say Lamborghini ? the colour specifically is called Grigio Nimbus it's a glossy yet matte looking color, I went with it instead of the usual Nissan colour just for having something different, speaking of different the VS-XXs are in storage following the teachings of master Soju I got GTR rims, most specifically R33 GTR rims and my god it looks stunning honestly, I'm considering painting them black to offset the grey, but idk, the car looks, fucking stellar.

Kinda regretting spending money on the original Front and Rear since I should've just done this in the first place, but you live you spend money you learn, I'm honestly gonna have to buy another car to fuck with because I don't even want to touch this now.

Weekend Mishap

So I made a pact that I am not gonna touch the S15 for anything more than basic maintenance so its basically gonna be my JDM daily driver, but today, well I just bought me another car, (yup I'm honestly a lost cause at this point).

Yeah I just bought me an 1989 Mazda RX7 (FC) GL (basically N/A 13b)

Now as a typical car guy you buy cars and parts even though you don't need em, now I'm not saying I don't need it, I WANT IT, was on my way back home from lunch and spotted this beaut in this guy's driveway.

Now the little tale on this car, apparently was originally from Canada, RHD swapped and when it came here was registered in New York and now resides with the second owner in Santa Cruz, long story short he wanted to get rid of it and guess who came to take it off his hands, now the state of the car is a bit sketchy I mean, it runs but just slightly and looks great visually but mechanically I'm quite unsure about it whats worst I know jack shit about rotaries, but for V$3,500.00 its fucking worth it honestly.

( probably the most valid story for a car to be in a RP )

Now I'm both sad and excited since I spent money that was suppose to go into the Golf build, but since I am selling the C63 it shouldn't be a problem, but I am pumped for this, its a fricking FC RX7.

I'm not touching it till the Golf is finished so it'll probably be in the background around the garage or wherever I park it, I am going to see what needs changing and drop the car off at a specialist but nothing major is gonna be done till the Golf is finished.

But waking up to this now, is just beautiful.

GOLF WANG

The Mark II is coming along rather well, but it has a long way to go till its complete, but here's what's been done so far:

The car is out of my hands right now, I had to get a subframe fabricated, now there's swaps from the Mark III VR6 but I rather create something specific for this car, while that was being done I had the engine tore down and rebuilt with new peripherals, new pistons, rods, cams the lot, now that the car is being kept N/A, I need as much power I can pull out of this thing.

You might be like, "that's some weird ass colors man", well lemme explain, I'm going with the most famous colors ever put on a VW Golf, the Harley Quinn.

I'm getting the intake powdercoated (the current one is just a placeholder) and I bought some of the cover pieces to fully complete it, so prepare to see it in all its greatness soon.

I had the whole running gear rebuilt, going off the advice of the pros everything had to go I thought I could've kept some of the good parts, turns out they weren't as good as I thought they were, so bring forth, new upper lower control arms, new rear MK II GTI Subframe, new bushings the full works.

along with the entire build I got some stainless steel braided brake lines, 250mm Wilwood Discs and 4 pots all round with EBC performance pads, this is basically a full on restoration at this point, hell when the car is prepped for paint it'll basically be a new car, there is a lot going into this car, I am extremely eager to hit the road when its finished.

This is gonna bankrupt me, I swear to god, but it'll be worth it all when it's finished.

And while I'm spending money on one build, another car just magically just fails to work, make guess what it is ?

Guess again my friend, it's what you least expected.

# StratoWolf : Race car Golf?

More resto mod ?, euro cruiser ?, you know what its gonna be something sick and quick.

Role Reversal

The C63 has been sold to Mercedes Benz of Long Beach and I got 12 grand for it, I paid close to 20 grand for it, but honestly it's fair, money is money, I rather get money for it than spending a dumb amount to fix it.

Remember I mentioned another car is busted ? did you guess which one cracked ?

*Drumroll*

Ta da !!

The S15 has stopped working, started it a couple days ago on my way to work, huge turn over then *knock knock, clatter clatter, bang* just like that, now I've been expecting for the car to detonate because you know imported SRs are ticking time bombs, so I assume the rods are gone, and lifters are kaput, so this is in need for a rebuild, all my cars are just failing on me honestly and you know whats the sad part ?

I just bought these johnnies man, I just bought em, I even rolled the rear fenders for the deep dish to fit and I was gonna get the car balanced:

Oh these beautiful ass rims are 18' Chromed Garson Deep Ryugi's these are the hardest VIP rims ever imo and they, were expensive as shit to get my hands on, spent about y'know a lot like V$1,250.00 a lot, I didn't even get the rest of the caps but it looks even better without them honestly.

I failed the teachings of sensei Soju but the R33 and VS-XXs rims are my spares, I dunno I have a wheel addiction, could you blame me ?

To replace my daily chariot guess which car turned out to be the most reliable while also being known for being notoriously UN-reliable:

This motherfucker.

Now I'll admit I did some minor things, I took advantage of the holiday deals and bought some BC Racing coils from Enjuku, lowered it and that's about it, what ? I can't be seen in a monster truck.

Along with the drop, I yellow tinted the lights, and slapped a massive sticker on the windshield:

If you know where this is from, you a real one, now I have a plan for this car but it's not gonna be implemented until the Golf is done and now till the S15 is done or until I get another car and by that I mean a proper daily, like a Sentra or a Bora or some shit, now back to the plan; Rotary Drift car, massive wheels, outrageous paint and beat on like an abuse child (bit insensitive but accurate) now its gonna be costly and time consuming but I want to see it done, I am gonna part out the S13 thats in Japan to fund this build.
(basically sell the shell, wheels parts of the 240 and use the LS till the 13B is finished, heheehehheehe)

But for now its gonna be a lil beater.

Lets have some fun boys.

BUILD THE HYPE UP!!!

It's the end of the year gentlemen

Now lets cap off.

I have no driveable cars, at all, i've been actually ubering around the place to get where I want to go and its actually a nice change of pace, since most of the ubers are Tesla's I'm thinking of buying one.

Well as you know my S15 threw something so I'm in the process of rebuilding the old SR or replacing it entirely. I'm still thinking about that, if you have any suggestions I'm open, but for now she's just sitting in the yard with no heart, on to the RX7 now the 13B isn't broken, I just was real idle and took the car apart, and couldn't "ahem", put it...back together so the Dorito Engine is just sitting, being useless, but don't fret, I am going to get it built, it'll take a while but she shall be brapping soon.

For now the cars are just yard fodder at this point.

Oh did I mention I gave the FC some style points ? first off I finally went 5 lug, 4 lugs are cool but what I'm going with 5 lugs were the way to go, so the major mods were the lugs and new brake discs to go with em to start the cars new setup, I got some GTR (R34) rims and as the style goes, went capless, I also copped a NRG seat and a Vertex wheel just for a better driving feel, but I'm not gonna do much driving now am I ?, I kinda went a little wild with the stickers but come on when the car is (details for another time/details soon to come) she'll be sick as shit.

peep the hentai stickies, yeah I'm weird like that

The S15 is just y'know chilling, even when its basically a shell she still looks good.

Now I've been trying to pad the talk time but y'all knew it was coming and here it is.

I bought myself another Supra to be exact a 1995 Supra SZ in Deep Jewel Green, Yup.

And unlike most Supras, this one is a hunk of shit, like a real hunk of shit, now sit back and let me exposit on your asses.

This Supra is a salvage title which means I got it dirt fucking cheap, and how cheap you ask ? V$3,500.00. Amazing right ? but heres the catch, its a flood damage car and that basically means this car cannot be saved unless it's been totally rebuilt, now the extent of flood damage is unclear insurance agencies aren't gonna give all those details so its up to dummies like me to figure that out, but you know me, I'm always up for a challenge, now the car can get a new title but I need to have it title worthy so along with my other cars my 2019 is jammed packed with builds.

Look at how faded and dirty this thing is, I'm sorry you have to see it like this I didn't have time to clean it when it arrived, but I'm tearing it down so meh its no problem.

Well gentlemen I have a fuck ton of shit to do and boy am I stoked.

Good luck on restoring the Supra! Thankfully it looks like it's a clear water damage instead of salt water ones, seeing that it's still repairable
Still following the damn train since 1992
