Welcome to my RP
Hi! How's it going?
My name is Hamke a.k.a AbsurdaBeatz. Friends call me Zurda so yeah, we will go with that. I am a freelance music producer and yeah, I got lucky to work with some of my local "famous" rappers. That's how I got some money and I have decided to move to Japan. (How stereotypical huh?) After traveling expenses, buying my own little home with a 1 car garage, I have 20K V$ left. Anyway, since I was a little kid I was a big fan of Japanese cars such as Nissan, Toyota, Honda, Mitsubishi etc. Of course, drifting is my favorite sport so I decided that I'll search for a good and reliable drift car. As you might've guessed it...yes it's a Nissan 180SX with an SR20. As you can see, it's pretty stock, with stock Phase 2 rims and stock SR20 Red Top engine.
The car was owned by an older man who took care of the car. He decided to sell it because he wants to move to some other part of Japan and he doesn't need it anymore. Well, after getting the car I had to register it. Still waiting on the license plates, I think it will take a week or so for that to arrive.
Here are more pics of the car!

Hello, welcome to the community!
That's quite a lucky purchase, I've rarely seen any S-Chassis for that price that hasn't been drifted yet! Also, on which part of Japan do you live? A lot of people here are based on either Tokyo, Osaka or anywhere in Gunma. I myself live in Tsukuba (no, not exactly at the track but rather close to it) but currently spending the last of my holidays in Tokyo at the moment |

That's a nice find after all
Take a good care of it, since those pristine condition S13 chassis are getting rarer! |

Like Soju said, that is indeed a pretty nice find
180sx's continue to go higher in price cuz of the JDM tax and S13 silvias are already gone to like upwards of 7k! but yeah, waiting to see whatchu got up your sleeve for it! |

DUUUUUDE nice cop! Older men tend to sell their immaculate cars at UNBELIEVABLY low prices. Please don't hack it up haha, OEM+ ftw! But yeah good luck on the build.

Just a couple of pics of the car and progress update!
Okay, let me talk about the progress and future plans for this car.
I am planning to keep the car stock. It would be a shame to destroy it with mods, cutting panels and so on. The engine is in great condition. I had to change the oil, replace coolant and put a new battery in the car. Nothing was wrong with the aforementioned parts but this was just a precautionary measure Now for the pictures!

New shoes for the 180!
Well, since I am not a big fan of the original rims the came with the car, I was snooping around for 2 days to find original TYPE X rims for the 180.
Luckily, I was able to find a good set of rims for 50V$ each, without tires. Because the rims don't come with tires, I had to go get them. I decided to buy a brand new set of Yokohama tires.
YOKOHAMA® AVID TOURING-S They were a little bit expensive but it's worth it. And yeah, here's a pic of the engine bay!
The engine bay is really clean, aside from the little bit of surface rust on the exhaust manifold. But that's nothing serious! BTW, if someone has a Type X rear wing for sale, hmu! |

Keeping it nice and clean!
So as you know, my S13 is a really good car and it was really taken care of. But, for me, it was just too plain. My goal was to make the car as clean and as original as possible. I didn't really plan on making any serious mods on the car, but mainly classy and well thought of mods. So I decided to get a Type-X body kit. Now, because I don't wanna ruin the 180SX, I had to get something to destroy. And what's better to destroy than an already destroyed car! So the thing is that I heard from a friend that someone was selling his GT86 that was in an accident. I went to the guy's place to check the car out and to hear the details about the accident. He told me that his engine caught fire while he was driving it on a highway and that he lost the control of the car and hit the guards on the side of the road. As you can see, the car is almost just a shell from what's left of the accident. Also, as you can see the car is missing the engine and also the frame is bent. So the plan is to straighten the chassis as much as possible and make a tubular front end. As for the 180SX, the plan is to fit the Type-X when it gets here and paint the parts to make it look sexy and good af. (the finances will be done later this week when everything arrives that I ordered so far) |

Oh yeah, Type-X kit is an instant JDM seal of approval!
I'm really looking forward to it, would be awesome to see it ued as daily! Also what are you going to put inside the GT86? Since the stick FA20 engine is (literally) gone this would open an endless possibility of ideas |

Type-X
As you know the 180 got the Type-X treatment. I teased y'all a little bit with the information but I didn't provide any pics. Since I had to fit the bodykit on the car (because it's not an original kit).
And yes, the plates arrived so the car is now street legal!
The car had some rust issues so I had to fix some spots on the car. But it looks so good... The engine arrived for the GT86
So, you guys have asked me a lot what the engine for the 86 will be. I made the decision as soon as I saw the car. I wanted to make a full-blown drift car with a good and reliable, but also a powerful engine. It's here. I spent a lot on it. Can you guess what it is? |
