# Lagano : I see that you want a lot of engine upgrades for a drag car, so I can help you to get some parts! I know a shop in Tokyo that has all the things you'll need, it might not be cheap but it's surely the right choice for serious power. Man, that'll be great I'll hit you up with the details. # Phonexius : I dunno how long will it take you to finish it, but I know that in maximum 4 months my R33 should be back on the road so why not settle a drag race 5 months from today? Loser buys fuel for the winner? That's a cool wager I never saw a R33 in person let alone at full pace, you're on Phonexius. PART 1: Planning Stages (cont.)I'm coming closer to the list being complete so work can begin, I'm gonna have to take some time off work to see the build step by step, I'm leaving the job to the professionals, with the power I want this to make I don't want to cut any corners, this way my responsibilities won't prolong the build time. Mechanically I had a rethink, AWD , I've seen videos of these builds and they're monsters, few forums suggested using the 4G63's transmission or the CRV's transmission with the CRV's trans I will lose 6th gear, I have to look into the pricing before I make a final decision. Also "Fuck" the supercharger instant boost is one thing but "A LOT" of boost is where it's at, The turbo that I have in mind ? The Borgwarner 66mm S300SX 9180 anything bigger might kill me. I want to get the car built and tuned at Bisimoto Performance when it comes to fast Hondas they are the guys to go to. Let the shopping begin. |

PART 2: The Tear DownThis past Friday I was able to get the car into a shop to be worked on, last minute at that, I had the entire engine taken out to be worked one, so right now we're down to the bare block. I ordered these parts over the weekend: Skunk2 106MM 4340 Billet Crankshaft Wiseco K20 Pistons Brian Crower Performance Connecting Rods Pro TSX CNC Head with Skunk2 Valve Spring & Retainer Kit They are gonna be delivered on Friday so that's something to be happy about Now these cost me a dime and there are a lot more parts to be bought plus the labor going in to the build, Monkey the car will be gracing your garage soon. If I am able to complete my shopping list in time, the build is gonna be finished in about 5 months, a little later than the proposition of Phonexius' challenge. To be able to pay for this build I sold the E36 for V$10,000 pretty good to start to month with. To replace the Bimmer I bought this. 2000 Ford Mustang GTMILEAGE: 152,605 miles ENGINE: 4.6 Modular TRANSMISSION: Manual 5-Speed DRIVE TRAIN: RWD EXTERIOR COLOR: Gray INTERIOR COLOR: Black Since everybody's going to Arizona, I thought I'd get in some of that action and got this GT for a steal for V$4,500 I was gonna buy a 2005 GT but I wasn't too fond of ones for sale, and this was the best one I found which made the 10hr road trip worth it. Later I'll talk about what I'm gonna do with it, but it starts with "D" and something to do with hitting crowds ? For now that's basically it a new car and new parts, speaking of Lagano hmu with Shop info. |

REDUX# MyNameisJeff : are you making it a Drag car? You bet your ass I am. While the RSX is getting rebuilt to a full on street monster in the slowest way possible, I thought I'd rebuild and revisit an old friend, you guys remember my old GT86/FRS the young girl looking for acceptance in the culture ? Till she met me, she has changed a lot, and now in her third phase, I think the most wildest ride I've ever done. I didn't post about it due the RSX being the forefront of my attention. The Crazy 86(clever name where did I get from)I've finally did some major changes though costly have made the car better. "Bags and a straight pipe." Oh and the other accessories Like the 2016 GT86 Head Lights and the lovely Valenti Tail Lights and the TRD Louvres, Engine wise I got some custom longtube headers and a custom straight pipe exhaust and the most obnoxious one at that. On to the feet, Work Emitz I bought from Art of Wheel that I had painted white wrapped in some stretched Advan Neova AD07's this time they are in 18" so they give a more demanding presence, behind the front wheels I got some R34 Front Brembo Calipers on some 300mm Brembo Discs, I did the unorthodox thing and put the stock front brakes in the back. An AirLift kit. And finally the color; the inspiration for this color came from another FRS owner and the fact I have FUTURE,HNDRXX on repeat, plus I loved the plum crazy Challenger of the 70's so that was a thing. I think I spent more than I should have. Cough...Not to mention I bought a Bape Hoodie Recently Cough.... # Driftphantom : That is awesome can't wait to see that result! Well bud here's the result of stupid spending. I give you the car version of a Hypebeast. At this rate I would have to keep the SN95 stock This post was edited by Crazy Eighty Eight (2017-04-13 15:05, ago) |

Back to BusinessI've shown love to my FRS, now gotta show love to my Mustang, but first let's talk about the drag build. So what's been done ? Mostly I took delivery of: Skunk 2 Stage 3 K20/K24 Camshafts A New Timing Chain InlinePro's Timing Chain Tensioner Cometic K-series Head Gaskets InlinePro 8740 Main Studs P2R Exhaust Manifold Gasket Sheepey Inc. K Series Sidewinder Turbo Manifold Garrett GTX3076R GEN II Turbo Tial MV-S Wastegate and finally an intake from Hayward Performance. Yup a lot of parts. And I have a few more I need to order, plus a new ECU. Everything listed has been put together and soon this baby "will see some serious shit" So it's slowly coming along, and Phonexius the day is coming near. Besides the massive project. I did spring some body and suspension mods for my Steed. The Saleen Extreme S281 (SN95) body kit, No not the real one those are expensive, but I was able to get Duraflex's take on it, since they don't make it anymore it took me a while to find one for sale. I was only able to get the front bumper and the hood, I'm still in negotiations with a seller on the side skirts and rear bumper. When I get them all, it's gonna look mean. To back up the looks I'm gonna throw in a twin turbo kit instead of the usual supercharger, it's not a Terminator so it'll be a little different. For the suspension I got BC Racing's BR Series Coilovers, I was gonna set this car up for drifting but I'm keeping it on the road with the money I'm putting into the RSX and this, thrashing around and spending money on tires will subsequently make me broke, I'm gonna take a break from the drift life for a while and just stick to straight roads and crowds. I'll do my finances in the next post. This post was edited by Crazy Eighty Eight (2017-04-19 21:17, ago) |

# soju357 : Damn, I love your SN95 You should come to the US and give her a rip, embrace the Murica!! # Lagano : That bodykit is mean indeed, your Stang will look even meaner with some rims to match! Got any suggestions ? 60% LeftMan this build is going quicker than expected, and this is good timewise, moneywise .....FUCK NO....... I spent almost V$7,629 on the FRS/GT86 alone which has burned a huge hole in my pocket, now the final stages of the RSX are being put in place which is a relief meaning I can financially recover. (laziest edit ever) Although it was an expensive makeover gotta keep my bitch clean. The motor has been placed back into car and everything fits where it's suppose to, I even added a sticker that sums up my situation nicely. I am excited asf for this build to finally be done with, I miss driving her . Now I'm too tired to list every single detail of what was done, but I will put the new list of parts I've purchased. Now on to the mighty steed.I finally talked the seller into dropping a few hunnids on the Saleen Side Skirts and Rear which is awesome. I got the whole kit on now and all that goes off in my head is.. YOU FUCKING RICERRRRR!!!!!! Now all I need is to add some power to this pony and make her fucking gallop. You guys digging it ? The Mustang is mostly just gonna get boosted, painted and get some rims and brakes, the suspension has already been dealt with, since I bought some coilovers, what I'm going for with this is just a fast daily driver so I'm not gonna over do it. Now on to my financial situation: |

Digging that Stang for sure! For the wheels i would suggest some bigger 5 spokes like on the Saleen, or maybe even wheels from a GT500 Super Snake.
Also nice progress with your RSX, when you and Phonexius finish your builds i'll be at that drag race with my SC300!

Going along smoothlyThe DC5 build is coming along slowly but surely. This was it's state before it was stripped down. The engine was taken out again, only being there to make sure the modifications fit. Now the engine has been built to push over XXX horsepower but the chassis needs some stiffening before the car can achieve high speeds, the DC5 was built to reach speeds of 145-150 MPH, I'm getting the transmission rebuilt to handle the torque and horsepower with a longer gearing to hit speeds of 190-200 MPH. I want to keep as much interior parts as possible and not go full extreme race car. I'm not gonna talk about the engine but I am going to talk about the suspension and other parts that have been added. So Whats New !Beaks Lower Tie Bar / Blox Lower Control Arms Combo Omni Power Drag Coilover Package (Stage II) (4) Red Wilwood 4 Piston Brake Calipers and Disc Kit Chargespeed Zenki Front Bumper JUN Carbon Fiber Hood NRG Acura Integra Type-R (DC5) Front Seats Cusco Roll Cage Haltech Elite 550 Aeromotive Phantom Flex Fuel System StopTech Stainless Steel Braided Brake Lines (2) Lenso VPD 18x10 + Hoosier Street Radials Js Racing Titanium Exhaust Custom Exhaust Piping Now that is a fucking list, only a few more weeks of prep and you guys should see this beast prowling the streets and the strip. A buddy of mine wants to trade me his Chrome Work VS-XX's for my Work Emitz's we got them fitted to see how they'd look and man I'm in love with them. Should I take the trade ? Now on to the situation of my wallet. This post was edited by Crazy Eighty Eight (2017-05-05 12:18, ago) |

# EXOTI1CSTANCE : Them VSXX's are beautiful probably the only ZN6 with VSXX's on Bro that's my title now, "The only ZN6 with VS-XX's on here" repping the 86 Gang Strong. # soju357 : DC5 looks really cool, and the 86 as well! Thanks man, I gotta check out your updates. Day of RelaxationSo to take the ease off work and the DC5 build I took the least conventional vehicle to go out and cruise with on this lovely Sunday. It was kinda a bad idea putting so many slaps on my windscreen but y'know Ricky Bobby Moment. Fuck The Police. Oh and I traded the Emitz for these VS-XX's and lord they look good. I took the 3 hour drive to Nevada to get some shots of the car and to just relax. And man it was just what I needed, some peace and a straight pipe LS. I was gonna do this today, but I'll go through with it later in the week. But here's the short of it. A RHD Swapped Blob Eye STI just popped up for sale and a buddy of mine sent me some pics of it, I'll have more details but what do you guys think, I always wanted an STI no! -.-) not that "STI" ,should I buy it and join the Subaru VS Evo War ? |

Beginning of something greatThe DC5 build is 90% complete and all that is needed to be done is; doing in the proper tune and the customary engine break in. This should be the fastest car I've ever owned, the fastest fwd I will ever drive, and the only race purposed car I will ever own. Now I'm not gonna expect much until the car is fully broken in but I am excited as a motherfucker. This is just a teaser of what's coming. This Honda is gonna kick some ass. Phonexius watch out my dude. All will be revealed later this week. Now on to the mighty steed. # Sleepin mOnkey : Front mount big single will be awesome and take that Subie man, it looks awesome. A front mount would be awesome, but I want to go TT, and oh financially speaking it wouldn't be the right time to buy another car maybe in the next month or 2 or never. # David_2709 : Single Turbo? Most people are either doing twins or SC I am going to go the twin turbo route, Superchargers or Procharger Kits are expensive as fuck so I may not being going there anytime soon, so the snails are my only option. # Lagano : Digging that Stang for sure! For the wheels i would suggest some bigger 5 spokes like on the Saleen, or maybe even wheels from a GT500 Super Snake. Well I got some higher tier wheels, and bring on the Soarer this will be an event. Now what's been done to the StangI got her a prettied up in a color from the newer Mustang, Lightening Blue and I must say it looks damn good, I got some new plates an anagram for Crowd Killer, basically a Mustang Meme, some Hella Supertones behind the grill, I was kinda bummed I didn't buy the Impreza STI so those were to comfort me on my loss, I also got some new rims, BBS MUSTANG BOSS 302S WHEEL's from Ford Performance, basically the rims from the BOSS 302 race car. I got them in Gun Metal Black and wrapped in some Toyo R888's with Muscle Car Culture etched in Japanese on the sidewall pretty odd.....right . Now the car is still in the "Ricer" stage with nothing being done performance wise, I still have to place the order on the Turbo Kit and obviously some new brakes so I can stop before I run into some crowds. What I need: Probably* Cylinder Heads A Competition Camshaft Hi Flow Fuel Injectors Custom Turbo Back Borla ATAK Cat-Back Exhaust Wilwood or Brembo 6 Piston Fronts 4 Piston Rear Calipers and Huge Discs That should basically be all I need. Now being a Modular 4.6 V8 it wasn't making much power to begin with so I'm probably gonna have to get it dyno'd to get a benchmark on what it makes after all these years. So while I take care of that, I'm preparing for the reveal. Hype is real. |

I got some bad news and some good newsBad news first the DC5 is still getting ready, we had a few wiring issues so the reveal will be a little delayed, probably until tomorrow the wrap is still being fitted so it's not fully ready to be shown yet, so keep the hype train going. The Good NewsI may have traded my Mustang, so I went to get some gas in the Mustang recently and met this old guy driving a S197 GT500 to the pump and he sparked up a conversation with me and I might be trading my Mustang for his here's why; So he bought the car due to one of his grandkids convincing him in buying one, now he loves the Mustang models, but the power is becoming an issue for him because due to his age a high horse power car is a bit of a "health risk", so I made a joke with him about trading my low HP SN95 for his Shelby and with no hesitation he agreed, I was not expecting that at all. He loved the look of my Mustang but the tire walls were a bit show offy. So the condition of the GT500 is not what you'd expect, it's pretty dinged up and dirty and it hurt my heart looking at it. But it's still a Shelby and that's what matters. Now he's serious about the trade and I told him I'd give him a confirmation on Monday. I mean it's a GT500 a big one up from the SN95 GT and Terminator, so should I trade with the old timer ? |

It's about time, this a big update. After 2 and 1/2 months of work and extreme pocket rape, I can finally reveal the XXX......(dramatic pause)......X Acura/Honda DC5. But Before you gaze on it's new flesh lets gaze on it's former self. Enough of that shit. I give you the unofficialSpoon Sports Drag Car.Now the deets. The car if you have been following the build, the engine has been built on a stock K20 block with forged internals, a CNC ported head, Skunk2 cams and the massive Garrett GTX3076R GEN II Turbo which can push 500+ horsepower I bought a flex fuel system with a high flow fuel pump that means I can run.........E85 that super fuel and pump gas so I can drive it normally, I did what I could to retain my interior so the basic weight shedding was done, I still want to try and drive this flamboyant colored motherfucker on the road. The car is going to be able to run up to 200mph thanks to a reinforced chassis and a lengthened 5th and 6th gear and final drive, the entire gear set was put together with racing gears and syncro to take a beating from this high power and torque output. The car does run but currently we are still mapping 3 settings: Street, Race and Track which includes E85. On full kill mode with and without the corn fuel at full boost which is @36psi the car does this: With Corn: Without Corn: At low boost which is @18psi: Running Gear wise the car has Omni Powers Drag Coilovers and a reinforced rear end with Beaks and Blox Conrol Arms with the front rims tires being: Hoosier Quick Time Pros 26.0" x 11.50" and 15"x 11" Weld S71 Drag Rims And rears: Lenso VPD 18x10 with 245 Hoosier Street Radials A reversed staggered setup. I am going to get grippy road tires for driving it ok the street since the front tires are basically "slicks" and are "not street worthy". The brakes ? Wilwood 4 piston Brake Calipers with High Performace EBC Brake Pads with 245mm Discs in front with 300mm discs in the rear. Everything is still being dialed but it does run and will be hitting the track soon and I'm super excited. Now you're probably wondering, why a Spoon Sports wrap, you have a Chargespeed Front Bumper and a Jun Carbon Hood you idiot, well out of all the Honda Only racing teams, I loved the Spoon Sports color scheme and had to implement it into my car, plus it's super unique so it's stands out and I love it, the wrap did cost me a pretty penny but it was worth it, I am in the process of having the car sponsored officially but that's gonna be a long shot. (This is an old pic) My birthday is on Saturday and as a early present one of my cousins shipped me a legit Spoon Sports Momo Steering Wheel, which goes perfectly with the car. Man this shit is gonna be fucking lit, I'm even more excited on this than the GT500 I got today. Yes I got the GT500 I gave the old timer my SN95 and took his Shelby I said my goodbyes to my SN95 but it's going to live a good life, this will be super fun, I did take what Exotic and Lagano were suggesting. # EXOTI1CSTANCE : Keep the rims and tires And I have to say it does fit it pretty well, probably becausr the GT500 is the same color of the Japanese Flag so it's fitting. As you can see I haven't washed the car yet and it's dusty as a MF, first thing I need to do clean it and get it insured. So welcome to my new daily driver. And that's that, this season is gonna be fun as hell, Lagano the race shall commence soon. This post was edited by Crazy Eighty Eight (2017-05-23 03:39, ago) |
