from my POV, i dont really like a forum based site. you know, it would be hard for a newcomers to understand what we do here and it's just kinda dull without a news feed and all that. but, i agree that this site need to be changed. so, my point is if possible, just to make a refreshment out of what's there already. make it looks more alive. i dont have a perfect example how to do it (coz im not good with design), so i just hope that you guys know what i mention above, despite my bad english. and good luck!
Problem is atm, whenever I come on the forum as it is now, the new threads are only the RP stuff as the recent posts, usually I'm only interested in the "Post your screenshots..." threads. So everytime I come on, I can't see if there's any new posts (and quite frankly I cba to click on forums at the top to search.). If you change it to a forum style, we can have it split up into categories like in the actual "Forums" part of the site, so RP threads are not mixed with everything else when someone posts something new on the homepage.
And let's look at it from a newcomers view, when going on the homepage and looking at the recent threads part, which will probably be the first thing they see, they'll probably immediately think, "Oh, its a roleplay site", I wouldnt think of looking at the top and seeing 'Forums, Downloads, etc'. Just like everyone else, I agree the Shoutbox should stay too.
In my opinion, the game is fine as it is right now, but It can be improved with little things, like making it easier to send PM's, having a roleplay section separated from the forums section in the homepage to make it easier to find stuff for people who doesn't RP, some little tweaks to the interface and that's it!
it's fine the way it is now. the only thing is: the downloads section should have filters to tunnel down to a certain car you want.
but that's probably just because i'm a lazy asshole.

I'm all for new! but some elements should be kept like shoutbox maybe a better one tho but yeah! CHANGE FTW!!
If JC is going to leave the top bar (with HOME, FORUMS, etc.) it will be accessible as it is now. Don't tell me you used the news feed that much.

Im all in for this, but as many said, KEEP THE TOP PART. Or atleast some good aspects of this "old" site.
The plan is to make the site as vstancy as possible! It'll all be put together by me so I'll keep it feeling very homely!
