Already read through that FJ, I've got the right idea in terms of making something HQ, it's just actually having HQ decals to put onto it in the first place. Whenever I try to put a decal in it's extremely low res and often stretched or squashed.
And @Unseen Yeah, it's pretty funny. :p |

Sorry for hijacking this thread. I always think it's very bothersome to make a new thread. So please forgive me.
I spent few hours searching for making window decal. I only came up with few search keywords in my mind, such as "windsheild", "decal", "stickers" and "paintjob". So I want to know how to apply decal to windshield and other windows. Can you help me with that? I'm graphic design student and entering internship next month. Making livery is my interest in SLRR. Thanks! |

you can't decal windows unless the modder that made the mod made it possible

Thanks for reply. As far I know, there's two ways to add window decal.
- Applying in-game which requires lots of stuff like you said, E-Bullet. - Editing file with 3D software. I don't mind about it but there's no point of uploading it publicly if my design is very personal. For other logo like Hoonigan, Low Lifestyle, Stance|Works, etc, I can ask the creator for permission to upload publicly. To be honest, I don't feel like to. If someone ask me for that logo, too bad for them or I can teach and lecture them. |

It's harder than I can imagine after I looked into files such as .scx, .tex, .cfg and .class. I learned the basic of javascript back in high-school days so that might help. I'm hoping I can best contribute to this community. Few cars listed in my mind I'm planning to make. Nice meeting you, Jesus Christ.

I can make something like pattern for decalable windows that will work by copy/paste the strings in the rpk and adding the textures in the folder but u'll still have to know some basics to do the loading order after export the windows.
Check JC's rim tut, if you get it and still want it I'll post the pattern strings and will give you some more details |
