i tryed removing it and reinstaling it, still gives me the same error log and crashes my game...hmmm...shuld work perfectly since the mod and the game are both from BB93, or am i mistaken.Btw i kinda find it odd, but inside the mod there is only a "Meshes" and "Script" folders, there is no texture folder.Im not a moder so i dont know how that works but 99% of mods that have textuers are haveing a "Textures" folder inside.Can you confirm that this is true about the BB93 3D tyres mod, since i downloaded the mod from the DL section.

ok, nwr mind fixed it.The "Textures" folder is not included in the Update link, you need the normal mod 1st, then add the Update one to it. thnx for the help anyways.

Have a look at *my slrr download page*, there is a "startup crash hotfix" link, download that and drop it inside your game, it'll work then :)
With so much drama in the V-S-T, it's kinda hard being Bigg B-O-double-S-ninetythree B)

I've got a couple of engine mods on BB93 SLRR with LE2BB93 v2 and the catalog fix but some engines are still only kits and not available in a part by part, any suggestions?

Hey guys, in need of a bit of assistance with some modding if someone could help me out. I've been trying to convert the stock BMW E36 318is that comes with the BMW Megapack to use the S42 engine instead of the default Einvagen engine. So I went into the src file for the E36 318si and copy-pasted the stock_parts_e array from an E30 that uses the S42. Looks like this:

Unfortunately, when I go in-game and buy the vehicle from the catalog, the engine is not in the car. However, it can be fitted if I buy all the parts and put it together, it's just not coming with it stock. From the limited available knowledge on the internet about this subject, as far as I know, I do not need to modify anything else to get it to work.. Does anyone know what's going on here?

Nope, I checked in the rpks as well to make sure the IDs weren't changed and they were not. Do I need to?

Edit: After looking through the RPKs of the S42 engine and the E30 Coupe Car, there are a massive amount of typeid conflicts. Is there any program that can find unused typeids and/or typeid conflicts? I've changed all of the engine typeids to (hopefully) unique ones, but still no engine when I buy it stock. I had forgotten to change the block typeid one time and I had managed to get it to come with JUST an engine block but nothing else.. So I went and changed the typeid to a unique one, and now I'm back to nothing :( Didn't think it'd be this much work to change the stock configuration of a car..

Edit 2: Decided to just start over from scratch. Did the same exact thing as last time, copied the original RPK back and copied the original typeids back into the E36 java. Now, everything except the flywheel and clutch come with the stock vehicle. A step in the right direction! However, I can't seem to get those two parts to come with it whatsoever.. I've tried changing the typeids multiple times to no avail. Can typeids conflict between mods? E.g. if two engine blocks in seperate rpk files use typeid 0x00000025, would that create a conflict?

Edit 3: Well, I decided that since the modded S42 engine is pretty much inferior to the stock engines, I'll just use those and tune them to the BMW specs. All the I4-spec cars are now working as intended, but now I face the task of swapping the M54B30 into the 320i+ models. This is my stock_parts_list_M in my 320i java:

All of the part IDs were taken straight out of the RPK, so I don't think has anything to do with that.. Both the car RPK and engine RPK have external links to eachother, although I'm not sure if that's actually necessary or not. Is there something I am missing, or an additional step I need to take to get this to work? Would seriously appreciate some help, thanks.

You should edit these. Changing just the path won't work. Afaik there's only one M54B30 (TimEk9's)] for SLRR, and e.g. typeID of block is 0x000000F9, not 0x00000A41.

My slrr got fucked up the same way a long time ago.Try to change resolutions and switch from windowed to fullscreen and back aaaand remove the enb/sweetfx(since the sweetfx fucked me up on my last gpu [gt730])

Does anyone in here have knowledge of any of the damage systems in SLRR? I'd like to add an additional characteristic of connecting rods, crankshafts, and pistons; torque limits. It would function almost identically to the existing RPM limits, but would obviously be based off of the peak torque of the engine, instead of peak RPM. I've done a 'find in files' search through the entire SLRR java pack for "rpm_limit" but I cannot find any algorithm or equivalent that I could get an idea of how to proceed with this. I found stuff in DynoData, but I don't think the RPM_limit variables in that files have anything to do with the engine parts; more just about how the engine itself performs as a whole. Is this something that is hard-coded? If anyone has any knowledge on this subject, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks man, I've gotten it all working nicely now. For anyone who's curious, I've been updating the BMW E36 Coupe Megapack to function correctly again. Fixed only certain models of it showing up as enemy racers, as well as added parts for the variations of the M54B30 (such as the M50B20/25 and their corresponding cams/cranks/conrods/pistons/etc). I've also done a few other slight tweaks to make the engine performance more accurate as well as make the car prices more realistic and balanced. It also no longer requires you to download five other mods for it to work correctly. Shouldn't be much longer until I can release it (of course with all credits going to the original authors; I only accept credit for patching it back up :P)

My next question for ya would be whether or not you have any knowledge on the damage systems in the game (refer to my previous post), as I am trying to add torque limitations to cranks/conrods/pistons (separate project). I just find that conrods/pistons/cranks seem to be pretty much indestructible; you can have tiny conrods take infinite amounts of torque as long as they're under a certain rpm, which I find to be a bit wonky :p Any and all help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: So I've noticed something quite peculiar while working on things... My suspension seems to be messed up. I can't put a spring on the front-right strut of the Duhen Sunstrip 1.8; it comes with a spring in that slot, but it's position is messed up and once taken off, it cannot be put back on. So I started over with my install, downloaded a fresh 2.2.1mwm installation and, just out of curiosity, started it up vanilla. It still happened; I started a new game (on a FRESH 2.2.1 MWM install that I just downloaded!), used begformoney to get 120k, bought a Sunstrip 1.8 from the vehicles menu and the same thing occurred. Front right spring is out of position, and once removed, cannot be put back on; nor can any other spring go on. Can someone test this install and see if the same thing happens for them? If not, I have absolutely no idea why this is happening, and if so; how has this gone unnoticed, considering 2.2.1mwm seems to be the most popular version people run?

Just noticed that if I take all of the suspension parts off the car, the only one I can fully put back together is the front left suspension. The trailing arms and struts go on, but shock absorbers will not and as such I cannot put anything further on. And let me reiterate... This is with a freshly downloaded and installed, "clean" version of 2.2.1MWM.

Edit, again. After doing some rather specific google searches, it seems someone has actually released a tiny patch fixing this issue. Looking at the changes, it seems someone forgot to type the slot ID for the front right suspension in the main chassis cfg lol. I'm quite surprised this fix has not already made it into the standard "clean, working" 2.2.1MWM installation. The link for the fix is here, just drop into cars/racers/Duhen_data/scripts/.

hey i got a problem. i have to silvias. and i need both of them and the problem is that one is Nissan_silvia_s13_data and nissan_silvia_s13.rpk
and the other is Nissan_silvia_s13_data and Nissan_silvia_s13d.rpk
and the problem is that when i want to put them both ingame windows want to put those two folders as one. so my question is,is there any way to change the name of car without crashing the game?

i really need both silvias.

If the second Silvia's RPK name is "Nissan_silvia_s13d", rename the corresponding Nissan_silvia_s13_data folder to Nissan_silvia_s13d_data.

You'll probably need to decode one of the RPKs and change the directory that it's looking for the files in to s13d. Use resdecode.exe, open the .rdb file with preferably Notepad++, Ctrl+H for "Nissan_silvia_s13_data" and replace all with "Nissan_silvia_s13d_data". If you run into more issues, PM me and I'll see what I can do.

This isn't really a problem but it looks really weird.
The reflections here are very bright (you can't even see through the window), but this happens only with this Supra.

Hey guys, I've got an issue when attempting to do a drag race. I reached the blue cheetah club and next up was a dude with baiern devil sport car, but when i wanna race him, his car isn't there, it's just my car on the track and the game crashes all of a sudden, and there's nothing in the error log which is weird. Any ideas on whats the problem? Thanks in advance :)
