What's up everyone,

Im Hamid a.k.a Hamke, a.k.a bosnian_drifter, I live in Sarajevo, Bosnia & Herzegovina. I'm 18.
So me and a couple of friends ended up saving some money for the past 6 years, 30K to be precise. We bought one-way tickets to Japan, and traveled to Osaka. We opened up a garage called Shinsaibashi Garage. We got 2 million Yen or 20000$ and looking to buy our first car here.

More updates soon!!!

Added 14 minutes later:

Okay, so after searching couple of the scrapyards and local car dealears. We found a car.

Behold, the Toyota Altezza XE10. The dealer said it had some electrical problems and the car caught fire on a local highway. Luckily the chassis and the A and B pillars were okay. Its missing a fender, the front seats and windshield, and of course the engine. But the car got some goodies, it's good some brand new Yayoi Techno rims and brand new Yokohama tires.

So here it is:

Added 1 minute later:

Oh and BTW, the car cost about 40K Yen.

Added 24 minutes later:

After going to some scrapyards, I was able to find a new hood, quarter panel, hood and the front right light, which cost me around 13k Yen. I put them on the car, and while putting the hood on, I checked the numbers on the chassis, and... It was actually an Toyota Altezza XE10 RS200 with Kaminari side skirts and Kaminari rear bumper.

Added 38 minutes later:

After doing a more detailed inspection, I decided that this car is going to be our daily for Japans streets, therefor we changed the brakes, 332mm on the front and 270mm on the rear (Brembo), they costed 75000 Yen. After that I needed some other rims, I got a really good deal for the Yayois, I got for them 4500 Yen and the guy that I was selling to had some work Equips with tyres so I gave him my Yayois and payed 1000 Yen more for the Equips.

The update on the car:
This morning I went to the local race track, there was a drift meeting, saw a lot of nice cars, and some really good parts for my car. After the meeting had finished, I went to my garage to finally do work on the coil-overs

I got these nice Koni maximum stability coil-overs for less than 900$ and a whole suspension kit for 550$.

Aaaaaand I got a really good surprise coming in a couple of hours....

Added 1 hour 7 minutes later:

As I said I was at that local drift meeting. Ofc I didn't leave without some goodies. The biggest issue with the car was that it had no engine. The original engine was a totaled stock 1JZ that had caught fire with the car, so the owner scraped it for parts. At the meeting I saw a couple of guys staying and talking, and with my bad Japanese I began talking to them. They said that they had a engine for sale, it's a original 2JZ with no modifications and I got it for 2550$ + shipping to my garage and a brand new exhaust with a genuine HKS tips and 75mm exhaust pipe. On top of that I got 2 OMP race seats with a little wear and tear for 850$.

So here is the 2JZ out of the car:

And the exhaust:

And the OMP seats:

Added 1 hour 54 minutes later:

After finishing everything up, I took the car to my friend for a fresh coat of paint, and I just had to take a photo on the highway of it.

Added 1 hour 26 minutes later:

After leaving the paint shop with a fresh coat of two-tone, yes two-tone, paint. I noticed a little garage with some cars staying in front of it. But first of all let me show you my Tezza, new paint, did a little bit of the front alignment AND I got a Kaminari front bumper to match the whole look and removed the rear spoiler.

IF ANYONE WANTS A FRONT BUMPER FOR THE ALTEZZA IT'S 100V#.

And I cleaned the engine bay so the 2JZ looks really good in the car.

Added 31 minutes later:

THE YELLOW YARD FIND

So while I was driving home today I saw a garage with some cars beat up in the front. I went to that garage to see what they had, they liked my altezza and we talked about it for a while. As from their stories I found out that the garage actually participated in D1GP races back in 2006. After their crash they stopped participating there and just fix cars to be D1 ready. After looking through the garage I noticed a very nice but beat up car in the yard. I talked to the people in the garage and that car was their actual 2006 D1GP race car that crashed. After inspecting the car it looked like the chassis and structure of the car were in very good shape. So we agreed on a price of 9350$, because the car didn't have a engine, battery, rollcage, and some other issues. So let me present to you all my yellow drift car.

So yeah, after inspecting the FD, I saw it had some rust problems on the rear fenders, the front right bumper holders were broken and the right quarter panel too. So I fixed them, and sandblasted the parts were the rust was. The rear brake pads need a change because they're worn out, but the brake disks look really good. Found out that the coil overs are Greddy S-Types. The front camber is adjusted at -4.5 degrees so it has enough. The front bumper is a C-West bumper that has a little battle scars but I'll keep it. One thing I have to change is the rear spoiler. Also I have to find a engine, probably SR20 or RB26. It's going to have a drift missile vibe so it should be ready in a week, if I got the engine.

So here is the progress for this night:

The shopping cart looks like this:
Altezza:
-Chassis 400$
-Body parts 130$
-Brembo brakes 750$
-Rims Yayoi Techno+100$
-Koni Maximum stability coil-overs 860$
-Suspension kit 500$
-OMP seats 2x 850$
-Factory 2JZ 2550$

FD3S RX7:
-Just bought the car and it was 9350$

So after everything my balance is 4460$.

Today was a big day for the FD. Started off with doing some metal work. After removing the rust, I sandblasted the critical areas and re-furbished the C-West front bumper. Also bought some metal tubes for the rollcage that i put in the car. So now the FD looks proper at last.
