If i find a good deal of Meisters i might get them. And thanks! :D ^^

I crashed... Again...

Well, kinda... I didn't smash into a wall this time. I went to Ebisu for a afternoon sesh with friends and i was tandeming with a guy who was driving a PS13 (which was pretty nice btw) and i was leading. He was on my tail and he overaccelerated a bit and smashed my overfender and bumper.

Here's the after damage. D-Max rear bumper is pretty much fucked, i lost the bit that's missing so i won't be able to rebuild it.

Overfender seems like it can be fixed with a bit of time put into it, and i've strapped the bumper to the fender with zipties to drive it home...
Even though this happened i still had a good time overall and i'm cool with the other guy since there was no need to escalate things over a mistake it can happen to anyone, it's part of drifting and pushing it to the limit!

@Mikingo True if it wasn't for zipties things could have gone a lot harder in that event hahah ^^

New bumper!

Bought this D-Max Type-3 bumper from a guy who lives in Osaka. It's in pretty good shape, paid 250 V$ for it, still need to get it painted though, and also to fix the damage in the fender, should be soon i hope. If i have time i'll remove the overfender and hammer the fender out to it's normal position.

Finances: 1723 - 250 (d-max type 3) = 1473 V$

Well, i was doing a street sesh at Mount Taka alone and i had a bit of a setback... My driver side tyre blew up!

I kinda brought that upon myself for driving on tyres that are in such rough shape after being thrased on Ebisu and the sesh i had with friends.
I had to call my friend Haruki (guy who has the Z32 i posted a while back) to bring me a spare wheel.
So he borrowed me 2 of his work xt7, to be able to drive to the store and get some new tyres for my 180.

xt7's kinda look nice in my 180 tbh, but still like the VS-KF more.
Anyway the two new toyo proxes costed me 300 V$, didn't get around on fixing that fender yet.

Finances: 1473 - 300 (two toyo tyres) = 1173 V$

@Renaruto: Thanks man! If you buy one you'll probably spend more time working on it than actually driving hahaah

@Mikingo: I've been in a bit of a bad luck streak with this car, but i'm gonna redo some stuff on it to make sure it's all good from now on

@Renaruto: true hahaha

I was cruising around Osaka and decided to stop on Super Autobacs to see if any new stuff had hit the shelves.
When i pulled in i saw my friend Jorge's 180SX in there. I parked next to his car and took a pic.

We went to the mountains a few days back (where he had a crash that fucked his bumper and tailight) and he was there looking for the parts he needed.

We decided to go for a couple beers, and mid talk he asked me if i still had any old parts of my 180 laying around. And i actually do, so we made a deal! He bought my old rear bumper with the kouki valance, my right tailight and my pignose lip all for 350 V$.

Finances: 1173 + 350 (parts sold to Ward *Jorge*) = 1523 V$

Re-working the 180sx

A few days have passed and i've slowly been doing some stuff to the 180sx, i'm changing some parts and changing up the style a little bit!

I've been getting it ready for paint: hammered the rear fender back in place. But my left overfender was pretty much done, even fixed wouldn't look right, plus my front ones have some cracks in some places from being "too low to drift" as some people like to say...

So anyway, i've decided to order a set of front and rear overfenders from D-Max to match up the type-3 kit, so i now have the full body kit! Paid 400 V$ in total for them.

Also decided to swap my Z32 brakes and update them for Z33 ones. They offer a better stopping power and they are made by brembo so there's that. These ones i found in a junkyard on a totaled Z33 that got t-boned, i was hoping to get some parts for my Fairlady Z33 as well, but this was just a oem base model Z33, plus it flipped, so there wasn't really much shit to grab. The brakes costed me 500 V$
And to end it all i bought that roof wing from a local friend for 75 V$

Finances: 1523 - 400 (d-max type 3 fenders) - 500 (z33 brakes) - 75 (roof spoiler) + 750 V$ (monday paycheck) = 1298 V$

Banana!

Today me and my boss have been paiting my 180sx in the shop, i've decided to change things up a bit and go for a yellow w/ black roof setup.
So we took off the d-max kit and we pulled off the SR to paint the engine bay as well so it looks neat and tidy.

I've also been learing how to work with the painting stuff and i've pretty much painted it by myself, only with some help in the final layers from my boss so it didn't look messed up.
I spent 375 V$ total on 1 gal of yellow and 1/4 gal of sparkly black, we already had primer and most materials in the shop.
We ran out of masking paper so we had to grab some newspapers to wrap up the windows and duct taped them to eachother.

And here it is at the final stage of painting, we were starting to remove the masking newspapers and papers of the car, looks pretty neat tbh, the sparkly black on the roof is just icing on the cake! I'll take some better pics when we're done putting all the stuff back in

For now i'm not thinking of putting a new livery, i might later on, but for now this is the setup i want!

Finances: 1298 - 375 (1 gal of yellow and 1/4 of sparkly black) = 923 V$

Re-styled

So this is what i've been up to the last few days... Putting everything back together on the 180!
The SR is back in and running, had to change a few wires that were damaged with all the bashing the engine has been taking since i bought it.

Also bought a new set of wheels (AVS Model 5) on 17x10, since i sold mine to Renaruto. Got them off a local guy from Osaka for 1100 V$ with the Toyo Proxes included, pretty good deal, one of them is a bit curbed but nothing really noticeable, only if you look really close to them. I have painted my calipers yellow as well for that nice blend. Oh and i've also traded my D-Max hood for a M-Sports hood, to give it more of a street style.

Where the stickers at tho?
Removed all of them for now, some of them got a bit damaged with dust and all, and others started ripping off with time, but i'm still gonna sticker the windows later on, already got a few waiting to go in.

Finances: 3298 - 1100 (new wheels) + 750 (monday paycheck) = 2948 V$
