The topic is about your start in SLRR. Rules are simple: Write true stories, and give us some screenies if avaible! I'll start.
------- My really 1st time with this lovely game was when I dl'ed a compiled game with some mods on Youtube. I didn't knew about cheats, so after buying a rustyass Supra I had almost no money left. The real gameplay started about 3-4 months ago. I compiled a game by myself and downloaded some mods from this site(Vstanced). As you can see, I didn't knew even how to change an offset of the wheel. Razer11 told me that this is NOT the good way to play SLRR, and gave me a link to ENB and BB93's version. I still thank to him in my mind. And then, here I am! |

my first time playing slrr was probably three to four years ago. i was looking through a cb7tuner forum about a member modeling a cb7 (93 accord) to put into a game. this one guy posted that the modeler put it in some game called "slrr" he explained it and that is what interested me. my first mod took me thirty minutes to put into the game, now im editing scrpts! every other game i played i got tired of... but not this one. i think slrr is one of the best overall car game out there!-DAVID(me)
sorry for water splash I believe he meant to post pics from the first times you played, not just some you took recently - BB93 This post was edited by Bigg Boss93 (2015-06-12 10:58, ago) |

My first time, I was totally noobish, tried buying an engine block, expecting it to be totally built, so I put a straight 6 into a Duhen. When it didnt work with just the block, I got pissed and deleted the whole game, and didn't come back to it for 5 years, until I know about engines, then built some vehicle in 2.3.0 LE. I think it was actually a Celica.

The first time i played was years ago when my unvle had it on a cd. I was in love with the customization of the cars. i didnt actually mod my first car and tried to race for pinks, and lost the car with no money to buy another. i knew nothing about mods and such. then like a couple years later i saw videos of people putting mods in the game and i was like, "I KNOW THAT GAME!" i found Gom-team and started my modding shenanigans!

My first time with SLRR was kinda funny - I've downloaded one from torrents, and it was broken - I had no textures of test track or Valo City - everything gray.
But I still played this game, building cars in garage. I don't even know what version was that (probably 2.3.0LE). Then, I've came on Google with question: SLRR mods. And then, I found GOM and VS. It was like six years ago... Now I feel old :|
PS: My first mod ever was MagnumForce's Charger R/T. |

i got my first experience with slrr, 2011 i think. I got stoked when i saw these vid, i even doesn't have a computer back then, just watch it via internet cafe
then few month later i got my first pc, then i found a copy of slrr (with pre-installed mods in it and the language is russian) laying around the shop, and i buy it and getting addicted of it. and these words came out for my mouth for a week : "holy shit the graphic sucks but the gameplay omg" "how do i put the crankshaft bearing bridge ?" "BIGGER WING IS GOOD" at that time i know nothing about car culture, i don't even have an internet to use, i only use internet for 2 hours/week on my local internet cafe, and i don't even know slrr is moddable, i thought the mod in it was pre-made or something like that |

I think my first time was when my cousin started sending me these games to play because I still didn't know games you can download and/or buy existed, or how I could get them. (was probably like 7 years old at the time, so around 2008) and I remember the game always started with this black Aston Martin in the garage, and I played it a lot and I haven't really stopped playing it since, even though it's not that often I always go back to it.
Wish I had pictures of back then. I can only imagine what riced creations 7 year old me would've created. EDIT: Also this was the era of me making very shitty lego videos. Yes I made an attempt for Youtube when I was like 7-8... This post was edited by MartyTheGamer (2015-06-12 16:55, ago) |

Well, i started to play SLRR in 07/07/2012 (same date who i created my account in SLRR BR forum), a friend told me he was playing a old game with horrible physics and graphics but with a nice gameplay, then i search for it in Youtube and saw this video:
My reaction was like: OMG look all these customization options, this is awesome, totally awesome My first car was a used red Duhen in SLRR 2.3.0LE.. Unfortunately i dont have pics from it.. Here are the oldest pics who i have: And this is my first mod ever created:Link |

I first saw SLRR in 2012 or so through some screenshots taken by a friend. I didn't take interest in it until 2013 or so when I saw a couple of other screenshots of an S13. From there I did some research on the game and downloaded two versions- the latest SLRR by Jack at that time and a stock 2.2.1LE2MWM. I ended up using Jack's SLRR because it came packed with mods but I ditched it soon after for the 2.2.1LE2MWM because it was far more stable with adding on mods.
