Sorry if this makes me sound like a "Noob" but i would really appreciate some advice and input on this.

Here are the steps ive been taking to mod the game unsuccessfully :(

1.) I downloaded the game from the tutorial page (Version 2.2.1), and extracted the .rar file onto my desktop, and followed the steps to download the game. The game opens up and works like a charm

2.) I downloaded the MWM File. I dont extract that anywhere, i simply open it up when the download is finished, hit next a couple of times, and when it asks me to give the game directory, i click on "browse", i find the folder where i downloaded the game, and download the MWM File into that folder.

3.) Did i miss a step? from my understanding of other tutorials, thats all it takes to start modding the game, my game just opens up and is exactly how it was before i put in the MWM File.

Also, when i download the MWM File into the folder, it comes with another "Application" thats named "Legal street racing", but when i try to open that, it says "Please insert SL2 disk" or something along those lines. Does that have anything to do with me not being able to mod the game?

Sorry if this was asked and answered before, i couldn't find it.

Then you are doing something wrong, or have a weak PC. Because it shouldn't do so.

If its lagging and crashing, will an upgraded graphics card help? or do i need to get an upgraded processor with that

Post here your computer specs so we could see if slrr (with mods & no lag) would really work on your PC. Usually Valo can cause to lag traffic cars (bots), disable them in your Options menu. From my point of view, BB93's version of SLRR reduced lag.
