Hi guys!

I need a cylinder head for the 2JZ. Does anyone know where to get one for a fair price? I'm also looking for aftermarket camshafts and intake, because it would fit really well with a new cylinder head. If anyone can get me a package like this, i would be very grateful. :)

# supahotfire : Tried some 19's on Lexus. Going to stick with my 18's, cuz this is just too harsh, and rubs everywhere.

Installed some new mufflers, looks nice and sounds a bit louder.

Cleaaaaaaaaaaaaan, love the style but those 19's do look a little too big. Still would look great if you were tucking them, though. B)

First day of work on my friend's Miata brings me to this :

I stripped what was left of the sideskirts and front fenders. Bumpers were new so I put them aside for later. The rest of the stuff went directly to my trash container.
I kept the battery connected to the car in the case i had to move it before remonving engine and running gear.

But the engine will go to trash too because it's so rusted i could drill the head cover with my own finger.

In the meanwhile I found out the RX7 can be very annoying to drive everyday in a left hand drive country... And RX-8 are getting very cheap now. So i found this mint and full stock 2003 model. It have more than 100.000 km though so i might have to change the engine but for now it's running very fine.

(don't mind the miata at the back, please)

I have some projects for it too...

So, I found the location of the ex-drift car, but the thing is nobody was there, however the garage door was wide open so I kind of just let myself in. I told the guy what my car looks like so if he comes back and sees the Mustang outfront, I probably won't get shot.

Anyways, the advertisement states that "comes with a mint, stock, 2JZ-GTE (missing all belts and intake) to swap in and build upon", I am hoping this is true. It would save me a lot of trouble sourcing a motor. The rims on it have hella curb rash. (Just pretend they do, I could have textured that in but, too lazy) I don't know the story behind that so I'm not going to insult the guy just yet, haha. I'll ask him, though. "missing seats but it's OK because of the #bigwanggang status, I can get you a discount on some BRIDE seats from a local shop, if you want them..."

Overall, the body is really clean apart from a few scratches and paint chips, no dents, suprisingly.

Anyways, I just called the guy, he says he had to run to the store but he is on his his way... Wish me luck!

I asked him about the wheels, they are cheap replicas that he used for hooning before the old motor blew up.

The deal seems to be coming along well though, he says he might even through in some fake Rota's for me to use at the drift event.

@NK748 does your shop SELL parts? I am going to (hopefully) need some 2J parts.

Thanks Marcus but the engine is already old, I'll have some month to build a decent 13B to swap in. Feel free to come at the shop there's still some space to work on another car!

ThatBoostedGuy : yes I order parts from everywhere in the world and now TomDiablo can help me import them with his own shop in Japan, so whatever you need, just ask.

So I installed 19's on the Lexus, tried to take it out for a couple shots, beached it badly...

Had to call a friend up to help me push it back but eventually I managed getting where I needed to go. Forgot what it was like to be this static.

Car is crazy low, I'm aiming to go even lower... Tucking 19's will be fun. Oh, and sorted out the rear camber, wanted an even look and didn't want to have no contact patch in the fronts.

Here's what has gone down today...
-I bought the Supra & 2JZ
-I bought the fake Rota's for the drift event
-Ordered something hella cool for the Mustang, will start installing it Tuesday...

@Haku: That's exactly why I haven't lowered the Mustang that far, yet. It is my thrash car. The only time I have framebanged is when I "didn't see" a speed bump and hit it going kind of quick, suprisingly the only damage was to the mufflers (this was before I had sidepipes).

Hi VS, some time has passed and i finaly got the chanse to do a status update on my cars, let start wit the Holden.

The Holden, i finaly found a name for it, The Comander :P
the Comander ass you may remember got damaged a few weks ago, and has been sitting in my garage gathering dust ever since.
got some photos of the damage donne

The cops managed to tranck down the driver that hit my car thanks to the CCTV cameras that was placed in the parkinglot, and he admitted to being drunk, which explains how he didnt see my car... but i'l get around to fixing it soon.

I also have an anounsment to make, my car family just got bigger! I imported a BMW E34 540 sendan, it looks rough, but it's got nowthing but surface rust and has a S54B30 out of a E46 M3. this wil be my daily until i get the Comander back on the road, wich can take a wile since I'm curently working on the SN-95.
here's two photos ov the E34

The SN-95 has a bit of work done to it. the rear end is modded to fitt smaltire drag sliks, with a fullon qiuckshange rearend that can handel almost 3000 NM torqe. starting on the front end tonight, I'l see if i can finnish the frontend suspension next week! If annyoune wants to join me, feel free to stop by my garage, I'l be there every night until my girl threaten to kick me out of the house :P you can find the garage at *address*

it's sitting on steeeys meanwhile i wait for the new weels and tires :P

Still selling the Cobra R weels BTW! they will not fit the car when it's donne...

Back to the 200sx, well... I have alot to fix, minor damage to the engine, alignment, body panlels etc. (Crash Stuff)
But because of my a´wesome talent of always buying too much stuff i didnt have to order all those things again! I waste alot of money :D

When i started to dig into the car i noticed that my bearing-arms were partially cracked, expensive AF. Also i have some chassis straightening to do.

2 days later of fixing me car and ive assembled all of the parts, the straightening went kinda... its not perfect.

So far it's been quite a day at Nikko - I have four sets of spares and I've gone through two so far. Ran into ThatBoostedGuy and took a look at his Stang. Not a bad car to shred, I've always been thinking of buying one to smash around but I just can't get past how bad it looks..

Mainly out here today to test out my new Parts Shop Max running gear. Gives me a lot more steering angle.

And right before I parked up to take a break I threw a mad reverse down the main straight.

Marcus, I don't know if you saw my last run but, the results weren't too good. I'm not too upset, finding new parts won't be that hard, I'll just remove my bumper and keep going. If you want to try and tandem, I'm down.

After a good night, the mold is dried and the holes are drilled in the trunk to fit the Mazdaspeed wing :

Carefully bolting on the wing.
Even more carefully remove the mold from the roof.

Then at last filling the inside of the mold with carbon fiber, then lay to rest until it's hardened, cut the exceed aaaaand voilà you have a carbon fiber roof!

While it's drying i decided to take a spin near the beach with the Chevy, i think i'll have more chance to sell it to a rich surfer boys than dockers in the harbour.

See you soon for the final result on the RX-8

Well, good news and bad news:
Bad news is I can't find a decent S2000 drivetrain. Only found one complete set but it was overpriced.
But the good news is that I could snag a N/A 13b with bridge ported rotor housings and a RX-7 tranny on it. I'll probably use a Miata rear end. Finally my dad is somewhat happy. He works at Mazda which main factory is here in Hiroshima.
Now I'll try to sqeeze the rotary into the Civic. I mean if that thing fits a Miata, it can fit this one, right?
