I saw this beautiful Fairlady Z33 for sale, the owner ask 10,000$ for it. I really want a Z33, but I already have my BRZ and the FTO, if I buy it, I will need to sell the BRZ or the FTO. What do you think guys. Should I buy this beautiful Z33?

# dxg1997 : But I would also buy a Miata. I'm actually looking at a dark green one sold my a gentleman who goes by a strange alias... "Arctic Fox"... Who knows, might be worth it. Its beat to hell, but I think I could bring it back. I think he said he wanted $1500 for it...

Dunno if this is a refferende to my old Miata or nah :awesome:

Hell yeah!

So after 2 long weeks, the coils arrived and it took me another week to fit them in. The car is rustier than I expected. The brakes are 275mm Wilwood all around. Plus I converted the 4-lug pattern to 5 lug. Since I needed to rebuild the whole running gear... If someone wants to have the adapters that were on it, let me know.

And this is how it sits right now; It has a bit of camber on the rear wheels.

Next step is some serious rust-removal.

Also, dxg is now the co-owner of PTG. When I asked him he had this big ear-to-ear smile on his face XD I sold the Civic for whooping 7 grand (Not bad for a car that had a seized engine and was rusty as fuck XD ) and used the money to pay off a part of the loan.

@David: *sigh* Did you even read the build of that thing?
-B18 swap
-new suspension + brakes
-rust-free
-OZ rims and new tires
-Complete respray
It HAD a seized engine and WAS rusty as fuck. But that was BEFORE I rebuilt it.
So PLEASE do some backtracking before you say that I am talking bullshit. Thank you.

I decided to join the VW Golf club, so I went and bought myself a MK3 Golf! It's quite rusted and dismembered right now, apparently the last owner was planning to have it as a project to work on, but didn't have time so that's why he's selling it. Got the missing parts along with it so I'll be fitting those on soon. At the moment this thing will be sitting at the side of my house untill I decide what to do with it.

NEW BUILD!

Because i finished the Amazon last week, i needed a new project.

Its a 1968 Ford Mustang Fastback. The body is a bit rusty, and the paint is not so good.
I bought it for 1500$ from a guy who parked it behind his barn 2 years ago, and i think that was a great price for a car like that. In Norway, a 68' Fastback in that condition could have been 5000-7000$

The Engine and drivetrain is in good condition, its a fresh-buildt LS3 V8. I'm going to do some upgrades on the engine, but nothing crazy.
The car is now stripped and primed and is ready for paint, hoping to get it painted this week.

And some pic's!

The engine is getting rebuildt as i speak :D

ready for paint

New update when the car is finished! :D

@dxg expect a loud ass 240sx outside your shop then xD Will be there sometime tomorrow afternoon!

(I reinstalled my SLRR so forgive me if the car looks different)

Decided I should take the 240 to work this morning. Ended up with pissed off neighbours and a noise-violation. ;)
So that idea went in the trashcan allthough when it was out I snapped some quickies of her.

I got it pieced together again. Banged the front fenders quite a bit when I was drifting last weekend so I need to take care of that. When I'm in there I might aswell bang( ;) ) the wheelarches some more to be complete safe from any rubbing in there.

Next up on the list is:
Exhaust(DeeEcksGee will handle that)
Maintenance

So I sanded and bolted back the parts that I could save on the Civic. They consist of the front fender, bumper and the doors.
I went to a junkyard and found a rolled over Civic, ready for parts. I took sideskirts and rear bumper. I also took the front bumper, but didn't fit it.

Honda Civic: 20% Complete
To do:
  • *NEW* Find and fit missing parts
  • New wheels
  • New Suspension
  • New engine
  • New colour: 50% Complete
  • Decals
  • Something special
  • Done:
  • Stripped the whole car
  • Washed car
  • Sanded car

  • And I decided to sort out things with Dice Ridez today.
I went to meet Edward "Eddie" McDonald yesterday. He's their leader.
Much to my surprise, his car wasn't rice. As a matter of fact, it was a sexy orange Esprit.
He wanted to challenge me in a race, on E.V Raceway. I accepted.
I was in me Prelude. Now remember, this thing doesn't rev up to 12k RPM anymore, because it has a new engine.
And so, without further ado, we went to the race track, lined up.
    AAaaaaand we're off!

He was leading at first, but I managed to keep up. He had built a tough race car for me to beat, and I've not raced the
Prelude with it's new engine for a long while.

Anyway, the race went on, there was quite a huge crowd surrounding us. I managed to overtake him when he spun out on a corner.
    From there, I was leading.

Thanks to FWD, I managed to clear corners without worrying a lot about understeer or oversteer.

But there were moments that he was right on my tail.

Anyway, the race went on and on, three laps. There were moments that he overtook me
but really, I just overtook him again.

In the end, I managed to win.

Today, I check out UTM, and it looks like this race was a good reason for a cover...

They made a mistake though. It's not "12k RPM Prelude" anymore.
And is it me or are their front pages getting a little more simple?
Also, all of the customer cars are complete and are off the garage.

To do list before leaving East Valo:
    Beat Bugatti brothers
Sort out things with Dice Ridez
Finish some cars that came in for tuning
Sort out things with a new challenger that appeared.

Well, since my BRZ project is very close to completion, I decided to waste some cash on another car. It was originally for sale for 2800 but I knocked the guy straight down to 2200. I am now a somewhat proud owner of a 240SX. It's sorta modded with some rough areas here and there.

    Specs-
    Suspension:
    -Tein Springs
    -C35 Laurel Disc brakes
    -C35 Laurel Spindles
    -S13 Shocks
    -Z32 Rotors and Calipers
    -Z32 Brake lines

    Engine
    -Redtop SR20DET
-New Intercooler Piping (small side mount)
    -S15 T28 turbo unit
    -Ricer BOV
    -Mishimoto Radiator

    Body:
    -Stock body
    -Foreign Used Bumper + Lip
    -New Headlight bulbs
    -Recently tinted windows

    Interior:
    -R32 Recaro Seat
    -No-Name wheelC
    -"new" Chuki cluster
    -Recently steamed interior

    The negatives:
-Tein Springs are dead as fuck
-The wastegate on the T28 is stuck so I'm boosting more than I should be
-Headlight motors don't work so they remain open
-The body is beginning to rust near the rear
-Exhaust has a leak just after the cat

I also do not intend on modding this car too much. I bought it as a daily and it should remain as a daily..hopefully things will go as planned. Anyway, Here are the pictures-

My BCL wing came in today so I decided to do a test fit before painting the trunk over, I like it gives the evo a "battle stance" style look to it.

Now all that is left is to get those brakes from shaforostov and get her painted up. I love the oem blue but I am curious to if I should change the color any suggestions? also, @shaforostov nice 240sx, I would like to get my hands on one if I get more serious into drifting.

P.P.S:I think I am going to sell the Miata. it is a very fun car to drive but the wheelbase is a little short for a serious drift build. I wanted to give you guys a chance to claim it as your own before I throw it up on ValoList. just shoot me an offer Pics on request

I have spare headlight motors plus I know the wiring pretty well, I can swing by and do it for you if you'd like?

Also I have a complete exhaust for S13 with SR20 turbo, should practically bolt up if you wanna give me $75 for it I can swing by with in. It's completely stock though, but in great shape.

Sure, I'd like to have the motor. The wiring is in working condition..it's just the motor that's seized up. About the exhaust, mine is actually decent aside from the leak which is very small. I'm going to patch it up and hopefully that'll work. You can swing by anytime after 5PM tomorrow :D

*insert sigh here like Knox in Borderlands T-Bone Junction dlc* So, the Kamaro went out the door today... I was sad to see her go, but I know she went to a good home. I saw this guys collection BEFORE I closed the deal, and, everything is perfect. even the old cars, polished every day, dust free, but still driven. That's the one thing I held on, was that the vehicle had to be driven, not just sat there and stared at. So, I'm $210,000 richer, which is funny because I only spent $52k on it, so its a $150k profit! Good news is, one day shipping on a 5.8 liter Supercharged Cobrajet engine for the Pinto at the vintage price of only $24k! ( *LINK* ). I overheard Fred on the phone talking to someone, and I heard that BBS and Toyo MIGHT sponsor our garage, ON TOP OF HKS!

Well, two things. Firstly, I got an engine for the Eclipse. Nothing fancy, just an engine I ripped out of a Focer, they actually have re-branded Mitsubishi engines, which is interesting, seeing as it's an affordable clone. I also bolted on some rims I had lying about. I'll be selling this car, or trading it, seeing as it isn't much of a project and I need something to do. If anybody wants to buy it or trade another car for it, just tell me, I'll bring it over with the Chevy Wrecker free of charge.

Second, I bought my dad's Mk.2 GTI. He didn't want to see it go, so I offered to buy it from him, I needed a car, and he needed the space, seeing as he just doesn't have the time to work on it anymore. I might just replace the engine with another 16v, throw some new tires on there and call it a day.

Hey guys, got some updates on my Silvia.

Sent the car to the paint shop last week to get the front end painted in the car's colour. I've also been tweaking the suspension to get it as low as possible, was able to drop another half inch and got it properly registered since I want to use it as a daily, and it's a bit hard running without plates.

Round the back we see a license plate that finally fits the bumper, and I've switched the old Zenki lights for Kouki's. You may also notice I've made the car that little bit faster by slapping on an extra 10 HP! :troll:

And about the Golf, still not sure what to do with it. Was thinking Rat style but dunno.

    # 2jzCookie : Oh yeah I remember that beast! I think I saw it at a drift event a couple of months ago. Let me tell you, she looked healthy slaying them tires!
Thanks man, I did a couple of events from time to time but it was mostly used on the streets. On the last event, my rear bumper flew off and I cracked my right headlight but it's all good :D

    # David_2709 : If everbody is getting SR20 Nissans, I might look for a S14 too.

I'd go for an SR20 in my Silvia but can't seem to find one ((seems broken and doesn't appear in game catalog :( )), so for now I'm sticking with the the 2JZ from an old build.

Thanks to Haku, my headlights are functional. I messed around with the headlight motor fuse and made it sleepy eyed, just for the fun of it. I also fixed the seized bracket and hinge on the sunroof and now it works.

I wanted to get a S14a anyway. When I find a good offer, I'll sell my Civic si and get it.
