*a week later*
ok, wheels have arrived! 15x8 front 15x11 rear so i went to the dragstrip, and on the 1st run ever, completely untuned, i ran a 10.771 at 213kph! next up is softening the suspension and less psi on the rear tires and hopefully i'll run mid-low 10s |

Got a bit of work done on the S14 and ordered a few parts for it over the last 2 weeks. Installed full Kouki taillights, got a NISMO shifter and few other things in addition. Decided I wont go with Kouki front end just yet, but still decided to freshen up the car with the Navan kit. Next on the list will be repainting of the whole car to some maaad color and then I'll be looking for a nice set of wheels for it.

Then, the fact that Jay knows the Ferrari is on my shop, but it's not mine: And last... My Rental car ;-; A Ford Pinto : Slow as fuck, but it looks quite nice... in my opinion... Also: Suspension needs to be lowered It has been sent to get painted a red colour It's now sitting on steelies, and I shoved some sticks to keep the car up. Still no engine Replacement parts are on the way. |

Well guys, I just got back from the hospital, wasn't feeling good and they found I have some lung issues, and I decided to leave the next day, felt awful, just hopped in the 240sx and started blasting Ride Out from fast and Furious 7 in the 240, and I got home and saw some boxes outside, I ripped the engine out of the 240 and installed the new Intake and Stage 3 Intake/Exhaust cams in the RB26. Still have to dyno her, but for now, i'll rest.
I also pounded out the dents with a hammer, and installed the shocks and springs later today, I just need some spacers and new rims for her! |

You know, I really like the response I got from the Kamaro. I think I may just pick up some kind of pos older car, maybe even a pinto, and put muscle car running gear into THAT. Maybe, 2014 GT500 running gear into a 80's-90's Fiesta or Pinto. This would be totally self funded, unlike the Kamaro. Or maybe Dodge next, like, an older model Dodge with Hellcat running gear. I think I may go into the one off custom jobs business... What do you guys think I should do?

@dxg1997 Old cars with new tech? sounds good to me! Im sure they're plenty of guys who want the nostalgia of classic car with the function and drivability of a modern machine!
UPDATE: So guys, I did a thing.. The G35 is gone. I was not wrecked however. A man about 30 approached me today wile I was getting a sub at the local sandwich shop. He went on about how he liked the look of my 350gt and when realized it was a legitimate skyline he about lost it, on the spot he demanded a trade. I laughed to myself till he pulled his car from around the shop. Lancer Evolution. Low miles too. Only mod are the lowering springs. We raced to the Registration office driving each others car to make sure we were satisfied with the trade we were about to do. He was happy. And I was ecstatic. Now I own an Evo: The finished supra will be posted tomorrow. I am thinking of selling it. I want to pick up drift car. for those interested: Its is a Toyota Supra SZ AeroTop. the motor is a 2jz-ge with a twin turbo swap. I have dyno sheet in glove box. all receipts and service records This post was edited by Driftphantom (2015-04-20 03:51, ago) |

Just a small update on the rotary-golf: The stock 1.8 engine is out and I also took off the rusted hood. Now I'll visit the auto wreckers and hope that I can find all the parts I need.

Also, anyone have any recommendations for updating cars? Things like Pintos with Mustang underpinnings, Golf's with, fuck, I don't know, newer Golf underpinnings? Maybe something like a W126 Merc with CL63 parts or something? Idk, let me know what you want to see guys.

@Diablo, Well, Not really what I was thinkin. I was thinking more along the lines of a crappy car with amazing underpinnings, not a good car with better underpinnings. Things like crazy swaps and shit like that. Different model lines is basically what I'm getting at...

'70 Corvette with a Viper V10?
Pinto with Mustang internals? (You have to relocate the gas tank or it will probably kill the guy driving it when he gets an impact on the rear) AMC Pacer with a rotary engine? Crazy enough? |

I'm really leaning toward the Minto. Idk where defuq I pulled that name from. That or a Pustang. I'm thinking supercharged engine and suspension from the GT500 in a Pinto... That would be awesome... What about a C10 Skyline with R35 running gear?

And paint it minty green! xD, but the C10 GTR would be awesome, but idk if the VR38DETT would fit, with the AWD system.
