# marcus915 : So you found the most rusted out classic car chassis ever, and you managed to source every single part, a fully built 2JZ, and paint it in half a day?Totally agreed. |

Looking to get a Silvia S13. Don't want to pay any more than $2,000.00 USD so something ratty is fine (project car). If you have one please contact me as I need to get this project on the way asap. Cheers.

All my S13s are worth a lot more than that unfortunately, otherwise I'd help you. If you asked a few days ago I'd have sold you my new one.

So, I used the money from selling the Rb26, to buy this piece.
She was sitting abandoned, so I had to put some generic tires on it. It has a 4A-GZE with a really budget intercooler... Oh, and monster truck status. Shes beat up and dirty, but I already got it home and cleaned the dirt off |

So, here's some pics of the clean, but beat up 'Rolla.
Then I took all the broken parts off. The problem with them was that they weren't broke, just their hangars were. I mean, the front bumper was held on my some zip strips. I even took the exhaust off to redo the screwholes in the header. Then I rehung the parts. bought the screws that were needed, because that what rusted out. |

Sent the S14 out to get a ton of stuff done that I don't really feel confident doing myself. When it comes back in about a week it will have...
-TT Setup -Blue Paint -Tinted windows (Excluding windshield) -Fixed leaky exhaust system -New rims/brake setup So yeah in the meantime I am going to hunt for a new daily. My budget for this car is going to be $3000. And this time I plan on keeping it stock. This post was edited by ThatBoostedGuy (2015-09-06 18:10, ago) |

@Smurf, go ahead and bring your car over, I'm always down to help a friend.
The Liberty Walk kit arrived from Japan, and you can even sense the amount of dedication and craftsmanship that Kato-san put into making this kit, even before you open up the boxes and get stuff fitted. We got the GTR torn down, and the kit mocked up. We're mocking it up with the car aired out to make sure that my friend doesn't smash the kit into the ground when he's airing out. Hovercraft fitment right now, but the front splitter sits literally right on the ground. Definitely can fit some 19x13's in that wheel well. Next up I'm going to cut his fenders (oh god). And onto my own stuff. I told myself I wouldn't buy any more cars for the time being. But I just couldn't help myself. I make decent money off my job and nice cars pop up a lot in the areas I frequent. Last week I traveled up to Vancouver, BC, my hometown, to visit family. I was starting to head home in the S15 when I drove past this Sonic Silver ER34 sedan parked up on the side of the road, with a For Sale tag in the windshield. Immediately interested I decided to go hit up the guy, and needless to say after a little conversation about my car and the Skyline, I bought the ER34 for $6,000, almost all of my recent paycheck. Such a beauty. It's 1999 Sonic Silver ER34 GT-T sedan, with 87,000 km's on the clock. It's a very clean example, never been crashed before, and modified in moderation. It sits on a set of H&R 6.5 inch lowering springs on the stock struts, riding on a set of 18x9.5 MB Battles, polished. The motor is quite interesting however; It's an RB25 bottom end, with an RB26 head. Stock GT-R twin turbos and intake, but routed to an HKS FMIC. I'm not familiar with the RB powerplant so this car will be a good learning curve for me. My plans are pretty simple for now, drop it more, get some nice 3pc wheels, build the motor, but mostly just use this as a comfortable four door daily since as practical as the S15 is (its not very), it doesn't have as much trunk space as a four door and I can't carry as many people. Though, knowing me I'm probably eventually going to cage this car and forget all about my daily driver aspirations. |

All my suspension parts arived on friday, so i started tearingt the old suspension and brakes down.
got the new suspension with ajustable ridehight fitted, along with a breake kitt for a Holden VE Supercar. Got the weels and tires fitted today, and started ajusting the ridehigt. having abit of truble fitting the weels, i don't like a lot of camber, so the car is sitting higher thean i like... But i have a friend working at a rim and tire shop, so i sent the rims over to get the senter milled down. hope to get thmen back tomorow so i can lower the car more, without the car sitting ON the weels... pictures are coming ass the car is now painted again in a color thet fit the car beter.. i have driven the car this weekend, and it is alot of funn! even thith the wrong weels and ridehight! |

I dropped it on some ultra high tech suspension straight from Canada. Any of you who watches Haggard Garage gets this reference. The "Springs" are about an inch tall in total, and their black. Shes tucking SUPER hard in the rear, and I had to take the front fenders off so I could actually turn.

It doesn't help that the mod itself, thinks that the car is BARELY touching the ground xD
Added 31 minutes later: So, I borrowed a set of Weds MA86's that are 17" with some SUPER low pro tires. I want to get a set of these for myself. They look sweet on this low of a car. (Just pretend that the calipers are 1 piston. There isn't a model for them in this mod.) This post was edited by dxg1997 (2015-09-07 01:05, ago) |

@Tom, nah, I'm okay for now. The only thing I'm really looking for is a fully painted set of bumpers. Don't like the panda look on the car. Would he have something like that? Front and rear of course. and possibly a roof spoiler. (I wish this mod had something like the BN Inverted trunk on the s13)

Just a little update for you guys as I'm trying to really get into these scene.
First of all thanks for the nice comments about my Legacy RS the other day as from a players perspective, I'm actually really quite happy with how it turned out. Normally my cars don't look that clean. Now I also just made the switch from an older version of the game to BB's version so that's all going well. Also, just to make sure you guys all know before I really get into all this role playing stuff, I would like to keep a basis of cars for my builds, a daily, a weekend driver and a project build. Now to the role playing stuff. I'm looking to get a project build but I don't really know. I'm a big S-Chassis guy and I will be getting a RPS13 soon but for now, what do you guys think? I see a lot of S13s here so I'd like to branch out. I was thinking maybe a ratty old 911 or even a SC300 or Soarer of some sort, but what do you guys think? Cheers. |

Ryo was talking about exporting parts into the US since a lot of japanese made cars are driving around there. I'm not sure about a roof spoiler but he has a "regular" aftermarket spoiler. @SkidKid: A SC300 would be nice since almost everyone here had or has a S chassis build (including myself in an earlier RP) Also there seems to be an unwritten rule that you should do the RP as realistic as possible but everything else is up to you. |

Got a call from my local police department today, bad news. Turn's out, the S14 I bought was stolen. Now, I have a few choice words for my local DMV for not noticing something was off about this car, but, for now, I am halting the build on it until all this gets sorted out. I need to track down the seller ASAP if I want to have a chance of keeping this car. Local court here I come. If not, I might have a bunch of brand new S14 and CA18 parts to sell... I really hope all my money doesn't go down the shitter....
Added 8 minutes later: Ok it isn't too late to cancel some of my part orders. The only things that will be shipped are the TT kit and the lights. If anyone want's to buy anything give me a shout. Full CA18 TT Kit -2500$ Kouki Lights Kit -700$ This post was edited by ThatBoostedGuy (2015-09-07 19:28, ago) |

S13 update, finally finished the big parts of the project last night. Complete Honda Odyssey front end conversion from Spirit- Rei with matching side skirts have been installed onto the car. I found that it's fitting given it's Honda engine. Rear fenders were cut and then a rear wide fender mold was used to extend the rear arch 2 1/2 inches Stock rear bumper is now joined by a fun little carbon rear diffuser to change it up a little from traditional Odvyia styling. Car has been dropped like crazy using Vstanced coilovers, the Wilwood BBK remains and they are now covered by 18x9 Konig Afterburner wheels with the prizma lip. The brakes are a tight fit, but they do fit after all. Still available for sale if anyone wants them, otherwise they're staying on the car. Also willing to let the entire car go for $6000 as is, everything is in working order and the engine conversion was done properly, no issues there at all. Only catch is that the rear seats are missing, but I have rear seats that can go in. Let me know if you're interested in buying the car. |

oohhh.. i feel sory for you man... i hate when pepole steal cars, and then sell tem to a inosent person... hope you figure out a way that lest you keep the car!
Added 35 minutes later: i arived home from working overtime, i had forgoten my phone at home before i left this morning.. it had 36 calls, and 14 messages saying that i needed to get down to the garage at once.. i went down to find tat there had been an arsonist taha had sett fire to one side of the building. the side that our garage was on... bothe mine ans my friends car got almost destroied in the fire... after talking to the fire cheef for about four hours i convinsed him to let me get the car out.. we got the car into another garage at the other end of the building, to have a better look at it, this is what that was left of my ice white Holden Commodore all the bumpers/skirts and the wing got burned away, along with the glas that i think exploded.. but there has been a minor miracle, the engine and trans seem to be in a rescuable condition. need a bigger borr and new pistons, but i think i eam going to be able to salvage the rest of the engine. time wil tell what other stuf that burned beond repair... there's only a certain amount of wicked you can be with you halfass shit like cut springs.
Dropped the 34 on a set of HKS Hipermax two way coilovers. Sits a decent amount lower and sits really nice. Installed 5mm spacers all around just to get the wheels out a tad more, and installed a set of 35k sway bars. I'm going to order a set of new wheels soon and I'm not really sure what to order, and in the mean time I'm going to source parts to do a single turbo conversion. Also need to do an alignment as I have some slight toe in on the rear left wheel, but I can get that done along with the new wheels. Money is starting to run a little short so I might have to sell some parts and wheels I have lying around in my garage. |

(lmao I saw ur comment on a MCM video skid)
Seeing that someone is getting an SC300, I thought about it and decided why not. I found one for 2400 out of valo and jumped on it right away. It already has a Recaro seat and some weird ass rear wheels that are curb rashed to hell. A full strait pipe into 45 degree Boso bend for a tip. This guy must not know what coils are because this car is MexiFlush af, and the best part that will save my ass some work. A welded LSD. It has its fair share of bumps & scratches, but drift car amirite? Heres some pics. I've also started sticker production for my starting drift group called ZipTie Nation, grab your stickers for free now. This post was edited by JDMgoatleg (2015-09-08 03:22, ago) |
