@2jzcookie that BNR32 is so clean!
@Driftphantom love that clean BNR34, looks good the way it is, don't ruin it! I turbo'd the RPS13, but I went with custom v-mount setup instead, so when I go off the track like I always do I won't destroy my intercooler setup. |

Speaking of Skylines, I picked one up from a local guy who just didn't have time for it anymore to replace my Trueno.
It came with an RB26DETT that's in some rough shape. The oiling system is basically shot, The engine has run a bearing and more than likely destroyed the crankshaft and connecting rod as well. Makes a loud knock when I try to run it. So engine work is a must. Might even try to find an N/A RB26. Also came with a nice little wide body kit, vstanced running gear and some recaro seats. I took the wheels and tires off my Trueno and slapped them on on this. I only got around to lowering the rear, the front is still the same height the previous owner had it. |

I'll sell you an RB26 NA exhaust header for $250 right now if you come and get it, it's pretty mint, I never ended up using it on a project I used to have. Stop by my shop and we'll do whatever you need done to the RB, I'll hook you up with some good prices since you're a forum local.

Yo!
Well, yesterday I went to Lewis Dobson's house, then we fixed the exterior, and well, made Zetec swap with a turbo kit he had on his house... Then, I took it to another friend's garage on North Valo, for make the suspension, rims and interior! That's it for now |

Got the car towed to the shop , and started to strip it. The engine was blown , and the interior too was in bad conditions , but was going to be stripped anyway.
Stripped , cleaned , & got the old exhaust system off. Old suspension setup New one. TRD suspensions & rear subframe , Cusco anti-roll bars & differential , ACPT carbon driveshaft , Blistein adjustable springs & shocks , AP front brakes (rear ones are stock replacement parts , because I may put on 15" drag rims -and front skinnies- in the future , but I was on shortage of 15" drag tyres , so I decided to go with 19x13 / 19x11 and Goodyear Control 295/35s & 245/35s) , also it's got new exhaust -Greddy Power Extreme Off-road class- and a carbon muffler -HKS Carbon Competition Series , with a 2.5 inch tip- Installed the roll-cage , Bride Zeta III race seat (with Takata seatbelts) , Momo GT wheel (pedals are from Momo too) , TRD short shifter , hydraulic handbrake and a new gauge cluster from TRD. Exterior bodyparts mock-up. The fit was ok , so we got them painted. Added windows & glasses , also added some fake lights (they aren't stickers but they have just the shape and color of the real ones. But for the headlights I went for a tinted cover with intakes). Got the nitrous bottles (from NOS , polished , 24 pounds each) and the rear strut tower brace -from Cusco- New engine & Cusco strut tower bar (also underhood parts & wiring is from Cusco). I've built a few Supras , and ever went with twins , this time I tried a single turbo. The engine (mated with a reinforced W58 5-speed) has a stock block with HKS 3.4 forged stroker kit , TRD oil pan , flywheel & ceramic clutch set , and oil filter. Apexi air filter & oil cooler. Tom's 6-throttle intake manifold , HKS header & catless DP with screamer pipe , methanol fuel rail & 1400cc injectors , belt , valve cover & cover insert , NOS wet system (set at 992 lb/hr , so 343 hp) , GReddy GT4088 turbo , race-spec intercooler & piping , Koyo radiator with Samco hoses , Powerhouse Racing CNC-ported head (with too many goodies.. things like HKS reinforced titanium valves & TRD spring retainers.) and Greddy 300/300 cams. Thanks to the light bodyparts & the stripped interior , the car weights in at 2886 Tuned , dyno run (not on NOS) : Turbo is set at 29.39 psi. Will post a drag strip time soon. |

To bad that was the last race with my Ae86 this season.. :c I'm thinking of doing an engine swap and give her some new paint and maybe change to a new bodykit:) Ohh. And here's a pic on the little demon sleeping in the garage the night after the race: |

Well I got my turbokit for the Kolf (renamed the Golf since it's a K24 swap) and got some other cool stuff as well. New intake system, Mugen cylinder head cover and high compression pistons. Also a new oil pan with a radiator. The engine bay looks fantastic now and the car is producing crazy power, over 600HP to be exact, a bit overkill for FWD but that's the way I like it!

SO now i'm trying to get my Ae86 ready for a drift event next month and there's gonna be some sponsors at that even. Our goal for that event is to get at least one sponsor so i guess the engine swap will have to wait.. :c I i have lots of stuff i have to do on the car before the race but hopefully i get her ready in time |

Hi guys! My name Jeff. I just moved in from the east and looking forward to settle here with my soon to be wife. Part of the reason we're moving here is because we just got our jobs here out of college and partly to have a distance away from our parents who constantly walk in on us during our, shall we say, exciting adventure time in the bedroom.
Currently this is our humble little turd. Got it when I begged me parents to get a loan for me so I could drive to school. I admit I was a bit sly as I fooled them that it was just a little eco turd box when you and i know its a Ralliart colt. Paid a whopper of 20 or so grand for this pre-owned. Ive been loving the mod scene all my life but alas being a student, i dont have the kind of luxury that some kids do at school in modding. The only modding i got on this puppy are some evo 10 bbs stockies. Even that was given to me by a mate! and that red Brembo caliper? yea thats fake Still with the job that ive got, the so called modding dream is about to be real. With the loan of the turd very close to be fully paid, i plan to transfer it to the missus. Oh yes! she is quite a driver herself. except thats about it with her. ask her to change the bulb in the headlight and she'll end up flirting with me just so she could throw the work to me. Hope i would be welcomed in this community! |

Welcome to Valo, the pearl of california! You can find any kind of car here for a reasonable price. If you ever need help in modding your car, there are several tuning and service garages around.
@lajen: Indeed you can help; I'd like to know if someone has a SR20DET for sale. According to the rules I can put a SR20 in there since it is an I4 and the car came with a CA18DE (I4) from the factory. |

Thank you for the warm welcome Tom! You were'nt kidding when you talk about the car prices here. Just saw this being put up for sale as i was walking to a pizza place with me girl for dinner.
Incidentally, as we were having our rather excellent double pepperoni, i saw the same guy who was putting the subie just now up for sale walking in. Immediately walked up to him and expressed my interest. quite a young chap actually. he said the car has got an exhaust, wheels and springs and wants only 4 grand for the whole lot. how could i possibly say no! with exchange of a handshake, he told me to come by a garage nearby the next day where the paperwork will be done. |

@Tom Diablo: I look around and see if anyone has one:)
Well this is pretty much how the Ae86 looks like right now, i've removed the hood, headligts, both front quarter panels and front bumper so it's easier to reach and so i don't scratch the panels while i'm working in the engine, I also had to change the front windshield cus i had this giant crack in it.. I don't why but i just have to be the most unluckiest guy here... just after i removed all the parts i was going to start the car and move it a little longer in the garage, just when it started the radiator cracked and broke... so now i have to buy a new one... Oh.. But one good thing i have sent the seats away to get some new and a little darker texture:D This post was edited by lajen (2015-07-19 17:48, ago) |

BAM! Back into the scene!
Whats up guys! I'm back, been away because I've been working hard on the Corolla! The thing in the crate was actually a Jun 3.2 stroked 2JZ-GE, and some fender flares. Apparently, Jun has heard of my hoonage (no clue how) and wants to sponsor me in a drifting competition, so they sent me their base engine. 269 hp, which is more then the engine I got with the car (131 hp) and the engine i bought earlier in the week (196 hp). They gave me exhaust, differential, driveshaft, transmission, everything. I picked up a set of RS Watanabes, because I've always loved how they look on these cars, and some overfenders. I chopped up my oe fenders, bolted these on, and added spacers to the wheels. She looks SEXY AF right now imho. |

The Resurrection Part 1
I also found this, abandoned in the Valo Pick-A-Part, and surprisingly, no-one there knew how it got there, and no parts were missing. However, the turbo's are fucked, all the impellers are broke, the head gasket and the oil pan gasket are shot, the cam timing is way off, the belts are deteriorated and cracking to pieces, seal on the roof is basically rock now, not rubber, rear driver side shock and springs are collapsed, and the brake rotors are gone. like, rusted and pitted. All the parts are here though, and just need a little TLC. For now, I'm going to put one of my 4A-GE's into it, just to move it around while I rebuild the 2j. I picked her up for a staggering 2 grand, mostly because the people had something to put in the cars place. Unfortunately, it was another Supra, this one a hard top, and no turbo, but the body was straight(ish) with the rear bumper dented in a bit. Poor thing. Hope someone takes care of it. Added 2 hours 13 minutes later: I pulled the engine, and started to strip it down to the block Here's whats left of the turbos Pulled the intake and exhaust off Pulled the cams, and the cam cover Off with its head! Here you can see whats left of the gasket that protects the engine. Tipped it over so I could remove the oil pan Got the crank, conrods, and pistons out Now, I have just a block. I sent it to be cleaned thoroughly, and I'm talking to JUN about some parts for my new tire shredder... This post was edited by dxg1997 (2015-07-20 03:01, ago) |

@Tom, I have an SR20DET motor you can use from one of my old S-Chassis builds, my grey hatch that a friend totaled. I have the motor sitting on a stand in the corner of my shop if you want to swing by and pick it up. I'd say $2000 for the ready to run motor but I'll wiggle on the price a bit.

So got my first purchase
Its pretty rough all around. Every panel has a mark be it scratched, rust or just dirty grot. The front right seems to be the worst though. I assume the subie has been through everything from rallying to straight up street races. Absolutely knackered. A look in the engine bay didnt make my day either. The guy told me the original turbo was blown and he just fabricated an exhaust to fill up the space. Which really is embarrassing as this car has STI go fast bits all around when it clearly isnt a go fast car currently. Mind you, the highlight of all this mockery lies at the back. As the deal came to a close, the lovely lady of my life turned up outside the garage and has already done mods of her own on the turd. I would like to apologise in advance if anyone was insulted from both our cars in advance. Currently, Im looking for an exhaust shop to fix up the pipe under the subie as it clearly sounds blown. Probably a body shop as well as bodywork and paint arent really my thing. Any recommendations the good people of valo? |

So while I was driving around in my Kolf the new daily, I found a M3 E36 on sale, the car looked pretty bad and the owner said it had been left on the driveway and the handbrake ended up breaking due to overuse in handbrake turns (trying to attract ladies I presume) so the car rolled into a pole freely. After a little chat the owner said that this M3 is not your usual M3 and boy it isn't. In the engine bay there is a LS3 N/A engine which produces 357HP and has 439Nm of torque. And on that moment I decided that I have to have this M3, so I bought it for 1500$ and here she is
The car also has different colored parts which i'll end up painting black like the chassis, and I'll black out the headlights as well as the taillights, I might put the M3 spoiler on it but I'm not sure yet. I could use a engine experts help with the LS |

Just got a pic from my bro on his skyline after the race at spa.. the car look in really bad shape.. he hit the wall at his last lap so hard that the rim cracked but luckily he had a stock wheel left so he at least can move the car around.. the front bumper quarter panel and right skirt broke to..
That sucks.. now he can't go to the race at akina.. but hey the good thing is that he could walk away from the crash without any injuries that's always something:) |

My 1993 Cobra with chrome Bullits (19x11 & 19x13 / 245/35 & 295/35). Stock trans (T5) , rebuilt traction-lok (with 45% locking) , I've upgraded the engine a while ago (
, and I've just mounted an . Turbo set at 6 psi , pump gas , just clocked a 10.24 @ 102.9 on the quarter mile. Since 500hp is considered the "reliability limit" of a 302 stock block/shortblock (and my trans is also stock) , my engine is on borrowed time. I'm thinking about a stroker or a new shortblock , suggestions anyone ? I'm also about to pick a new LX (it's an ex daily driver , stock) , they're more used in drag racing. I may also sell this Cobra , contact me if interested. |

Hey Tom, just saw your CA18DET and it looks in good nick, I'll take your engine off your hands, how does $750 sound?. I'm coming over seas for a while and I have a S13 build back here in the UK that I'm working on, much like yours in the picture. I'll sort out the transporting of the engine, don't worry. There's alot of paperwork I'll have to fill out beforehand though, all the regulations crap we go through for shipping, you know? I hope this works for you and message me if the price is right, or you could always drop the offer more, haha. |

@Jdmsly I'd be down to help out. I've done countless JZ swaps so I know my way around these motors.
So a lot of work has gone into the RPS13, have my coilovers adjusted even lower, and adjusted the spring rates, stiffen everything up a lot. Brought it over to a local shop to get a cage done up. Also, Bride seat installed with Takata harnesses. Also, I bought a set of Origin Lab +35mm overfenders, and I have a bit of a debate. I have a set of widened S13 front fenders on the car, but I really want to do a strawberry conversion; an S15 front end. S15 front ends are sexy as all hell but can't go wrong with a trusty Sleighty...UGH. |
