Just bought my car for $700. Engine runs REALL strong, 2.2L flat 4, pinhole in exhaust, AWD. Shes not a show car, but I love it. All the electronics work, annnd i have new headlights and wheels on order. I need to pull the interior out and vacuum out the carpet. There's fries stuck to it. Just gonna pull the seats, and go from there. I'll take more pictures once I get her back to the house. Engine bay, probably a video of her starting and idling. Probably close to a whole, mega sized, 120 hp. 135 from factory, at the wheels.

Time to show you what I use to commute on the Autobahn: '99 Passat TDI 90hp base model. Nothing special and bone stock but reliable. Already has 253k km on the clock and still going good I won't lower it or anything, the car has a very good suspension already. Could cut a corner with almost 65km/h when the front tires started squealing XD The rims are Ronal R42's wrapped in Bridgestone Ecopia tires. No rust whatsoever

@Tom, I wish we were in the same area. I would love to line the Legacy up next to that. The highest I've had it was only 60, but that's cuz it needs new oil BAD. Vid of it below.

Did a bit of an upgrade on the Legacy today...
Swapped out the shitty 30 watt front speakers for some awesome 80 watt Pioneer speakers, next, suspension. I just had the Pioneers on hand, didn't pay nothin for them. Trying to find a good deal on new springs and shocks. Preferably some that are preloaded. |

i changed the speakers in my house mates liberty(australian name for legacy) with that 3 screw speaker and it was a prick to make a new bracket for the door to hold a normal 4 screw speaker hahaha

Yeah, mine came right out. The 3 screws are a bit small for me though. I took the speaker out and was like, oh shit, their sodered in place. Didn't realize they were plug and play. Gonna get anew head unit and an amp sometime. Might even stuff a sub somewhere in the car lol

^ You got a nice Legacy wagon man, always loved those things.
So I won an Auction on Yahoo Japan, and these babies should be coming in for the 240 soon. 17x8.5 up front and 17x9.5 rear. Mounting some Federal RS-R 215/40 on them for some real nice strech. |

I love the tire choice man, however not a big fan of the wheel choice, I'd personally rather get real aftermarket or OEM, cant stand reps after my misfortune event with a set of XXR's but being on a budget I understand your choice.
However keep scrounging craigslist man, you find some crazy deals on wheels and tires. Keep us updated though, would love to see the progress on the wagon, or make a thread on Stanceworks or something. Thanks lol, I got lucky and got these for 460 bucks shipped to my place, Yahoo Japan is great |

Yeah, I think the wheels will look okay on teh Legacy. I got HUUUUUUGE plans for her.
That horrible patch job is getting gone. Gonna replace both rear quarterpanels, and the rear bumper. Gonna look for a dual exhaust kit, and makes the pipes coming out of the engine unequal length so I get some burble, and paint the whole car once I get the quarters and bumper. Got the color picked out, my buddy works at an automotive shop, and hes got this WICKED blue pearl thing. basically, its the Subaru blue color, with purple, and a little green and a few other pearl and flake in it. Gonna paint the car and the wiper arms. Haven't seen any cars with painted wiper arms the same color as the body. eventually, gonna swap the EJ22 out for a EJ25T, and change the whole exhaust system. Change all the stereo, brakes (gonna look for some 4 piston Brembo's hopefully, and crossdrilled rotors), and maybe Angel Eye headlights. It's gonna be the baddest wagon on the block. My REAL goal is to get it to the point where it can keep up with, and overtake, my dad's 2010 Camaro SS Added 20 minutes later: This is what I plan on making it look like eventually (don't mind the super shitty edit) This post was edited by dxg1997 (2015-06-22 05:08, ago) |

So, dad won a Sig-Sauer AR-15 .22 in a raffle and we went to pick it up today. Of course, had to go test it. Pulled into some overgrown path and fired off some shots. The Legacy pulled right through the weeds, but the mosquitoes fuckin killed us! Decided to get some pics of the beast in the weeds.

I bought parts for the Legacy. I got some AWESOME Bosch Icon wipers for the front and a Trico Flex for the rear.
The old wipers were fuckin mismatched. It had a Duralast, an Anco, and a Rain-X wiper I found a bullet shell in the hatch area in the car xD Here's the new rear wiper. The Trico Flex Here's what else I got for the car... Because my alternator/Power Steering belt is kinda shot... As well as the A/C belt |
