Sad to hear about the 4A-GE. If you buy a new one, come by Predator Tuning Garage East for an engine tune up if you want. I'm not really busy.
BIG NEWS!So yesterday, I was cruising with my recently cleaned up Ferrari down the highway, and decided totake it to the city and see what other's reactions would be. The steelies actually are quite durable, despite the rust. Immediately when I get off the highway, I get greeted by this: And I knew I encountered the younger Bugatti brother... His Bugatti is nothing but rice. It has an ugly as fuck V-tory bodykit thing for the front, and some BBS rims. Engine wise, it's bone stock. I couldn't hear any turbos or a Supercharger. Anyway, he challenged me to a race by driving behind me. I floored it, meaning I accepted. First quarter was a good one for him. He was winning, until a corner came up. He decided to show off to his girlfriend who was riding shotgun by doing a small drift. He spun out, but got back on his track quickly. However, it was too late for him. I had won the lead, and I kept it until I outran him. He couldn't catch up, I don't really know why, but it sounded like something was wrong with his engine. Anyway, the next day, I took my Prelude for a ride. I stopped on a small market to buy some necessary stuff like water, and I see this: I made it to the cover of one of the most popular tuning magazines. Without even knowing it. While I was looking at it, the shopkeeper told me this: "This guy is really something for putting up a fight against a Bugatti Brother. Everybody panics when they see one challenging them, but that guy just simply whooped his ass with a Ferrari that looks like a barn find. If you want to go against one of them, your Prelude won't do. No matter what upgrades you've done to it, there has been no car to win against a fight with the Bugatti Brothers, until this Ferrari appeared outta nowhere. Whichever is the case, good luck with your street racing."I thanked him for the useful information, bought the magazine along with the other stuff, and went home.I opened the magazine to read the article. Here it is guys: Well, if the kid is right about one thing, is about the Ferrari's condition. The engine does indeed sound terrible because it's well... missing some horses, and it's exterior isn't something that speaks speed. Which is why I'm going to completely overhaul the engine, and paint the car a nice red. I'm not planning to give it a Challenge bodykit for now, but that may change. As for the Prelude, a twin turbo system is on the way. Until then, I'll be using the Impala to cruise around. It turns a lot of heads when I drive it. Do something impossible. Extraordinary!
On other news, guess who paid a visit to PTG East. If only he knew... I just acted normal. He actually knew about my Impala, and really admired it. He didn't really have a strong opinion about my Prelude. He looked a little troubled with what happened. I just acted neutral and just told him to "Be careful, because you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. That Ferrari is bigger than what you're expecting" Me and my fucking big mouth >_< I need to see what I can do to get out of this... a racing Ferrari engine from a 288 GTO? Anyway, here's what he requested: 1. Repair engine 2. Twin Turbos 3. Lowered suspension 4. Fix the damn spoiler 5. New wheels. You should choose them. Also, you can keep the BBS dude. 6. Weight reduction 7. Rollcage maybe? 8. Racing console. 9. Please get rid of the V-tory crap 10. I'll pay for all this I knew it! His engine had a problem! He said he'll leave it on my garage, and told me to call him when I am done with it. I actually am going to enjoy upgrading my enemy. And judging by the list he made, he's planning to go full Race car on the Veyron. This post was edited by Facepalm (2015-04-15 22:59, ago) |

All this talk about civics and getting featured made me want to show my daily some love the ep3 got some new rubber today. Toyo proxes stretched to the max haha. They look amazing on my 17x10 Kranze. All that stretch was all because I planned on removing the helper springs on my skunk2 coils and spun them down for the ultimate street sweeper. Now I ride rim on the rear. I hope to get featured one day (:

@Tom Diablo Sorry man, I already picked this up before I checked this forum again!
So, I was browsing Valolist, when I came upon this thing. It's in great condition for what it is, but it's going to need a lot of work. She came with a Nonturbo RB26, but I'm probably going to put a L28 in it and do something else. It came with some other parts, so once I got home I tossed them on. What color should I get it? I was thinking Midnight Blue or a BRG. |

Hey guys! It's been a long week for me, meanwhile I thank everyone from PTG Garage and Team High Boost for helping me out with my 350Z!! Here's the reveal of the cars current setup! Enjoy the pics!
Here's a new project I picked up from a guy who was just tired of this car sitting in his yard, I picked it up for $500, just a rolling chassis for now, needs an engine. |

# JdmSly : Haku lets run m8 The only car I have that wont walk on your honda right now is my KA24DET 240SX, and it's pretty wonky right now Updates for myself, R33 is under the knife again. Engine plans, you'll see. R32 is still a great Daily S13 is back in action but hasn't seen much action except a couple shakedown runs, not sure if I posted pics or not. Technically the C10 Dually isn't my truck anymore as it's registered as my shop's truck, but it sees plenty of love and use. Also attends some shows when our project cars go to them. Between photoshoots and long hours at the shop I co-own with my mate, income is rather good. A Honda project actually seems plausible so I've been looking around and I think I might get one. I'm already planning it out in my head. |

Same here XD The tow truck is mainly for the PTG's towing service. Every time I hear Avicii - Levels in the radio, I think of the sweet turbocharged MK2 Golf a buddy of mine used to own. He used to play that tune when he showed up with that thing. I had my Civic back then but I've always wanted a Golf just like that one. Back to my german roots, y'know? Now I'll search for a cheap Golf Mk2. @Smokie: Yea, the 350Z turned ou really nice. I just can't recall if the anime girl was your idea... I like it! @Facepalm: I really like that magazine! Maybe I'll pay you a visit in the S13. I'll keep it until the event dxg talked about is over. |

Here is everything you need to know about what I've just done to the R33.4.
I took it down to where my previous shop was as the new owners specialize in Nissan engines. It's not that I couldn't do it in my own shop, it was that they had all the parts I needed readily available and the time would be much less than if I had to order everything on my own. Whole engine was removed from the bay and the top end was taken off of my RB26. Waiting for me was this. an RB26 bottom end with a stroker kit making it a bored 2.8L engine (RB28) Next Top end is reinstalled and double checked for any issues, new exhaust manifold is fitted for big single turbo action. Final steps Turbo By Garrett GT5533R is installed onto exhaust manifold, down pipe is modified to fit single turbo setup, new intercooler piping for single turbo instead of twin, fluids are topped up and fresh 100 Octane is put into the car. Engine fires up with no issues and sounds much scarier than before. I am excited to dyno this thing. Meanwhile, I have picked up my mentioned honda project. Now if any of you were around from the very start of this thread, you would know that my first car was an Acura Integra. That car was absolutely great. It had a B18 from a JDM integra, full suspension and wheel upgrades, big brembos, and it was a quick (245HP) daily and first car. The car was written off, however, but I still have bits and pieces that I have no gotten rid of. Today I found the perfect project. 1997 Acura Integra rolling shell. Now you may be wondering why I'd buy such a bare car. I actually haven't. Many of the essential components of this car actually did come with it, but they were not fitted. They are in a bin in the shop. This car has a 4 lug set up that I may or may not convert to 5 lug. It comes with some late 80's accord wheels that I'll get rid of, momo steering wheel, stock acura seats, wiring components, as well as some headlights. From my old car I also have bits. From the old car; Trunk with Type R style badge, rear bumper, both side skirts. What hasn't been installed from old car; UKDM tail lights, Type R wing. Stay tuned for more honda goodness, I do have some big plans for this car and I'm not going the B series route engine wise. Oh also the reason I bought this car is because it was rust free and under $500 (an absolute bargain) |

So, yeah, I attended the car show with the Kamaro, and there was a HUGE buzz about it. There was just a giant crowd around it. I was the first one there, so I managed to grab a few pics of it. I saw one of the representatives standing around it too, which both scares me and excites me.... He had been there even longer then I had. I went to get a drink, from one of the many booths, and he dissappeared. xD Also, the truck went to SEMA (unfortunetly, i didn't but I got full credit for building it) and, there was buzz about it there. We've had a large spike in our business at the shop.

Meanwhile at my shop.........
Well the 240sx is off to get a rollcage made for it as I said in the previous post. So to keep my self busy I took on a brakejob. Turns out my nephew wanted beefier brakes for his subi soo I hooked him up! The car is a 1990 Subaru Legacy RS. It has seen better days but keep in mind my nephew is still in college so money is tight for him. Allthough he is good with the money therefore he wants me to swap the stock brake discs, caliper, and pads for some Brembo ones. Cant go wrong with Brembos! So I got the car up on my new invisble(U wot m8) jackstands and started working. Had to break out the hammer and also a heater to get the stock ones loose since years of grime had claimed them. Eventually got them off though. Got the brand new brakes fitted. While I was in there I also changed the brake lines since they had start to crack on us. Went for some OEM brake lines I picked up at a subi-dealer close by. So after they were fitted I cleaned the discs real good with brake-cleaner and got the wheels fitted and the car was off to my nephews house! Got some cash for it so that will go towards future 240 mods :p |

@Smokiegun It has happened! I have officially joined the 350z/G35 community. We should get a sticker made
And here she is: 2004 Nissan 350gt Yes you saw right, this is a Skyline. I went to the same dealer who sold me the ep3 because they have a loyalty program. When I asked if they had any G35s available they through this at me, instantly I was in love. The test drive proved to be amazing too. I love the rear wheel drivetrain and that v6 up front just screams potential. So with that, I traded he civic no hesitation. Here she is at home: The only complaint I have right now (coming from a completely slammed car) are these monster truck tires on it. I mean they are FREAKING HUGE! take a look: First thing is first, those have to go. I still have my wheels off the civic before I traded it in, but they are too small for this boat. So now they are up for sale or trade. IF anyone wants to purchase some Wed Kranze Bazreia wheels in 17x10 just hit me up. 2,000 firm or we can trade just show me what you got Pictures on request. looking for 19inchers |

Okay, so I'm getting to know East Valo better now. And I'm not liking the part I'm seeing now...
So I got on me Prelude to go get me turbos, when I see this: A group of ricers attempted to torch this old man's Kadett, after beating it up. The Kadett is now sitting on my garage, awaiting repairs. Meanwhile, I heard someone say this: "Yeah they're REALLY going for that guy's Impala. They don't like anything that is old or not riced. He should be careful... Very..." Looks like that group of ricers was just a preview of what's awaiting me on Eastern Valo. Meanwhile, I've taken the Impala somewhere safe. Also: Engine got mended Spoiler is now going up and down normally. Got it sanded and ready for paint. Removed fallen parts. Turbos are installed. |

# Driftphantom : Thanks got big plans! and Yeah man long time no see, Ill meet up with ya just tell me where Alright man I can meet you at your place, just give me a few minutes. Just had to tow the R33 back to the shop but I could use a drink now man __ So the other night I told Facepalm I'd head out to the East Valo highway, I wasn't lying either. I parked up by the highway entrance and waited to see if some other people would show up and soon enough, some people did. I ended up racing this guy in a supra, he claimed he had 900+ HP at the wheels and by the looks of it, it was highly plausable, so we went for a run. He had me for a while up until the tunnels, but he started to let off and having less fear and more horsepower, I went for the outside to pass. I ended up beating him by a few more car lengths by the end of the tunnel. Next I raced this Ferrari F430 Stradale pushing about 800HP. We ran for almost a lap of the highway pretty even but he ended up having to pull off dude to mechanical issues. So fast forward to tonight, I was out killing time running the highway when this E36 pulls up behind me and flashes his high beams at me. I line up with him and wait for him to gun it, he immediately takes the lead. as we come around one of the corners I start to gain on him. I move to the outside to pass him but he slams on the breaks and turns into directly where I'm about to be. I can't stop in time and I slam into the back of his car. I ended up pushing his car into the wall of the tunnel, my front end following hitting at about 80 KM/H before spinning to the right. It felt like the car was going to flip but it just spun around again before coming to a full stop. Then other guy fled. The R33 is once again broken. |

I think I'm going to let it sit for a little while right now before I think about fixing it. Tomorrow I'm going to assess the the damages on the car and see if it's worth fixing. The car was leaking a lot of fluid and I'm afraid of possible chassis damages. I appreciate the offer to help, maybe down the road. You can still hang out with us though man, you're welcome to join us. |
