Ok so after a long while I decided I should do a topic about my car so here it is:
This is my rosso tiziano 1.4 77hp Fiat Albea So I've been going to the track recently and the pictures actually do justice of the handling(took out the wheel caps becuase weight reduction bro) lil gif Little footage from the track Apex life yo Rip tires This is the accurate representation of the car's handling on the track I also parked my car in the ditch in January because understeer is life Resprayed my front grille and the sideskirts Did my high beam with yellow tint And now I fucked my engine and gotta repair it This is how it sounds Sound sample |

I love the pics, i love the car, your face looks really romanian(no offence meant), the color is awesome, love the yellow headlights, that is how it *sounded, overtaking on the right lane is dicky.
Hope you manage to fix it and this time try driving with more care. |

thanks BB. It wasn't quite an overtake it was a "fast cruising speed so chaning lane would be the best option in this case" situation
And the engine was my own fault because I didn't mark the timing belt and ended up bending my valves Either way if I decide on doing more to the car I will keep updating the topic |

Actually the maintenance on my fiat is cheaper than the romanian Dacia Logan which is the equivalent of this so it's not that bad.(Don't forget we are talking about MAINTENANCE not valves and cylinder head replacements )
@Dr.Zoom we are talking about big family sedans not coupes |

It is a nice little car mate! And you got great pictures taken of it! Nice to see you take it close to it's limits.
Sry for the sec issues you got! Also you don't see those to often on Romanian streets! (been there form time to time work wise) So for the quality of fiats... I had a Cinquecento Sporting for one Summer and it was a brilliant little car! I think every one has it's personal feelings about car brands so I (personally) would never have a car-quality chat with the owner of a car we here call Ford Fiasco! |

@saleti thanks man,the car is actually quite common here but you know how it is,you don't notice it until you own it
I've also driven a cinquecento, mad little cars and about quality....I mean the car was brand new 5.9k euros so you can't expect much of it since we talk about Fiat wich is made cheap(Albeas were built in Turkey at Tofaş factory) and wasn't aimed for quality.Basically it serves its purpouse for a 6k car if you ask me. @mr.stance I belive the siena fire has a different rear end than Albea but yea basically same car |

So basically I was too lazy to update my thread but I'll power trough it.So here it is:
The events I'm describing won't be in a particular order, they vary from late late 2017 up to early 2019. I blacked out the headlight interior for mad looks Also installed a mad 1 dollar gummi front lip This was the pirate version so I could get myself used to the black ones and try finding differences in light beam power Then I decided that my car wasn't slow enough so I cut the muffler so everyone could know how slow I am This is a friend of mine who lifted the muffler. It weighs 14 kilos,I wonder why Midway I discovered a slick duck taped polo.I AM NOT EVEN JOKING Then the unexpected happend and I did a frontal boom boom with a Ford Focus which didn't have a single scratch but when I looked at mine...aaayy blyat Took off the bumper which didn't even crack Lucky me it was only a broken radiator and a slightly deformed trager which I straightened it by tying it to a pole then push the car by hand until it straightened itself back to the original position....almost Got a new radiator and put it in easily As I previously mentioned above in another post,I bent the valves by putting the timing belt incorrectly and had to spend a hefty amount on repairs. After that the front crash happened and decided to put a sticker on my car which I personally think it suits it the most Then I graduated from highschool (never saw that one happening but hey at least I'm done with that part of my life) I gathered enough money to fix the car's engine(with my parents help) after the bent valves just in time before graduation,so it was like a graduation gift .I was so happy that my car ran again that I actually cried when I first started it after 2 months of sitting dead.(can't find the video of the first startup. It was nothing special but definitely muy importante for me). After I graduated and started mechanical engineering university I noticed the fact that I learned how to push my car to the max in traffic and on the local touge so I thought about an upgrade.Something new, something fresh. There was at some point something bothering my mind about getting another car like an older model of bmw or some kind of older japanese car. (I am a big fan of retro cars and I absolutely adore the 60's-90's of car era) I thought about it a lot then it came to my mind that if I have this car which has crazy low mileage and new valves (wonder why )and I already mastered it's limits then I considered it was time to make it fun and challenging again.Did lots of documentation, learned about the fact that my engine despite being reliable and well known around other car platforms it's actually untouched by anyone and I don't have the resources to R&D parts especially for this engine. Then an idea struck my mind.I should get suspensions because why not.Again did lots of documentation and learned the hard way that even tho they look the same,Fiat grande punto suspensions won't fit my car at all. Smart me bought the suspension brand new with the mindset that adapters might be available.Guess what?
So I gave up on the car thingy for a while, went out to meet new people as I got bored of old group.Met new people, even crazier than me,made new friends and my car flame lit up again. So I decided into getting brakes and guess what?Semislicks because who wouldn't put semis on a family sedan. So here it is: Initially I wanted some zimmermann brakes but I got brembos because thats what they had on stock at that exact moment .Also had a debate with a close friend of mine (the one lifting the muffler)about what tires to buy and we ended up agreeing that Federal 595rs pros are best bang for buck.(which aren't even close to the best price/performane) So the day came when I wanted to install everything on my car so I did: Got up early in the morning, got the wheels I bought(I bought these when back when I asked you guys to photoshop wheels on my car) Got them all nice and mounted on the federals which are 205/50 R15 So I started replacing the brakes as the discs were eaten but not the pads (strange) and it was a pain in the ass to remove the discs as they stuck to the hub like a gold digger to wealthy grandpa. Old vs new Motherfucker put up quite a fight video1 video2 Sadly I'm running stock suspension and the rear suspension is so soft that if I carry things in the rear and people on the backsit it rubs over bumps There are both sides ^ and this is the rear left tire Oh and a few things I've forgotten to mention is that I tried doing a shortshifter, didn't work;broke the plastic, Did a nice active subwoofer and it was a fuckfest of wires Aaaaaand somebody decided that my paintjob was too good and decided to engrave "fuck you" on my hood P.S crappy picture quality because all were shot from my phone almost everytime on a rush Edit: Forgot to add 2 videos and mention a few things.Managed to break the arm rest off the passenger side and did a nice tow strap holder aaaaand my car starts at cold like an old carburetor but I'm not I actually like it DOOR HANDLE CLICK COLD START VIDEO CLICK CLICK This post was edited by BLiTZ (2019-03-28 16:31, ago) |

thanks guys ,you brightened up my day.
@buzzsaw @doge low would have happened if the suspensions would have fit @sleepin monkey problem is that my car was also sold in mass in turkey but no turk will respond to my messages asking if they ship to Romania because I need a steering wheel hub adapter and lowering springs/suspensions.(I also forgot to mention that I wrote them in English in hopes that I might get a response but nothing so far...) @bb93 thanks man,@Sm I wouldn't paint them white because brake dust shows strongly trough bright colors, that's also why I didn't paint the calipers. |

Theres is no such thing as "doesn't fit", it always fits, you just have to make it
Looks a bit crappy ( will fix that) but it works.

I did the same hahaha with mine no worries but in order to fit rear springs off a grande punto I need to send the whole rear axle to someone who can mold it then make out a new piece which would fit there directly,Not only it would cost more than the suspension itself but my car would sit stranded for up to 2 weeks because of being disassembled

Nono I'm building this as a grip car, cutting springs will only result in handling loss.My plan at the moment is, after the trackday which will happen sunday i will roll the rear fenders and install the rear shock absorbers from the suspension kit that I got for grande p.the car won't really feel much stable but it won't wobble and rub over bumps like it does right now.Especially the fact that the rear is very very light.(If I punch the throttle in a roundabout then lift off half way the front still grips but the rear comes out very easly)

Bad news: if i recall correctly punto mk1 and bravo mk1 rear springs fit 1:1 D:
Might have to ask Pro7 though, i'm sure he can confirm or dismiss what i said Added 42 seconds later: # doge : Theres is no such thing as "doesn't fit", it always fits, you just have to make it You should install it behind the door card... |

Thing is punto and bravo are both hatchbacks.Palio came as hatchback and wagon but not as the retarded sedan that I have.So getting parts for it is difficult.I share the same brake pads code with Siena and guess what?Same engine same chassis BUT DIFFERENT BRAKEPADS AND CALIPERS FFS
