2/14/17- New car!
With a heavy heart I can say that the RSX is gone after multiple setups, 2 engines and 160k miles, she is off to a new owner that will treat her just as well, if not better than I have. BUT I did not leave this transaction empty handed. I told you I was looking for a trade of equal/greater value as I was not disappointed. I am not V$1,000 richer, and we can all say hello to my new BMW: Say hello to my 05 BMW m3 (e46). The paint is Mystic Blue Metallic, which I have always preferred over the Laguna seca blue. This is also an example with decently low miles, only 56k on the clock. It is on its third owner if you include me, but it looks almost showroom quality! And of course it has the sweet s54B32 making 333hp. it is alittle slower and heavier than my 500hp dc5, but we will put some more horses under this hood I am so excited to dig into this build, stay tuned for more! |

After Phonexius' welcome to California party the m3 got a serious upgrade today...
What you are seeing here is a VF Engineering 420 Supercharger kit installed on my s54. This kit boosts my 333hp 262ftlb torque numbers up to just under 450hp and 410ftlb torque! not a bad upgrade at all. to top it all off, a custom, less restrictive exhaust was fitted, removing the cats, resonator and mufflers from this beast. this car sounds like a complete monster now! Dyno time: I took the e46 to the dyno to see if we could get those numbers right and to my surprise, this kit is getting the job done! As you see from the chart, it is spitting out the appropriate numbers. While on the third run, the car let out a mighty backfire! It echoed through the tuning shop lol and got me excited to put some proper rubber on this thing, maybe get it out for a track day or two. |

Jeez, that car's practically neck and neck with my FC on power. Still, mine came out of the factory weighing about 700 pounds less than yours did coming out of the factory, so I've still got you there

2/21/17- New on the bottom
Hey fellas hows it hanging? today the new goodies arrived for the m3. Lets start off with what you can see straight away, the new wheels. These are Enkei rs05rr. In 18x10, they are lightweight and strong. Yokohama neova ad08 tyres provide excellent grip especially when battling the increased horsepower. Second on the day, the m3 got coilovers. They are the BC Racing BR series with the swift springs upgrade. It is a nice little upgrade over stock. I have to get this baby out to Willow Springs for a track day! I have red taillight overlays in the mail as well, will keep you guys posted when they arrive P.S: Bagged mustang project for sale V$11,000 obo. check used car thread This post was edited by Driftphantom (2017-02-22 04:28, ago) |

2/22/17- New car (sorry)
Hey guys, as you know, the mustang project car was for sale and some mustang crazy guy from LA came over and picked it up for V$10,000. With my new found fortune, I went scouring the internet looking for my dream car. A Honda. but not just any old civic or crx, I am talking about the king of all Hondas.. the s2000... Here she is, my brand new 2000 Honda s2000 in Suzuka Blue These are the pictures I took when I first laid my eyes on it. You are probably asking "What the hell?? how did you get a RHD s2000 in California?" well that was no easy task. This is actually a US-spec s2000, but it was swapped over to RHD in late 2007, after a head on collision nearly totaled out the car. I flew all the way to the state of Texas to pick this bad boy up and drive it back. It still retains the original US-spec F20c engine. Such and excellent motor with only 87,000 miles on the clock. because of the car's history, I only paid V$7,500, which isn't bad at all. I love her already! I think this will stay around till I die.. |

# skip : It's a nice purchase! I was wondering who would get a S2000 first. What are your plans? Thanks man! with the M3 as my daily I am going to fully build this bad boy like I did the dc5. Probably going to hit the 350hp-400hp range and have a lightweight weekend warrior ((out of character: bro I am in love with the s2000 and I am trying to trade my TC and cash for one very soon lol this is my dream car I had to get one asap lol)) |

LoL i think that one of the best feelings i got this year was when i felt in love at the Sc400 that on the beegining it was just an car that i'll beat the shit out of it but some cars just have this talent and i think that the S2k is one of these.
P.S: that's an very nice honda man |

2/24/17-
The red tint overlays for the e46 rear taillights came in today. It is such a simple mod, but it really transforms the way that the car looks in the rear. I also went by the DMV and got the plates switched so I could use "PHANTOM" on the s2000. A daily doesn't need vanity plates anyways right? lol Speaking of the s2000, I took out this weekend warrior for a quick drive from my shop to my home to pick up my work gloves. At first the weather looked a bit overcast, but eventually I HAD to let that top down. OH how I love this soft top I missed driving RHD soo much! (the old z33 was a legit rhd fairlady) Pic in the drive way: |

2/25/17- Mini update!
The Project S2000 got some styling upgrades today Lets start off with the new coilovers, again bought from the guys over at BC racing. They did such an excellent job with the ones for the daily m3 that it only felt right to get some for the s2k. This particular set of BR series coils have the "extreme low" option and swift springs upgrade V$1,300. This will enable the car to go much lower, but I have it at a pretty decent height right now. A new front lip has also been installed, this is an OEM+ lip that I was able to source for only V$300. We also see that the Lights on this bad boy have changed too. Courtesy of a gentleman on the s2ki.com forum, I was able to trade my original headlights for some with clear indicators. that's not all either, He was also generous enough to exchange my us-spec AP1 taillights and side markers for those off of a euro-spec AP1. I don't know what it is, but euro spec tails have always appealed more to me than those of the US spec Also to round out this update, I have now started working for Art of Wheels alongside my Friends Phonexius and KeeJay! Please feel free to contact us for all your wheel needs! |

# marcus915 : im sad that your RSX is gone, but E46's are dope, and AP1 buddies yesssssss Yeah It was very hard to get rid of the RSX but It was time to start something fresh. but Of course I couldn't stay out of the Honda game for long, I was so fortunate to come across my ap1. And with my bmw as a daily, I can really take my time and work this build even more so than the dc5. We need to start an s2000 club or something lol # GoverningNick : I'll feature you if you make a replica of the S2K that asian chick had in 2 Fast 2 Furious. lol as much as I love that pink one, I am more a fan of Johnny Tran's s2000 from the first movie. Though maybe when the s2k is presentable she will be worthy of receiving such a honor that is a speedhunters article. That is like winning a trophy at a show! 2/27/17- Payday! Just collecting a check, but took a shot of the s2000 anyways, just waiting on some more goodies before I paint this front lip: |

# Phonexius : Will you just slamm it allready xD # marcus915 : Slam it slam it slam it slam it okay.. You guys asked for it! Bam! fueled by the peer pressure, I finally slammed my ap1 to the ground. it is rubbing a little bit in the front, but nothing rolling the fenders cant fix. I was also able to pick up some new exhaust for this bad boy too.. That's right folks! Nividia N1 Dual Catback exhaust! this only cost V$615 on jscspeed.com so I had to grab it while it was in stock. the sound is great and the idle is a rumble, but overly done. but when you get on the gas.. boy does it roar! It still isn't as loud as the daily though which I learned today that this back seat could handle large packages such as this exhaust. Who said an m3 wouldn't be practical? lol |

# Sleepin mOnkey : That's an sick ass hope to see how it sounds sometime. Yeah man be sure to stop by I love showing off the s2k lol. 3/8/17- New wheels? I know some people are going to hate this... but the camber is back! In the front we have SPC camber bolts with the aid of the adjustable camber plates supplied by BC racing when I bought the coils. In the rear, modified SPC lower controls help kick out the wheels. This leaves our little s2000 running -8 degrees of camber all around! And to top it all off, the S2000 now sits on Strasse Wheels! This is their SP5 model in 18x10 +0 which comes with the deep concave face. We over at Art of Wheels where able to source these bad boys as my personal set. Look at the tuck on those rear wheels! I love my AP1 front bumper but I am thinking it might be time for a change, what do you guys think let me know! PS: I sold the supercharger kit off of my e46 m3. With such an aggressive tune it made the gas mileage on the car horrible and since it is a daily I need better lol This post was edited by Driftphantom (2017-03-08 20:29, ago) |
