Chapter numero uno
Quick background story: I got my drivers licence in April this year, saved up some money from translating articles, giving lesson to kids, doing some computer shit, and of course, car related things, for example doing diagnostics on modern cars (i hate modern cars), and now I got myself V$20K. Because of my studies, I've been sent to Japan (wow another japfag roleplay with 180's, and Hondas), so far It was a hell on earth getting used to their lifestyle, but visiting all the car meets, talking to people, getting to know the car dealers, or just contacts that can help me find a car that I would love to own. (More of that later). I am still waiting for the car to arrive, it's red, it's stock, It is a Nissan, and I love it. I will update in the next hour with pics, price and everything. |

It's here
The car is finally here. It even looks better than in the pictures I've seen. As for the details, a picture would be better now, and then all the deets.
 It's a 1990 Nissan Cefiro A31
As for the specs, it's bone stock. RB20DET engine, fully stock, no mods, no nothing, it has been serviced correctly, oil has been changed and all the fluids. Brakes feel good, clutch feels decent on the foot, the tires are okay. And the car was 7150V$ after all the paper work. So if anyone asks, what my plans are? I'm first going to change brake rotors, and calipers and swap it for a 2JZ. Yes, a 2JZ.
After that, change the suspension arms, tension rods, get camber plates. After that put a new exhaust and interior work. I'm going to post a update soon, currently I'm going to my friends garage to put on new rims and tires that I've bought before getting the car, and that should be it for this day.

It's finally in the garage
After signing all the papers, getting shit done, I got the keys handed over to me. Driving the A31 back to the garage felt very good. There were no exhaust fumes in the interior, the engine doesn't feel tired or anything, even tho I had troubles getting the car started at the beginning. (Shitty battery).
Inspecting the car at the garage, I've noticed that the stock intercooler is a bit damaged, probably small stone chips caused the damage. Also the tires on the old rims were decent, but as I already have bought used aftermarket rims with tires I had to put them on the car.  The front rims are Volk CE28 18x9 and the rear ones are genuine R33 GT-R rims wrapped in ADVAN tires.  Surprisingly the interior is really clean, tho the steering wheel is worn out. That's okay because the car has 113.XXX KM's on the clock, so I'll have to buy a new or used steering wheel, I'll see with the budget what can I afford. The only thing that had me worrying was the bad intercooler. I called some people asking if they had a genuine RB20 intercooler, and the best I could get was a used HKS aftermarket intercooler. The price was okay, I mean 200V$ was cheap af. So I got it last night and installed it this morning.  Now the engine bay looks better and the car looks more aggressive.  |

@Zero Yeah, Cefiro is gonna be dorifuto, but first of all I have to find a 2JZ that I can swap in the car. For now it's just details and small parts.
Trip to UpGarage
 As the title says, I went to UpGarage and got home an hour ago. Basically I needed a new steering wheel because the old one was just shit and worn out. I found a used Nardi steering wheel for 110V$ without the center logo. Also I asked for any aero parts and they had a rear ducktail style wing. Also got that for 75V$.
  Now it looks better.
 And this is how the rear wing looks like mounted on the car. Also if anyone has noticed, there is a new exhaust tip. The old one had a huge silencer and it was just scraping, I removed it and put this stainless pipe, just welded onto the exhaust pipe.
As for now, I will remove the rear bumper because I don't like the look of it, remove the front grille and probably replace it. I have to buy coilovers and camber plates, change the tires, and call around trying to find a 2JZ or a broken and not running Mk4 Supra. Will do the finances tonight because I have to go and search for used coilovers. |

Today I went to eat something, when someone called me, saying that he found a "decent" donor car for me. Well shit I have to finish my food before that and of course take a pic of the car...
 30 miles away, there was a old car dealership, still running but their car are now family based and minivans and shit, but the employee said that there was in their backyard something that might be good for my current build.
As Zero already said, it's a Mk4 Supra.  So I guess y'all be like that's a heap of junk, why tf would anyone buy this blah blah
 I guess this the reason why
 Anyways I'm on my way home, the Supra has been bought, waiting for it to be delivered, it's Saturday and I wanna chill for the rest of the day.

Intense work day (No pics, just text)
Yesterday the Supra chassis came at around 8PM. Couple of homies were at the garage chilling, so we figured why not prep the A31 for the swap?
First of all, all the wires had to be labeled and put aside. After that all the fluids had to be drained, took out the battery and those bits. We were done at around 1AM, but the RB20 was still in the car. So, this morning everything was prepared for the RB to be taken out. It was a 40 minute job and the engine was finally out of the car. After a 30 minute break, we finally got to the Supra. As on the pictures above, the chassis are fucked up. So for now, I'm removing all the hoses, radiator, stock air box and wires. To make the engine run okay for now, I have to buy a new air filter, oil filter, change all the fluids in the car (engine oil, transmission oil, coolant and power steering fluids). But all of that later, because I haven't even put the 2J out of the Supra. |

Engine swap complete
As the title says, the engine swap is complete. The 2JZ is out of the crushed Supra and in the Cefiro. It took me 2 days to complete this intense job, but now it's finally done. The RB20 is shipped to FazaM this morning.
 I've removed all the rubber pipes to replace them, already bought this morning a new air filter, new airbox, aftermarket oil filter and sent the intake manifold to be refurbished. The fuel injectors need to be cleaned and I have to get new spark plugs.
 Now, the front of the car is stripped because I ordered some new front fenders. Next step is getting new suspension parts.
