# EXOTI1CSTANCE : VET is the Neo VVL version of the SR20 way more reliable but expensive since the engine needs to be taken from a Nissan Pulsar VZ-R or Lucino and Sunny more to know here *LINK* Actually the SR20VET it's only from the Nissan X-Trail GT on the Pulsar VZ-R you only have an SR16VE |

E30 Swap?!
After the 2.5 s**t itself i had to find another engine that was kinda cheap but had some power so after speaking with some people i decided to go with a 3SGEfrom the XE10 RS200. i found a cheap example that was looked after so the engine wasnt trash. The main reason was because i didnt want to go was too common yet too unique where it would be impossible to actually do it. Now MACKAY chucked this idea at me and kindly offered to help with wiring so i guess ill be waiting for you.. Now to the car Its a 1998 RS200 with the fifth version of the 3SGE known as the black top BEAMS with Dual VVT-I on both the intake and exhaust camshaft. The Manual version came with 207hp and had a J160 6 Speed gearbox. Here's some pic of the beast: My plans for the car arent very big at all. Im going to take the loom, ecu and engine + gearbox and then probably scrap it or sell the parts. But i nopw have a donor so i can start taking it to pieces and rip the engine out. Finances: $6000 -$2000 $4000 left 4k to do a swap and stuff... Cool |

I am coming back to Osaka on Thursday so that means I will be able to help you trough the weekend, we will get your E30 running in no time man !
We managed to sell left over parts for more than 600V$, but mine was in kinda poor condition, so be careful while taking yours apart as it looks very clean, some parts are valuable haha. |

There's been a lot of 3S-GE swaps lately lol. You said that Altezza is in good shape so you can make something out of it too!

S13 looking how i want it..
So exterior wise i had to freshen it up a bit... So i kept the rear the yellow it was originally but in the front i went white and the underbody and engine bay went a blueish green called Caribic Blue.. (Vauxhall Colour irl) I did have to get rid of the bumper because im so low i cant use it otherwise its gonna come flying off on the highway. So i went with a custom tubed front i made from spare metal i had. Sprayed that same colour. Now kit wise i got D-MAX Type 3 kit and also a roof spoiler. Rims i got Watanabe Type A 8 Spoke's in black (14") Really small but once slammed it works well. Now moving onto the engine i got a AJS Mainfold, Diesel Turbo from a bus (think its a HOLSET HX30) Big Boost basically. Straight Pipe and a front mount from a friend. I was going to go for DET pistons but i went with Wossner Internals which i got second hand. It should now run around 350hp (hopefully) Now all i need to get is a dyno and done really. Pictures: |

Its Done!!!
So first thing i did was to strip the 'Tezza (sorry no pics no time), ripped most of the parts off keeping them in good condition to sell on. Me and Kondie (thats his name for me since im lazy and cba to spell it) got most of it done and then waited for MACKAY to show us how its done. So we started getting the 3S out and it was simple enough, but the hard part was getting it in the E30.. Here comes the custom solid mounts in clutch since we could easily get it sat how we wanted it and just weld it up and done. So after a hour it was in and MACKAY was getting the wiring done so i was comtemplating exhausts. I decided a straight through and a E30 M3 rep muffler will do fine and let everyone hear the beauty of the 3S. (No pics of the swap since i wanted to fully concentrate on the swap going smooth) An hour and a bit later and it fired up first time. I was happy it fired up without fault however it has no exhaust just a downpipe from manifold. so its spits flames directly under the passenger footwell. Lets say i wouldnt want to be a passenger in the '30. I had to get some new rims for it as well so i got some black AVS 6's and slapped them on. Dirt cheap since i got them connections. Pictures: I would have gone in more detail but this wasnt a month build or to say the least. it was at least a weekend since i wanted it perfect so we tested it and tuned it for a few days and it runs good. I dont really know the exact power figure but a dyno can be done soon! Finances: $3950 -$100 AVS 6 Metal was spare. = $3850 |

New seats for the S13!
After noticing that the original S13 seats were trash, i found some similar style replacements from a FC3S RX7 which was being broken for parts. I got them for $60 which is good for these which are in great condition... Comfy too... Pictures: Finances: $5850 Before purchases -$60 =$5790 This post was edited by Zero (2017-09-06 13:04, ago) |
