Hi, my name is SJ and I currently live in Seoul. It was really hard to find JDM vehicles here due to OBD regulations.
I got this '10 S197a Ford Mustang V6 for 16,000,000 KRW (Approx. 14,000 USD) for Plan B.

It is a secondhand car which previous owner used it for weekend driving.

The car is pretty much stock except 302R Mustang rims.

Plan : V8 Swap, Rim, Shelby bodykit...

Just went to DMV to change license plate into longer variant. Most Korean vehicles these days use this type.
DMV employee said that this Mustang doesn't have EU bumper, so rear plate stay the same.

Appearantly I found 2000 Saleen wheels for temporary use until I find some good set of wheels. Previous 302 BBS rims are sold for 3000$.

(Imported car parts are really expensive here :P )

Apparently I found one donor GT500 from Ilsan. (approx. 20 miles away from my garage)

The car was in a bad shape and it was soon to be crushed. But most parts were salvageable including the V8 engine block.

The owner sent me the photos of the engine bay so I could check whether it is usable or not.

Sure. Gotta send it to u via air mail after the payment is confirmed.

I just got the V8 engine block. Got rid of old V6 engine which was not suitable for modern "Muscle" build.

The supercharger wasn't in a good condition, so I got the new 'Power - V8' style air intake and the new fuel system.

Got the black flat-style cylinder head cover and custom engine cover I bought few days ago. It fits really well.

Also I got the second-hand Nardi steering wheel and a pair of used Bride seats to replace stock interior.

I use second-hand interior parts a lot because they wear and tear over time anyway.

Another purchase! Got each pairs of Brembo discs & calipers. (Front 380mm 6P / Rear 355mm 4P).

And just borrowed steelies from local junkyard. I should lend these back as soon as I get new rims and slam the ride.

I ordered a new pair of Rotiform BM1 rims for the Mustang. It took about few hours to arrive (We call it "Quick Delivery" in Korea).

Luckily the car already had an adjustable shocks and springs, so slamming the car was a very easy task.

I almost forgot to send the steelies back. My bad.

I contacted the previous GT500 donor again, asking for some parts left, and I got 2012 Shelby Corsa exhaust pipe which was on the GT500.

Might get new Shelby bodykit in few days. ;)

Recent earthquake in my hometown caused severe damage to my Mustang, and I had to crush it because the car's frame was not recoverable.

Thankfully, I had some chance to borrow my friend's RPS13. Eventually he is planning to move to Valo City in few weeks, so I have to return the car to him soon.

He's done some internal customization and improvement, leaving most external parts stock. I like his taste. :)

Wow, it's been a very busy year since September, finishing up some business and stuff.
I bought another 180SX from Japan and it arrived yesterday.

It was relatively easy to find tuned car than ones that are nearly stock.

It was yellow, and "RB26" swapped. Well actually it is my first time driving a real RHD car.

I borrowed my friend's studio for a photo shoot.

Well damn :/

I gotta find a new engine then :)) :))

Anyway I was planning to strip the car and check which is good and which is nah.

Thnx for the early info. Or else I could've completely misunderstood the car.
