Cool. I suggest getting a nice Nissan S body or a MX-5, but you can do whatever you want. If you need help let me know.

Update
this guy is showing me a s14 as my mate told him i love them he said he had one cheap thats fairly complete minus headlights and minor things here or there

Added 7 minutes later:

so i have uninstalled the ls3 out of my s14 and have the 2jz almost running in it im just waiting on a 02 sensor and a intake pipe which my mate is bringing over later and i dont want to go ls3 in the 240 because well its just not my style and i still have the 2jz mounts in it so i want to 2jz turbo it

Added 15 minutes later:

the 240 looks sad engine less and the body kit is off because of the engine coming out

so a kind of little big update i sold the orange 240 for 13.500 and now im just focusing on the s14 for the time being hopefully ill find a cheap daily soon maybe a 34 4 door or something but untill then i guess ill borrow a mates car as the s14 is going through some changes i picked up a cheap turbo kit for 2,5 everything included im currently testing out space etc as i dont know if i can fit my piping without cutting the bay
here is the last shot of the 240 before it left

and here is the s14 i think the piping should clear but i may be wrong

so after searching and searching i found a mostly stockish 240 hatch its sadly sr20de but its registered and a good base and he offered cash my way so im going to view the car im taking the s14 on a trailer we have organised it so i can keep my plates if i do go ahead with the deal ill have an update soon if i get the 240

Added 1 hour 20 minutes later:

So i did the trade and got 3.5V$ my way as it is a 20de with a few issues but im happy with the trade i get to stay on the road and he gets a sweet ass track car

here is a list of the current mods i know of

cheap coilovers
crappy wheels
front lip
ebay brembo brakes

list of cons

its a de
reverse is gone in the box
open diff
shagged rear tires
wing was chopped
rear seat has tears

List of things to do

either turbo the sr and replace the gearbox or rb it
put some better coilovers in with cambertops
new wheels
remove the wing
dmax or similar vented front gaurds
dmax hood
pignose front bar
be happy

looks nice, stoked to see what you're gonna do with it
also that SR mod looks neato

Added 2 minutes later:

plus if you want to trade the type x front bumper, I got a sharknose one with a plastic lip, I can pay the shipping. It's unpainted but I got it wrapped in Champagne Gold as it's a stock 240 colour

do you possibly have a pignose bar? I am trying to find one for my 240 im also trying to trade the wing skirts and pods for other parts to suit the 240

Added 50 minutes later:

So i have taken the front bar win pods skirts off my 240 and prepped it for a few minor mods its sitting in the workshop for a day or two getting secret things done and im going to look at a car today as a more suitable daily driver
so here is some pics of the 240

i drove it 3 times and that was for work so i never got to do skiddies in it haha but yeah i got my hatch back from the shop and its looking amazing
i swapped all my type x gear and front end for a s13 front with a aftermarket bar also got skirts and rear to match sadly that means i now have stock tailights but they are tinted to go with the car and i brought rims so the bill from the shop all up installing all the parts and painting the car was 5 because im friends with the owner and he felt bad about what happened to my s14

i still dont have reverse but im tempted to just rip the sr out as its a na engine anyway and putting a rb in
