Hello everyone, I have problem with modelling in 3DS Max - or rather question - how can I make clean wireframe?

Let's say I have model like that (part of tire, based on some tutorial)

I want to make it look like this (clean, mostly quad-based wireframe)

Do I have to cut polies one by one, or there's another hack for it?

Yeah, I tried such scripts, but that's not the point - I want to smooth it a bit (split single quad to more), not just make it quad (it already is btw, the bluish edges are made in render window - dunno why).

well... if you model from scratch you'll have nice wireframes, converting from other stuff will always give you a messy mesh that probably its easier to re-model than cleaning it

for example, that thing you posted (i dont know what that is) but i bet it'll be easier to re-model it than fixing that
