Hey Vstanced!

I have an interesting problem which has recently got a lot worse, which makes it really hard to play the game without crashes. What happens is game loads up fine I can start building a car, but as soon as it comes across anything Hi-poly the textures start to fade a bit till it eventually has a grey screen then crashes. If i stay away from really hi poly parts etc sometimes I can get a build in.

Ive tried adjusting the settings within slrr with no luck. Even turned down graphical settings within Nvidia but it just doesn't like the textures in slrr for some reason, every other game is fine I have no issues whatsoever. Its just SLRR for some reason, to temporarily fix the problem I have to quit SLRR and load it back up again.

Running SLRR 1920x1080 or 200 Id need to check.

EVGA 770GTX 4GB Classified Edition (Pretty much new) running a stock clock. Latest drivers
DDR4 16gb
I7 4770k

So I should be having no issues.. can anyone shed any light to whats going on???

thanks
sam

What mods are making your game crashing? Did you tried to turn down resolution?

# Runaeh : it runs out off memory

What's your game version Sam? If Runaeh were right, BB's SLRR will help you. It has some limits enlarged (since you can't really remove the limits).

Also, try not to have lots of high resolution textures in your game. Like 1024px is enough for most of purposes.

Real stuff version. However it did that same thing on BB's. The textures arnt over kill, even some basic rim models make it crash

@runaeh in terms of RPK limit you could be right? I dont have many cars installed maybe 30 odd? but I have quite a bit in parts folder but nothing over the top

I did some research and apparently its a common problem with the EVGA 980. Mines only a 770 but it can happen with any EVGA 700 - 900 series. Ive been told to try a few things like run slrr at higher priority, so will try this and report back.

@nothingtodo

Its not one specific mod.. its just when the game loads hi(ish) poly stuff. My mate runs same card with no problems

Update:

Remmoved quite a few RPK's and turned down graphics a bit. Lasts a wee while longer but eventually textures still go grey and it crashes.
