is it possible to lower a car to less than 5"? all the suspensions i've looked at, had the lowest at 5" and i'd like my cars to lay as low as the car itself is possible to before the chassis touches the ground

Try out VStanced suspesion, it's adjustable, & as far as I remember, it can be lower than 5".

Idk why everyone uses these versions of slrr when the most modded stable version is 2.2.1 mwm.

Probably cause people are too lazy to actually install all the mods themselves. The see SLRR by Jack and see that it comes with a bunch of preinstalled mods, and just use that one.

Yeah but that version isn't compatible with anything at all. It's not hard to get all the mods they are all right here, sure you have to look for some in other places but it's worth it.

downloading 2.1.1MWM straight from this site now
hopefully mods as Airbags and such will work now, because it didn't with the Jack V2 version of the game :S (that's a 2.1.1MWM)
