Going to be pulling the motor out tomorrow anyways, might as well thrash it.

Marcus,

you want to drive up for the day tomorrow and help me do a swap? I have sourced a semi-built RB26 from an R34 and a custom transmission. I rented a van and all we have to do is go pick up the RB26 and transmission from two different shops. I can pay for your gas/food and whatever, since I am feeling generous

Hey everyone, I'm Parker's friend or as you may know him, ThatBoostedGuy here on the forums. I'm the one who bought the supra and BMW off of him a few days ago and he recommended me here to post updates and keep in touch since he's moved to Canada. I'm pretty new here so I'll just post a few things about myself to kind of break the ice. My name is Silas and I'm originally from the Carolina's but moved here to Valo a few years ago when I met Parker. Me and him immediately hit it off and became close friends due to our love of cars, and have helped each other out in the past on builds and projects. My previous car was a Volvo 850 which I called the "Mom Mobile", which was basically a stock 850 with some minor changes, but I recently sold that to put toward something new. When I heard Parker was selling his beloved Supra and E30 I had to jump on the offer because I knew if I didn't, someone else would. So I'm going to jump right into this now and start updating on what I've been doing with the cars. The supra is the most cosmetically changed so far being as I've removed the rear canard things and lost the front bumper and spoiler to a chaser at a local track during a drift day, along with some paint trading and scratching. On my way to the track I hit a curb and bent a rim so it is now on ADV10 CS Series Track Functions. Performance wise I've thrown out the old engine and put in a fully built 2jz from my friends Cressida drift car, I'll put up some pictures on that later on when I see him at the next meet.
Here are some Pictures -

As for the BMW, I've changed the exhaust, seats, and it is now static instead of bagged.
Pictures -

I hope to have a lot of fun and make many new friends here on the forums. :)

It's been a long ride with my S13 Silvia. I originally bought it from 2JZCookie on the forum as a shell, with wiring ready for an NA 2JZ. This car had seen better days but I had just sold my Subaru/was about to sell my Subaru at the time and I was in the market for something fun to build. Never would I have expected it to become this, which I could never actually sell. After multiple rebuilds, repairs, and countless fun times, I believe the car's reached the final phase of it's life time. Who knows though, I could be wrong. Here's a quick look back at all the previous phases from my first build to the last posted one, then I'll talk about how it sits now.

Phase 1 consisted of the car in it's form just after my initial start up to just before the S13 front end conversion. Between crazy camber and starting with wheels a size too big, the car eventually took on it's first true form of me owning it, and I enjoyed making it my own while still continuing with the car's look before I got it, using the same body kit (for the most part) that was on the car.

Phase 2 consisted of the car turning into it's most powerful form, with a completely built 2JZGTE. After blowing up a gearbox and coming close to the limits of the 2JZGE, I decided to opt for an upgrade and went on to building this 2JZ over time, going from 300+ to 1000+ Wheel Horse Power. I went through two engines and a lot of money, went for a couple new livery's (and I quite miss the pepsi one if I'm honest) and broke the car many many times before the end of this phase.

Phase 3 was short lived and consisted of thinking outside the box. The car sat around for a little while after some proper suspension damage and came back out strong with a salvaged Dodge Viper SRT10 engine. The car went from it's unwrapped paint to a complete paint job that would set it up for Phase 4.

Phase 4 kicked off with a new heart, a twin turbo LSA. The car became a dedicated drift car and lost it's street legal status once it's rego was over and that was a big pushing factor in this conversion. The car saw some track time and ran very well set up like this, but it did eventually run into problems and then I had got to the drawing board for how to set the car up next.

Phase 5

I thought hard about how to reinvent the car for the next phase of it's life, and I kept coming up short. Rocket Bunny? Done before. Odvyia? I've done that one before, that's nothing new. So I came to the simple conclusion; Why not go back to the basics? It's easy to add on and do wild shit, so why not bring it back? Give the care the truest form it's had since before I was even the owner. Some things can't be undone, and I haven't bothered with those. Rear over fenders because I can't UNCUT my rear fenders, the roll cage has stayed because why would I go through the trouble to take it out? Everything works, and it has no real reason to disappear. All the gauges work and that's something I've always made sure I stayed on top of, all my climate control, and even my stereo work because these are all things I want this car to have. The Bride seats are better than the stock seats so why would I go back? Everything has a thinking behind it and the car is simplistic in that way. Re converted the front end of course, all OEM body kit as it would have looked when purchased - roof spoiler. The car still sits low but it's no longer aggressive, in turn it has R33 wheels that tuck gently under previously abused fenders and they have no need to poke out side the lines. The engine has gone back to it's roots of my owning it with a 2JZGE, but it's a completely rebuilt, 3.2 stroked & bored 400HP N/A engine that revs it's way to a redline of just over 8000. None of these are things I'd have thought about during the initial build of this car because my ideals and visions were completely different, but now all of it seems right.

This is what I enjoy about the roleplay thread, the ability to grow attached to stupid shit and then write about it. There's passion in my writing and some how I've evoked this from creating a story about a car with the help of the forum and all those who bought, sold, complimented, and critized things about the car. Community is a fun thing.

Only a few of you have been around since some of the earlier phases, but to those people and all the newer people, tell me what your favourite phase of the S13 has been so far, including paintjob if you wish. Thanks for the read & stay tuned for when I decide I want to modify every single panel of the car again.

Phase 2 is MY favorite, but that should never matter to a car owner because what YOU like should always come first, and trying to please everyone will never happen no matter how hard you try. All a car owner can strive for is to love their car the most they possibly can and anything that comes with it should be extra. This is why instagram cars are such a popular thing now, because everyone wants the easy fame, and not to be happy with their own car. I would never build my car off of what other people expected of it, only my own image of the perfect build for my own style. Just have fun doing what you love to do and everything will be alright. :)

I may have spent some of the ER34 money on a Civic...

It's a 304WHP Supercharged K24.
The paint on the left door was assaulted buy a gritting truck. That will be repainted soon as well as the headcover.
Not sure if I will use this car in the winter, if I decide to do so I will have to find some good winter tires/crappy rims. Don't wanna be messin' up these B5's yo!

Parker I'll come by tomorrow. I live in Deriphill as well so you aren't too far away. Checked on Google Maps haha.

Tonight's updates are on the PS13 and a new car.

PS13- Basically managed to pick up the rest of the OEM RPS13 panels. Picked up a sharknose bumper off a friend for $50, and the fenders I grabbed at a pick n pull. Fitted the rear Viennas - looks good, but I'm thinking about buying a set of overfenders so I can go wider. Also picked up a set of Bride LowMax suede bucket seats - very comfortable and not very pricey.

I remember the car the best from the days of the Pepsi vinyl layout...omfg it came so far man, i just love what your doing, keep it as alvays man.

Back to me:

Ok i menaged to get the Integra sit how i wanted it, we did some minor changes in the hight and camber for the change from 17" to 16" rims.It doesnt slam anymore when fully aired out.Guys @ AccuAir know theyr job well.

We started to strip the BMW, we got mostly the easy parts down, all that was bolt-on we got down.Tommorow we will try to get the engine out so we can start with body work. There is alot to do on this car, but i hope it will pay out.

*cheers*

tegra looks good, the ROC's suit the car's look very well and the red/white combo is good on the eyes. Call me up if you need me to come help with your BMW.

I bought a new car, but my main focus now is the PS13 and the S14 project that I have been chipping away at the past few months.

Pic of the 14-

Hasn't really changed much from the last time I showed it really.

But the new car is a 2002 Lexus GS300 (JZS161). Mainly factory spec, 120,000km car, with a few upgrades.

It's really clean, no dents or scratches, been daily driven in the past. It's sat on a set of 17x7.0 XE10 Altezza wheels, wrapped in 215/45 Advan Neova AD07 tires. The biggest mod done to this car is the 2JZ-GTE VVTi sourced from the Japanese market Aristo-

It's been slightly massaged to give it a little more power- HKS front mount, Greddy pod filter, ARC radiator, and HKS transmission cooler. Oh, and it has a Cusco LSD ;) Not many plans yet, but I do have an idea where I want to go with this car..

Looks good. Using it as a daily or nah???

Added 9 minutes later:

I found a decalshop when browsing Google. They are based on the outskirts of Pudsey, not so far from where I work.
So I thought I'd go talk to them about my ideas and long story short this happened-

I had them make it for me and they gave me a few pointers on how to put it on the windshield so with that in mind I did it myself.
Simple enough and it definately improves the look IMO!

for now we are going slow, the body work is not a problem, we did that in the past, but i have zero knowladge about the 4cyl engines from BMW, and i plan on keeping it, engine runs good so far and it shuld be enought to drift after we pep it up a bit.

*2 Weeks Pass*

So I've been having family problems lately, my sister got hit by a drunk driver so I have not had much time to work on the 240sx, I took the time after to work on it thankfully the BN sports Kit and the New SSR F5's I picked up came in and the car was set and painted. Marcus came by and we installed the new brake pads and discs and we also gave the new RB26 a tune up, pushing 350hp on 8 pounds of boost XD. And later that night I cleaned out the interior waiting for the new seats.

@2jzcookie the plan is to leave it daily-able, but I never stick to my word..
@PrStien, sweet hahaha. I wanna see your JZS.

Some interesting things happened in the past day. I was hanging out with a few friends in the Mustang and we were all chilling. One of them was looking for an S14 to buy, and was willing to trade an S15 for the car. Seeing lately that I'm having serious S15 withdrawals, I started getting ideas..

I used to own this car, until I sold it to Mark Arcenal, who wanted to use my car as a shop demo vehicle since he did a sick wrap for it. Not really sure where the car is now, but I seriously missed it.. so I jumped on my friend's offer. I know I just bought a JZS161, but that's my daily (hopefully won't need a new one yet), and it gives me a reason to move the S14 chassis. I haven't made any progress on that car in a while and it'd be much better off in his hands, so tonight we made the deal. He came over to pick up the S14 chassis and all the aero that I had, so I no longer have any more S14 parts. The groundwork is done for a 1JZ swap in that car, but I'm keeping my 1J for the future..

About The 300ZX:

My Friend Told Me It Was Not That Bad But When I Come To See It I Heard Somebody Crashed To It

Well.... But The Good Thing Is The Engine Was Not Damaged
But The Chassis Was NOT Repairable
The Owner Said If You Buy It I'll Give A Japanese FairladyZ 430
So I Bought It.430 Was Only Chassis Except For The Seats
We Installed The VG30 Out Of That 300ZX And Tuned It A Little Bit (New Camshaft And Turbo) And A Suspension System We Called Hop In Suspension
You Just Have To Adjust The Chassis A Little Bit And Drop The Chassis Into It
It Looks Like This Right Now :

Looking For 300ZX And S30 Body Parts (240Z,430,432)

I Installed A Rally Front Bumper With Lights + Crankshaft,Connecting Rods,Pistons From DSpeed,A Nitrous System And A Dash From 430
It Creates About 1030HP With 2 Bar Of Boost (No Fuel Compression Or Camshaft Angle Tune) I'll Tune It A Little Bit And Try To Get 1000HP With 1.5 Bar Of Boost

But I Wasn't Able To Find A 6-Speed Tranmission For It

DAILY-ISH E36

So like month ago one guy from VW forums gave me an offer about my mk2 GTI cloud not resist, and at the time E34 was still not drivable, so i had to get a new daily fast in few days i checked out like 6 cars, just to buy a e36 from a neighbor .
Its a preety minty 97'318is in Laguna Green Metallic, had m3 interior, one of the reasons l got it. Had some flaws here and there but nothing special.
So heres pics and and some work i did.

Right after buying it.

Tweaked front bumper to fit right.

Puted m tails in.

Rewelded threshold.

And trew some works on that l got cheap, and refurbished.

Night burnouts.

Please dont mind the pro garage, its the only one that isnt glichy and shit

I went to my local tire shop and picked up some new rims and I went and bought a airbag kit. B)
So it sits pretty low and it looks mint

So im going to leave it like this for now. Anyone has a drift car for sale for a decent price?

This image is a little bit old it has black matte fenders and the car is not that high anymore but i can make it high again plus rally headlights :)

RB26DETT swap is done! And to christen it, I took it out to an empty space and ripped a mean peel. I did nothing more than that because this car is a stock running gear bearing boat, a fast boat albeit. The Civic is going to be painted red as of tomorrow morning. It is across town at a shop. I can't wait too see the results.

I also ordered a Z-Tune kit, Aerospeed Fenders, and a roof spoiler. Should arrive next week.

So after another small hiatus, I am back with my FRS. The motor has been swapped with a fully built Supercharged Toyota 4AGE. Pushing a steady 357 hp, although I'm very close to complete with this car, there is some small modifications I'd still like to do. Such as, changing rims and tires, adjust exhaust pipes, hydro handbreak, and I'd like to possibly squeeze a little more low out of her.

Parts list:
Toyota 4A-GE Block
HKS Crankshaft
JUN Ultralightweight Flywheel
Toyota Connecting Rods
TODA 16v Pistons
Toyota 4A-GE Blue Top intake manifold
Toyota 4A-GE Blue Top cylinder head
Toyota 4A-GZE SC12 Supercharger
HKS Supercharger belt
J-Performance intercooler piping kit
J-Performance intercooler
J-performance manifold piping kit
J-performance supercharger piping kit
TODA Exhaust header
Blue Top cylinder head cover
Blue Top timing cover with window
TRD Spark wire
TODA 16v intake camshaft
TODA 16v exhaust camshaft
HKS Camshaft drivbelt
Koyorad raditor
Koyorad expansion tank
HKS oil filter
Toyota 4A-GE T50 Transmission
4A-GE Cusco L.S.D
HKS alternator belt
Missing some parts, but not the real important ones.

I'm also trying to import an R32, just need to find a dealership with import access and the perfect R32.
Also, someone sell me very deep wheels plz :)

Lets try S15 again :)

Oh and the FC3S is long gone, just for the record. Integra is almost out the door too.

A couple of Nissan SR20s would pull a premium one week before race wars.

Don't worry, the engine conversion is already underway and it's sure to upset some people no doubt. I bought this because I'm a nissan loving fuck and I need a new drift car to build.

Not a fan of weak bottom end engines because this is going to be a purpose drift build, thanks though man.

The absolute coincidence when you buy an identical Lightning Yellow S15 a night before..guess we'll be S15 buddies. Definitely not going to go crazy like you though.

Thanks for all your help on the RB26 swap, Marcus, everything went really well with an extra set of hands around. If you ever need something let me know.
