Okay no pics for today, but I'll just summarize:
  • Prelude got everything painted, and is now sitting on nice golden TE-37s
  • F355 now has a racing engine
  • I bought a Civic, and I've got something weird for it in mind.
  • Smokie's porn is in a cover
  • Which concludes:
  • Prelude: Complete
  • F355: Complete
  • Civic: 10%
    It's quite banged up
    It's a little rusty
    Stripped parts from it.

    Guess what I've got?

I've made a trade today. Goodbye 240SX, Hello...

    MX5

This is my new 1994 Mazda MX5 complete with a 1.8 and a 6 Speed transmission. But you see, these aren't things I really care about. The previous owner of this car took care of it and kept it nice and clean. It's properly stanced out and has a cool style, but I have much more in mind for this. It'll be a combination of a few of my past projects.

The RB20 isn't for sale anymore and I'm about to drop the engine on this car. You see where this is going?

Selling the 1.8 engine though, $700 with the transmission and it's yours.

Stay tuned, things will get crazy. (But will stay realistic ;) )

Oh and thanks to Mad Mike for inspiration on a Miata build.

    Do it for the ratchets

Man, I've been thinking about getting a Miata... I might get one and get a Fstback top for it... idk. I went and bought my buddys Pinto. Its still in decent condition, but no engine, which sorta works to my advantage. (Can't paint the car, but I woulda put rustyness on it)

Nice Mx-5 Haku. Looks great, expecting more!! So I've got back from a recent trip to Japan and I went to the auctions and picked up this beast, stock twin-turbo Toyota JZX100 Chaser, shipped it over for quite a huge fee. $6,000 for the trip over and a drive to my garage by delivery truck, and $7,750 for the car. Which basically killed my wallet but hey, its worth it right?!?! And its somewhat built, has 350Hp came with the description when I was bidding. Excited to work on this beast! Enjoy and Expect more since i'm back!

    @Haku Sick Miata man!

last news i got on the Eight-Six, it's almost done. The car runs great and it puts out most of it's potential, i've set the rev limiter at 9000, it should be possible to reach 11000 but i would risk destroying the engine.

It's 3 days later now and I have some more updates. I sold the two 1.8 litre engines which were sitting around and got a Miata rear axle and driveshaft. They just came back from Fred since they had to be modified a bit to fit the Golf. This is the complete drivetrain:

A new suspension is ordered since the old one is completely rotten and I would have to replace the rear suspension anyway.

So I got this drifting bug bad.. so bad that me and my 2 buddies I met at the track last week met up for a midnight sesh out in the desert canyons. Me, Joe (s13) and his brother Paul (s15) were out sliding till about 3 a.m. when the tow truck had to be called and a lonely cop showed up. here are some shots:

Paul's S15 is amazing! stock sr20 with a cusco LSD. its been about a month since that car came to valo. It all went great till Joe's LS3 s13 came to its demise..

Yeah it is totaled.. he's not too mad tho, apparently he's got something else cooking at home. I got a free "gently used" 326power wing out of it. When the cop and the tow truck came it was pretty clear that we had overstayed our welcome so session over. when I got home I noticed that I had sustained alittle damage as well. Nothing alittle zip ties couldn't fix

I can't wait to get back on track or have another late night sesh

Haven't been on here in a while!

Got news of a recently imported S14 in the country, so I got in my car and drove over to see it ASAP. Car was in the capital city, Sofia, far from my home.

They guy says the car is pretty much stock, except some suspension parts. This is leaving me with a blank canvas to work on. Decided to knock off some of price by telling the guy to remove the rims that were on it and put it on steelies. Ofcourse, the car wasn't registered so I took it to the nearest DMV.

Had to put her on temporary plates till I get her back to the garage, since I don't live here in Sofia. For some odd reason, square versions of these temporary plates don't exist, so I had to put on the rear plate with zipties (just imagine they are there, have no way of physically putting em on)

    @pinter03

Nice Sierra, can't wait to see that as a drift car. Nice and different.

    @Everyone who complimented the Miata

Thank you, it'll only get better (in my opinion)

    @DriftPhantom

We'll have to do an MX5 drift sesh up there some night once I've got mine out and running, the thing is turning out savage.

    @Coprone

your S14 gives me heart eyes everytime, the colour on that car is excellent. Also isn't owning a sticker printer one of the greatest things? You can make whatever stupid shit you want.

Anyway, here is a small update on MX5 Progress.

First thing's first, I got the old engine out in no time, but putting the RB in is a bit of a struggle.

I took off the exhaust manifold to get some more room, then dropped this thing in. It's not secure but here's the first test fit.

We pulled it out and got some engine mounts made that are based off the MX5's mixed with the R32's.

We got the engine back in and transmission aligned to where it needed to be, then put the manifold back on.

The turbo was installed and then we started to fabricate piping for the new engine bay.

I can't run a left headlight or a hood, the engine and piping are in the way too much, and if I drop the engine any lower then the intercooler will scrape and the sump will be way too close to the ground. I knew this wasn't gonna be easy, just was hoping it would be. Next up is wiring and possible dump valve since I'm running hoodless anyway. I've also got a couple aero parts on order as well as a 2way LSD, can't be spinning one wheel.

Wheel set up will be last but I'll need some fresh wheels and an alignment.

    Do it for the ratchets

I got myself real 86, again. It has been a drift beater, missile, or call it whatever you'd like. It's literally slammed to the ground - modified arms & cut coilovers. Engine is stock Blacktop 4A-GE. Fortunately I got a lot spare engine parts with it. Exterior & interior, both are pretty worn & dirty. Funny thing is I always buy cars that look good only from one view & I took picture from a good view at the moment...

Nice (from this side anyways lol) ae86 Coprone. are you going to drift it as well? or is this going to be transformend into a beautiful show piece?

@Haku yeah man sounds great! just let me know when that beast is ready, hopfully Ill have my turbo setup by the so I can atleast try to keep up

    EVO Love:

I traded my Gram lights with Joe, he had some 19in equips with massive dish, just the way I like. Apparently he wants to use the grams on his new drift car, which he has reveled to me will be a z33.. Anyways, here are some shots of the evo on its new shoes"

as you can see, these are massive and have incredible offset. it looks goofy now, but will be perfect once I get my coilovers. I ordered some Ultra Lows and a huge BCL wing. should get here within the next few days, its gonna be greatt

A LOT of stuff happened to my Civic. I painted it Dark Red, my favourite color. I installed a H&R Street Performance Coils, 7.50" Springs and 300mm vented brakes. Dayum that was expensive. Literally 2 days after I repainted the car I hit a pole while parking :D Looks like I need to work on my driving skills a bit more. Oh well, it's my first car after all. When my pockets have a bit more coal in it, I maybe search for new wheels since steelies are a bit sad looking.

Alright here's me rude Prelude as it is now :D

And here's the Civic. It's sitting on stock wheels, no tires whatsoever.
I've got nice plans for it, and it's not a drift car, neither a stanced car.
It's something completely strange, and original I'd say.

And here's the car stripped down.

Also, tomorrow I'll post UTM's Issue #71 cover. It features Smokiegun's porn.

    Honda Civic: 10%
    To do:
  • New wheels
  • New Suspension
  • New engine
  • New colour
  • Decals...
  • Something special
  • Done:

∆ Facepalm - I love the "to do" list of your Civic. I think you should make a drift car of it (it's fwd ftw)

About my 86. What plans I have with it? Because rust is almost everywhere on the chassis, it'll be a lot of work to do. I think I won't start killing & building the rusted areas as I'm pretty sure I could just find a AE86 in better condition for a showcar.
It'll be probably just a daily beater or something.

    my irony was high (wut?)

During yesterday afternoon & today morning I did a lot changes to my 86. The biggest changes are:
  • Installed XR4 Longchamps that I had on my first 86 (feelings)
  • Removed old handbrake with unneeded panels around it & installed hydraulic
  • Changed camshaft belt
  • Changed oil filter
  • Washed the body
  • Cleaned interior (automotive archaeologist)

  • As few interior panels are still missing or broken I might strip the interior & install bolt-on rollcage...

I made some Progress on my FTO...

I bought a Fully Adjustabe Coilovers Kit from Koni,
    A set of Brembo Brakes,
    4 Volk TE37 size 17 inches,
    A Blitz Mufler,
    A Rollcage,

I am sure that you wonder why the hell I put an Intercooler on a N/A 6 cylinder?
I have decide that I will, with some help of my cousin and some friends, that I will go Torbo on the 6 cylinder, but, I will have to go with custom parts, since I did not find any Kit for sale, It will take some times, but at the end, I will say that it was worth it...

    Here's issue #71's cover

    And the F355 article:
"Last week, we saw the Bugatti leave a now-closed tuning garage, PTG East. There, we also saw the F355 that kicked the Bugatti's butt. Just yesterday, we went by to check out what was done to it. The garage owner spoke to us about it: "The owner of the Ferrari told me not to reveal anything done about it. But you can guess the obvious changes. Racing interior, Gulf paintjob, racing tires. I think you can conclude he's heading for the top this time, not just a Veyron." That's all he told us. No really, he refused to speak any further to us. He didn't talk much about the driver either: "He's a very silent and mysterious guy. It's the kind of guy you'd least expect to own a Ferrari." What we conclude is, that something fishy is happening. Could the garage owner be the Ferrari driver? We'll make sure to find out asap! Stay tuned!"
And that's it. They're onto something now, but I ain't saying anything else to them. Also, they changed their design a bit.
Also here's me Civic as it sits now. It's sitting on steelies, and I washed it, only to reveal scratches and a little rust. It's obvious the car was a street racer on it's previous life:

  • And I may quit the tuning garage scene right after I sort out some things:
  • Beat Bugatti brothers
  • Sort out things with Dice Ridez
  • Finish some cars that came in for tuning
  • Sort out things with a new challenger that appeared. This one is last because it's the one that will take me to Western Valo
  • After W.V, I'll probably head North. Then I'll head back South, return to you guys :).

Here are the cars that are on the garage right now:

    Shelby Cobra Concept: 90%
  • Engine needs to be mended, that's all.

  • Grotti Carbonizzare: 90%
  • He asked for twin turbos

  • Subaru Legacy: 50%
  • Engine needs fixing
  • Install tarmac tires
  • Adjust suspension

@Facepalm I really like your idea of a magazine. Reminds me of a magazine in Sweden called Bilsport I used to read all the time!

With that said I went to my first real driftday with my car this weekend. I got some farely good footage from some of the photographers so
    less talking more pictures!

I went there with no front bumper and some driftspares(rims) as I didnt want to bang up the Equip's right away.

Cant wait to go drift again. Other than the rear bumper falling off at one point I had no issues. Although I need to either cut or roll the front fenders otherwise they will cut my tires and that would suck...

The car took it like a boss so I should be able to go to another one without having to go over the car.

Next on the to-do list is to (finally get an exhaust). If I remember right dxg might be able to help me??

@Somkiegun congrats on landing the cover! @Facepalm I am loving the magazine it is an excellent read

The coilovers came in today. These are one-off H&R ultra lows with custom spring rates, and custom top mounts with camber kit built in. they are set to their maximum low so I can tuck and (almost) ride rim (specs on request)

Also, you may have noticed that I removed my stock wing. this was only to make way for the bcl I ordered. and don't worry, the whole car will get a respray soon :)

@Driftphantom if you want, I can hook you up with a set of Aftermarket Brakes. Brembo 4 piston all around made to fit Evos 7/8/9. Let me know if you're interested.

    (one week later)

So, 2 things have happened. I canceled going to the event at the TG test track because we lost 2 PTG members... Thankfully they reimbursed my $2100. (500 per person, 100 per extra car).

The other thing that happened, was my bodykit arrived! Its a mint Runabout kit, just for the Pinto! It's pre-primered. It's mint because its actually a replica of the real thing :)) I may have something about the KAmaro... Some guy who simply goes by Jay L. offered me $210,000 CASH for the Kamaro. He claims to be an avid car collector, and, dayum, he has one hell of a chin. I ran the idea past Fred, and he said if Mr. L. goes through with the deal, I can keep the money, and put it towards what I want. Mostly the Minto. But I would also buy a Miata. I'm actually looking at a dark green one sold my a gentleman who goes by a strange alias... "Arctic Fox"... Who knows, might be worth it. Its beat to hell, but I think I could bring it back. I think he said he wanted $1500 for it...

(I know the color changed completely. My SLRR TOTALLY crashed on me and have to remake ALL my cars.)

    REAL working hoodpins...

and, barely visable, shitty drum brakes on the rear...

I was just looking at how my oem breaks ruin the setup I will definitely be interested. How much you want for them?

@dxg that pinto looks pretty dope with that kit on it (p.s: I like that color better than the previous)

    Update on Le' Silvia.

Got some kick ass Blitz rims off some russian guy on OLX, think his name was Danil or something like that. Anyways, I also ordered myself and fitted a proper Fart Cannon™, really opens up the car. Some other bigger things are the new lowering kit I put on it, so now it's kiiiinndaaa maaabbbyyyy stanced.

And ofcourse, a 2JZ Swap! :awesome: Got rid of one of my old builds but kept the engine so I though I might aswell slam it into the S14 :D

Now I wonder... should I put a roof rack on 'er and be like everybody else, or do something different?
