So parts arrived sunday morning, spent the whole day putting them on and prepping the car for paint.

Car sent to paint late at night and it just arrived. Now I need to figure out what will I do with the interior. Anyone know if I can get aftermarket seats and stuff and where (link plz?)

Also one of my friends is leaving Valo and going back to the carribean so I managed to snag both of his cars real cheap.

Both are pretty much stock, I might flip the Lexus and keep the Porsche. Or I might fix up the Lexus and hand it off to my wife to use as a DD since shes complaining about the Audi guzzling all the Gas and stuff.

Nice car, zerito! I really like the Honda. What will you do with the Porsche? Also, if you don't want the Lexus, I can take it off your hands.

Added 1 hour 17 minutes later:

Charger came back from paint shop. It looks amazing with this colour.

Yes, that's a Daytona, yes it still has no engine.
I went to run VINs and shit, and this is a legit X12 Carbon. I even got a spare bonnet, bumper, taillights, a headlight and a windshield. Although they were a little pricey...

supercar booty

I also got a used racing cylinder. Owner had no idea what its value was, threw in a low price and I got away with it.

Got a call from Greg; The paint is done. It is a bit darker than the original blue but it's alright. Greg said that it is very hard to get that color right but it is as smooth as a baby's ass. I also heard about a guy selling some 18" Volk GT-P wheels. Going to check them out. I know it looks like purple but it is blue. (At least it looks blue on my main monitor)

@Driftphantom: Wise choice, bro. That Honda was about to break in half just by looking at it. Love that IROC-Z. I really like the mid-80s Camaros
@Facepalm: Nice Skyline! (I love the R32; One of my favourite cars IRL) The Charger would be great with a 440 or even a LS3. I can give you a hand again if you're interested.
@Haku: Are you still interested in the Neon? 2 grand and its yours! The car is mint :D
@dxg: You really should XD

Nah thanks bro, for now it's just for display. I don't have any money. However, I'm in need of a FWD car. Actually, I always wanted a Subaru BRZ, and I really hope I get one, but for now, I want a FWD. Anyone seen any FWD cars for sale? Any condition is acceptable.

Since the whole Honda DD project kinda got out of hand I might keep the Lexus and DD it. Its a 4 cylinder turbo so I might swap in one of those 2JZ you kids like to swap into anything if I can find a nice cheap STOCK one.

The Porsche needs an engine rebuild really bad, the engine is the stick i4 turbo and has over 200k miles and has lost a lot of power. If I cant rebuild it I might stick a more modern i4T into it or maybe a Boxer engine if I can find a way to make it fit. Then Auto X it or something since I like these Porsche's a lot and I really want to keep it.

I dunno m8. I've got 2500$, but getting the Neon would corrupt me to 500$. I've got many projects going on: Find an engine for the Daytona, find the missing parts for the X12 and finish its engine...
I'll think about the Neon. If I don't find anything for under 900$, I'll contact you.

It's been a while since i last posted here but i got some new stuff.

I sold the Supra for a reasonable price, the guy that bought it from me restores crashed and older cars. after i told him the story about what happened he was dying to buy my monster, we loaded it up and of it went. to be honest i'll really miss that car it was a monster that i loved.

after thinking what i should buy i found this Miata U9 1.6 with 70k miles on it, i called the owner and arranged a meeting at my place.
when he showed up i noticed right away that the engine was in bad shape, it had this weird rattling sound which could've meant 2 things, the valves or the timing front the camshafts are off. the body itself is pretty good, new soft top and a new front bumper which i hate badly. the suspension is stock and the engine had a powerfilter. i bought it of him for 1500 bucks, i'd say a good deal!

Luckily since the MX-5 is the most sold convertible parts are fairly cheap and easy to find, so i found an early model bumper and a spoiler which were fitted right away, after checking the engine for that rattling sound i was kinda shocked. after removing the headcover and taking of the camshafts they were badly damaged, the valves were burned from the timing and after digging further even the pistons were damaged! my "cheap" buy wasn't that cheap. i need an engine and fast!

after checking Joe'slist (lol craigslist) i found a half built 1.8i engine which i bought for 400 bucks, it came with a Blackseries crankshaft, blackseries connecting rods, BS pistons, reinforced head with racing valves, high RPM BS intake/exhaust camshafts, ITB's and i've probably forgot something. the engine was half built which is weird but the guy had little knowledge of engines and way to much money and time on his hands.

Added 11 minutes later:

engine build time! Bumper, hood, lights and front fenders were removed before i started on the engine, after removing the old engine i kept the exhaust line and exhaust header since they were in pretty good shape. bolt after bolt, screw after screw and cursing a lot the engine came along pretty good but i forgot to buy something.. a gasket! how could i be so dumb.. i quickly hopped in the AE86 and raced towards the local parts shop and guess what? cops don't like my AE86 :D it was to loud and i went to fast and bla bla bla bla, basterd fined me for 260 bucks. bought a gasket and cruised back. i went on with building untill late in the night. it's in the car now but it needs some fine tuning, the ECU needs to be programmed it's set to hit the rev limiter at 7500RPM but the engine can take more but i think i'll keep it on a safe limit untill the engine has some milage on it.

that sunday i went to the local track to test it. i made some small drifts but the stock suspension is just so wrong for the engine, it wobbles after exiting a corner and it has a huge roll. but i'll get to that soon :)

Last week, a dumbass ran into my car. Long story short- All of my mounts for the front are damaged as well as my bumper, intercooler, headlights and hood. My left wheel also got a nasty scratch that'll stand out unless I repaint the wheels. My insurance company won't compensate me until the next 3 months so I'll just take the cash out of my own pocket to get the car repaired and running within 1-2 weeks max. Don't worry, the repair process has already started. Expect big changes :D

She's a bit banged up,but it's nothing that can't be fixed.

great work on the Miata, good find with all the DS go fast bits.

I ripped the rear end off of a Haulers 750 extra and slapped it on my dragster

That included the rear arms and shocks, but I went with H&R street spec springs for the height I wanted and the stiffness

# 2jzCookie : Hey people! I havent posted in a few days and there is a reason for it. I had trouble with the wiring in the e36 but I finally figured it out along with completing the engine. It needs a tune really bad tho. It runs like shit xD It jumps from 600 rpm to 1500 rpm when it stands still so I went ahead and cleaned the throttlebody. Didn't see a significant change but I think a good tune will help with that problem. More is coming about the engine later in the post.

# Snowfox : i went on with building untill late in the night. it's in the car now but it needs some fine tuning, the ECU needs to be programmed it's set to hit the rev limiter at 7500RPM but the engine can take more but i think i'll keep it on a safe limit untill the engine has some milage on it.

I want you guys to drop by sometime. I'll tune up the engines for ya. We just got a dyno, one of the ones with front AND rear rollers, and this awesome tuning computer. I'll only charge a hundred per car for yall!

Yo, just moved to Valo from SoCal. I didn't come here on a car, and I had to sell my old DD for the money to get here and buy my own shop. I found some old SR5 Corolla at the used car place, has a Levin front end. Should I bite the bullet?

I am freaking out right now... In an AMAZING WAY. So, Earlier today, Fred asked me to follow him. I stopped working on a customers EK9 Civic, and followed him. He headed straight for the new building... I walked past my cars, the Impreza, the Levin, the T-Type... I thought about how far I came, from just working on Diablos Golf (Things still awesome and fresh on my mind), and when I saved the Levin, and made it into my little Frankenstein. Well, we got to the new building, and Fred handed me a controller, like for a garage door. I said "What is this for?" and he said, "Just press the button kid!" And I did. The garage door on the building opened and I was greeted by this...

In the middle of the garage was a 2004 Subaru Impreza WRX STi... It looked just like the one I've been dreaming of, yakking on and on about. The wheels, the body, everything. I turned to Fred and I saw everyone from the shop standing behind him, the interns, the other mechanics, everyone. I asked him, "Who's car is that?" Even though I had a pretty good idea. He tossed a matching key to me, that amazing purple, and said "Your's. I've watched you become one of the best mechanics on this side of the entire city, and I decided to share the business with you! You have your own shop to work on cars, and you name is going onto the sign at the entrance! Congrats Darren!" And then everyone started cheering. My knees felt weak, and I could tell I was blushing like a petty schoolgirl.... I feebly mumbled "Thanks" and lumbered over to the Impreza... It had literally everything I wanted on it, minus the stereo. I took a few pics... It had the exact brakes, engine, colors, stickers, and bike rack, so I could get my BMX to the park and back. I just about passed out as I pressed the unlock button on the key fob, and the car went "Beep Beep" I opened the door, and sat in the drivers seat. It felt brand new... I popped the hood, and started it up. It blasted to life with a BRUMBLELELE, and sat there, purring. It sounded like my own work, and when I checked the actual pipe, it had my signature on it. How had he gotten me to do it? Then I remembered, about 3 months ago he wanted me to make a 3.25 inch blast pipe for an '04 Impreza for a "Very Special Customer." I started laughing like a maniac when I remembered that. I walked over to the hood and lifted it up with everyone watching me. I saw the same shade of purple that's on the brakes all over the engine. It was perfect! I looked around the shop, and saw a welding machine, the lift, a brand new Snap-On toolbox, still with the protective plastic on it, and lost it. All this for me? Why me? I asked Fred and he said, "As I said, you've become one of the best mechanics this side of Valo! You have earned my company enough money that I could get 3 more of those Jags you were eyeballing!" And there was a collective laugh from everyone. "But, yes, Darren, this is all yours. It seems like a bit much, but it wasn't actually too much. I know this guy named Greg, and he gave me a really good deal on the paint for the car!" Here are some more pics of my shop. Still gonna have to get used to saying MY not THE shop lol

The Impreza just passed safety and emissions test (had to get a catalystic convertier into the steel pipe) and is now street legal.
Here are the Volk GT-Ps:

This is how it looks; I won't do major changes now.

@dxg: Congratulations! Let's celebrate! I'll get Greg (he's always in when it comes to killing beer XD ), grab some beer and head over to *your* shop.
I'll hold back the Neon for Facepalm if he wants to buy it; Maybe I'll turn it into a show-car...

Okay, so I bit the bullet anyway and picked it up. It managed to drive itself back to my garage, I'll give it that. However, some things have come up.

1. I pull it into the shop, then I realized: I'd never looked at the back of the car. And then;

That's right, a blast pipe on a 70hp AT Corolla.

2. I decide to shrug it off, and pop the hood. I'm treated to this:

Yup, it's still got the 4AC. If anyone wants it, you can have it for free. If no one takes it, I'll probably give it some ethanol and slam it until it sends a piston to the ISS.

3. The SO is pissed. AKA I need a daily driver now, ASAP, etc. Either good mileage or four doors. Knowing the people on this place, you all probably have something for sale.

Ok then! I'll tow the X12, just in case you have any V10 parts lying around.

Excellent news guys! I just found out there's a race at Daytona International speedway. It's like a track day, but instead, it's a race. Now, where can I find a racing 440 engine to put in my Charger Daytona?

Yes? Are there V10 parts there, and a racing engine? The event's the day after tomorrow.

Day ater tomorrow? Oh, ok... You can try to find a LS3 and tune it but DVAP has no V10 parts and its a few days trip to get there and back.
Oh, another new page :awesome:

Went to a nearby park to have a photoshoot with my good ol' RX-7, really fun to use.
