What settings I play on does not really make any difference. In this video I even have the shadows turned off and it's still annoying and unpleasant to play. Btw the video looks a lot smoother because of the render, just look at the fps meter.
*LINK* this is lemwm, a clean stage 1 game lags even worse... |

your view distance, shadows, amount of traffic etc will slow it down
 reduce those and try again.

Nice engine sounds... you have to reduce the view distance, the shadow distance and the amount of traffic as Jesus Christ said. Good Luck!

Another thing that will help, is turn the Particle Density all the way down, I find that always works for me.

Try to set lower resolution,or just reinstal your OS and start again..

Your mem is about 25% but the SL mem capacity is 1024
The only way is - Good CPU + SSD If you drive fast in Valo the game can't rapidly load the files from hard drive and render em If you have good CPU use more view distance , so it will load/render the pop up mods in the scene early not in the last moment. also try the Cleen Valo City mod by NITROLANCER |

I watched the video , the fps drops on half (to 20fps) when u burnout. With reduced smoke and view distance 600-1000 it will run better, but thats it, it's a Valo xD

# DHR : The smoke makes absolutely no difference no matter what setting. Reduced view distance/object detail makes a difference but it's a joke I can't run an 11 year old game on a pc built to handle heavy games... It's not your computer, its the game. The game is poorly optimized, so even if your computer is a nuclear reactor, it can still run poorly. |

slr is only able to use 1GB of ram.. you can have 1000gb and it will still only use 1gb
there's a work around but it's not released and lets just say that it's a bit "random"

removing limit is not that easy
well it is.. but actually making game work and be stable with it removed is a different story.

it seems to work fine for me
 hardly if I ever do I get crashes.. then again I only use quality mods
