Restarting my RCB because I can.

Sup everyone, my name is Marlon and I recently purchased my first project car. It isn't exactly anything special but it's pretty nice for the price that I paid. I picked up a 2003 Nissan 350Z. It's got the factory 6 speed box that works like a charm. Oil,tyres and plugs have recently been changed and the interior is immaculate aside from some scratches here and there from the previous two owners. I ran a diagnostic at a friend's garage and it showed that the O2 sensor and the Throttle Position Sensor are pretty bad and need changing but I think that's about it. Nothing else is bad- the H&R lowering springs work well on the stock struts and Superpro bushings. The car has recently been detailed but there are still some dings and scratches but it's nothing to worry about. I'll carry it to get an underwash tomorrow and I think that's it for the rest of the month because I'm broke and I gotta stretch the remainder of my paycheck. Here are some pictures-

Welcome & Nice Z.

Here is a long update since I've been behind on posting.

Part one;

240SX gets to see it's first track day with the LSA in it, it is a crazy car to say the least and a completely different experience now.

Part two;

I got hard to work on the 240Z, I got all the parts I needed, complete suspension overhaul, an RB25DE installed, primed for paint, and then...

I got tired of it. I didn't want it. This wasn't the Z I used to have and it wasn't going to be that car. I decided to cut ties with it and sell it with all the parts ready to go, I even made a bit of profit at the end of the day. Then I bought something I've always really wanted.

Part three;

I've owned and sold many cars since I built my first car here in Valo, my old Impreza back on one of the first few pages. I can't really keep track of all the cars I've owned, I've just recently sold a bunch of cars because I'm at a point where I'm wasting money keeping cars around that don't get to be enjoyed like they should. I've started full time daily driving my S4, I sold my MK2, I sold the ER34 a little while ago because I had a person interested and I didn't drive it, I sold the Z, and I've sold so many other cars in the past it's ridiculous to think of how many I've owned. I buy cheap, pour in money, make a profit, repeat. But this car is different. I bought it two weeks ago and I immediately got to work on the vision I had for it because it's different than my average car.

This is a 1970 Porsche 911 in very good condition for it's age. I picked up this car for $29,000. I don't usually say what I've bought my cars for but I don't think I'll be selling this one. This particular car is a 2.7 liter flat 6 with a 5 speed transmission, and let me just say that this is an amazing sounding car. Hearing this engine behind you is an experience.

I stripped it on the second day of owning it as the first was all about driving it.

I didn't take pictures over the last two weeks but I'll show you where it's at now with a run down of modifications so far. I didn't want to clutter up the post with unnecessary pictures.

I purchased a replica RS rear whale tail trunk, all around wide body kit which includes over fenders, front RS style front bumper that's extended to fit flush, rear 964 style bumper with a shaved extension where the rear light bit used to go. The car is now sporting Bride Zeta III seats and a complete fabricated rollcage. The running gear came next and I settled with H&R coilovers all around, 300mm Brembo disk (6 Piston front, 4 Piston rear) brakes for great stopping power, and Work VSXX wheels, 19x9 in the front and 19x10 in the rear. The wheels are wrapped in pirelli semi slicks for track application currently.

Next up will be a new steering wheel, paint, and then engine work. Staying air cooled, either going to completely swap the engine for a 930 3.0 turbo or 3.3 turbo engine, or I will build the bottom end of this and get as much as I can from it. Stay tuned.

(Have to restart my RP because my savegame got corrupted and won't load anymore)

Hi! I'm Jonathan but you can call me John. Most folks do that. I am originally from Colorado where my dad has a big-ass farm. I recently moved to Valo and got my new driver's license and new plates for my car. I was actually amazed that this old car would pass the emissions test!

This is it: A 1994 Corrado VR6. It's my first car and I take good care of it. It has a few rust spots here and there but it runs and sounds amazing. My plans for it? I will turbocharge that 2.9l bad boy. Already has almost 200hp but there is always room for more :D
But it's not my actual project. Where I came from I am known for doing crazy builds.

This engineless Golf Mk3 will be a drift missle. That's right, it'll have a RWD swap. I think I'll go for a 4A-GE since it isn't that expensive and easy to aquire.

(I use Coprone's ENB V2 right now so if it looks shitty, let me know)

True but still better than a muscle car. Sure you don't NEED that much power (besides most of the small cars in the DL section aren't my taste)

# FamousMan : A little update for you guys.
I got my Silvia back from being painted at RotaryProblems' buddys shop. I would highly recommend going there for some paint. They took care of my ol' girl real nice and made her look damn fine! Also, I got my Rocket Bunny parts that I never told you guys I ordered, along with a nice pair of SW Gora rims. You'll also notice the new rear quarter panels thanks to Haku!

Here's a booty pic for you guys as well, yes I don't have an exhaust on, and yes it is loud.

Also got a new steering wheel I'm pretty pumped about
Race car interior

Probably good to leave freshly painted parts on the ground right?

And another shot of the engine because It makes me happy to look at

Next step is to try and get it registered and legal for the roads of Valo City!

Only needs a Rocket Bunny front bumper.

Hello Guys My name is Nick and i decided to show you my 'Mazda Mx 5 Project' which was a big Success (at least for me)

So How everything Started:

I brought the car from a scrapyard for around 400 euro which was almost 'dead' in every aspect exept its chassis which was still half alive

Well i got at my Friends garage who is a very good mechanic

We ordered a full suspension kit brake kit and new rims

and started 'reviving' it by re-painting it because we didn't had yet parts to install

So far the car looked more fresh and new than before

2 Days later the things that we ordered arrived and we started installing them right away

after 6 hours of work all of the parts were installed successfully

We continued to repainting the car and then continuing to complete the car

Repaint was done after 3 days and it looked like this

(P.S hope you guys dont get disturbed by the garage since its bugged for some reason and i cant fix it >.> and hope my grammar doesnt kill it)

Mazda Mx-5 Project Update

a Week later i founded at a Used parts store some parts that were missing which was the front quarterpanel the headlight rear bumper and the front grill

the parts got painted and looked like this

Anyways the car looked nice but we had to think about the engine and well whats better than an 1.6 liter i4
You Guess'd it :D an 1.3 liter.....rotary engine why you ask? cause 217hp without turbo/supercharger thats why

Day after day we FINALLY putted the engine in place and it looked beautiful

forgot to mention that we brought a supercharger too and changed the headlights since the ones that it had reduced some space for the engine and we painted the rims to black color

We tested the car and it was great the engine produced 380hp thanks to the supercharger and flat could go 230 km/h (which is around 130/140 mph i guess)

I think you meant "...without turbo but instead got supercharged....", just wanted to point it out for you to know that.

Don´t forget to paint the rims too, I would suggest to either paint the rims in black or use 16-18 inch steelies with low/high profile tyres (depending on what size the rims are in etc high profile tyres with 16 inch or 18 inch with low profile tyres). I think it would match very well with the color scheme you choosed for paint.

Also, what garage (garage mod) are you using there?

S15 project is finished , I'd race it for a few nights , then I'll modify a Mustang and race with it. I've just picked up '93 LX.. And another one Mustang is coming. Red 2008 one , still deciding between GT or GT/CS , 315 hp is enough. Wanted to go crazy and get a Terlingua , or a Saleen , but for a DD none of them are needed. Also pics for the S14 drift car will wait , I'm modifying the engine (another Stage 4 but with a lot smaller turbo).

Hey guys long time no see! I took alittle break from posting here due to college etc. so let me update o the car situation. first, I abandoned the STI I project and sold it off, I couldn't bear chopping up a perfectly good scoob. Second, I traded the skyline to Unique Imports over in East Valo. They gave me cash on top because of how rare the V-spec is, especially in white like mine was. If anyone wants a white V-spec on LMGT4s and tomei exhaust, call them up. I don't think it will be on the lot for long. Finally, the new car. I decided to get out and get something out of my JDM comfort only for a brief moment. SO I was able to pick up this with my trade, a 2005 BMW M3

Just look at all that German excellence! this is currently my daily, so naturally it wont be stock for long. I actually just contacted Broadway Static, and they have some custom coils with 10k springs all around being shipped over. I am also looking for a new project, anyone got some cars out there or know of any?

So, this sucks. The Supra is totaled. Was drifting at an event and a tire blew out, and she flipped over a couple times. Ruined the entire car. Only thing that still vaguely works is the engine, which is really good, because it would suck to lose a 400+ hp engine that was given to me for free. I'm looking for SOMETHING to drift in. I only have the Levin Coupe, and the S-Class right now. I actually have someone interested in the Corolla, and one of the 4A-GE's, along with the 2jz-ge in the car now. If I sell it, its gonna be for 6 grand with the engines, but I get to keep the Watanabes. No pics of the Supra, because I already sold it to the junkyard. It was a total write off. Gotta stop typing because the guy who wants the Corolla is calling. I'll type more in a bit.

I managed to get a 4A-GZE for my missile; Funny story behind it: I checked out an auto wrecker and went to the area where they have engines. There were all kinds of engines including a 4A-GZE. You know, the compressor 4A-GE. It was complete minus a transmission. Talked to the guy there and he said that this engine came out of a supercharged 80s MR2. Noone really wanted it and so it sat there. He really wanted it gone and so he sold it for just 800$. Got the rest of the powertrain as well. Now I have to fit everything into that Golf. Engine and tranny is in now but I still have to mod the rear axle. Big advantage on the GZE is that it has the right internals for a turbo swap.

So i was driving past the old Dacia factory here in Romania and i asked the guard at the gate if i could take a peak of what was inside....
Guess what i found ? An old Renault 12 chassis. I asked the guy at the gate if i can buy it... He took his phone out and called someone, then he told me i can have it for 200$ so i gave him 200$ for the chassis and another 100$ for letting me look inside the old factory.
5 days later after calling and searching for an engine i finaly found one... Now i am going to put it in the car and then i am going to look for some suspension parts at the local scrapyard or on the web for second-hand parts.

I've put the engine in and bought the interior, exterior and running gear from one of my neighbors that had the same model that i had.
Three days later the car got a new sexy look. Royal Red paint that was applied by me and a friend of mine... The car looks great and we decided to take it for a spin at a drag track. Pics coming soon

I was going to order my GT/CS , when the salesman told me he was a semi-pro drifter in need for a driftcar , because his former one got a major chassis damage. So , even if bumper-less and not totally converted to track (but with a Stage 4 RB26/30 and an OEM single turbo) , he paid me 35k $ cash on the nail. Sorry for no pics , but money is money! With the money from the S14 , the GT/CS costed me only 15k $ or so. Sold the S15 , I'm going to modify the LX and daily the GT/CS (wich should arrive tomorrow , so stay tuned! Also I've got some factory dealer-installed options).

So I told myself four cars would be the limit. I wish I could say that was enough, but it isn't. I really wanted an NA Miata, so I went out and hunted for one. Five cars is the limit for me now, no more! The maintenance that I need to do on my cars, while not costly, is time consuming.

So I went out hunting for a suitable NA Miata I could buy, and I came across this black example for $600.

Has a full drivetrain, healthy NA8C (80,000 km on the motor, 120,000 on the chassis). A little banged up, but..

Was rear ended quite hard, and the frame is smashed beyond repair. However, the entire front half of the car is intact, and the only really damaged parts of the drivetrain are the driveline and diff. I found a Mariner Blue chassis, straight as an arrow, that I'm going to swap all the good parts off this Miata onto. Then this one is going to be sold to the wrecker, and I can get building on the Mariner Blue car.

Ripped off the good stuff, motor came out after this pic, and I made a solid $200 out of the chassis. Thinking of maybe selling the S14 project to fund this car, but I have great plans for that car and I don't want to let it go..
