I wont have much time to catch up. There is test and tune and Irwindale, it is not too far from the shop. It is an eighth mile track, I'll be driving the notch down there. You could do some testing

# DFRacing98 : Stock LS3? That sucks man. I'll give you the hit and three cars.
Also, the heads were new, but the block looks pretty done. I have a little while left on it. But not too long
Anyway, you still up? You have three cars and the hit, we race eighth mile
Isn't suck so much , The stock ls3 make about 460hp i think , and the foxbody is light , and mine's doesn't look so racecar , so , SLEEPER FOXBODY

I could meet you there early when the track opens, we could get good pit spots near the lanes, and make a ton of passes. It's up to you, the T&T is tomorrow.

The problem isn't the pistons , crank , heads , The block is the problem , None 5.0 Windsor make more than 500-550hp without breaking the block , Maybe your block isn't a 5.0 Windsor , maybe is an older 5.0 or some thing like that)

Stroking it is worse because the engine is receiving more stress because of the bigger displacement.
A windsor never make more than 550hp without spliting the engine , a 4.6 maybe , Maybe you hae the 4.6 modular Lincoln Marauder engine or the 5.0 triton , idk

# DFRacing98 : Sleeper as hell, it looks like a piece of shit (in a good way xD)
Hahahaha
Later i will put a blower or a Twin turbo setup ...
For now ALL MOTOR , Because the foxbody is light af , and with 460hp (i think , i will check it) , is enough for racing with some guys with the farmtruck style hahaha

Oh boi , Change the engine ASAP , The engine will be break maybe today , morning , idk , maybe with a simple revving
A good 4.6 DOHC or 5.0 Coyote will be great

Check if the engine got some cracks , if the engine got some cracks , Take it out now , dont start it up if u don't want to damage the internals , the turbos , the intake and all the parts ...
If ur car got more oil consumption than expected , the block is cracked , Change it asap

Okay ! , It would be nice , Maybe the born to race scene happen xddd
460HP LS3 Street legal Foxbody vs "600hp" Twin turbo Windsor 5.0 Foxbody
It would be so fucking good
Hey , maybe an LS2 , LS3 or an LS6 would be great for your car

I've taken the engine apart, there were no cracks. I haven't even started it since I took it apart.

Added 1 minute later:

Maybe a nice ls would work
I'll see you at the T&T tomorrow. When I get home I'm gonna start the fox up, it should be fine. Might do a burnout in front of my house, or rev it up a little.

Added 54 seconds later:

Also, one more thing, the block will last me a little bit longer, because the owner barely ran it. He put new heads, made a few passes, and let it sit. That is, until he sold it to me.

Added 32 seconds later:

I should be okay for another 15-20 passes.

Be careful , your engine will be breaking soon , the 302 windsor in the 500-550 is very fragile , and in the 600's , the engine will split soon , Take it to the workshop and lower the boost for tne drag race , for avoiding breaking the block in high speed , and later , change it.
In the 480, 500 range will be good , Maaybe 520 , but if you want to run the car without spliting at more than 150 mph , lower the boost and the power for safety.
With the 600hp , in less than 200 meters your block will split.
In the 480-500 range , the engine will be safe in the drag strip.

But the block is the problem , not the heads , And if the owner barely run it , the engine will last , a bit more , because the 5.0 windsor block doesn't support more than 550hp , and it yours support 600 , is because the engine is almost new and isn't raced , If u race with the 600hp , in 200 meters or little more , your block will be spliting , at high speed , and you will be crashing ur mustang. I recommend you to lower the boost in the 480-500 range , with that the engine will last much more , but you will be changing the engine soon because isn't safe to run with a car with the risk of spliting block at high speed , you know

Added 1 minute later:

for this race i recommend you to LOWER THE BOOST
Lower the power until the 480-500hp range , the engine will last much , and in the race the engine will last without spliting the engine

Added 3 minutes later:

look this , imagine this occurring at more than 120mph , this turbo 5.0 notch got 601hp , so very the same with ur car , maybe in the start your engine will be spliting like in this car

Isnt only for the heads , is for the turbos too , Try to lower the boost until the 480 range , and you won't need to take out the heads , if that didn't happen , change the heads

Here are the words of the ad

Yeah I read it, it is turbo ready, which means good internals. LS9 cam, and LS7 lifters. That motor is built as hell.

Added 1 minute later:

Magnaflow
We might have a good race coming.
I'll talk to the stage guy when we get up to the lanes, see if he will let us race.

Added 1 minute later:

btw, I did a nice pass at the street race road over by my house, and the car seemed fine. It launched hard as shit, and made a good pass.
Cannot wait until we race on the street

Added 4 minutes later:

Also, I need your opinion. Looking around, I found a blazer. Salvage title, it was rolled and the frame was slightly bent. It has some nice mud treads on it, but the bed cover is super messed up, the paint is chipping, the interior is torn up, and it is rusting. However, the engine runs really strong. The guy wants a grand for it. I need a truck, should I pick it up?

Maybe no , because the bronco and the blazer are "trucks" known for rollover , and maybe the chassi is more bent than expected , maybe is a doctored up car , and if not , a blazer isn't the best choice...
Try an GMC Sierra/Chevy Silverado , They are better trucks in my opinion than a semi truck blazer...

btw i'm selling the 240 for buying a jdm car , a very desirable car , but N/A , and need a lot of work , and i need 20 grand for buying it sadly
Maybe i will sell my 350z or my FRS

That second one is nice, its a v8. The first one doesn't reverse, and I need that when towing a trailer with the black fox on it.
I'll try for 1,000 but I doubt I'll get lower that 1,500. Thanks for looking.

Hey Stance, I have to bring the notchback down. I lost a lot of my oil pressure about 20 minutes from my house, and when I got home, I took off the oil pan. I found metal shavings in the oil, and when I tried to crank the car it wouldn't start. I also found long cracks along the side of the block, and on the top of the block (when I removed the manifold). The one on top of the block is pretty deep. I'd say about a millimeter, bad news. You were right, I thought I could push it a little more, but I was dead wrong. I'm heading to a s197 part out tomorrow, the guy wants a grand for the engine. I'm running low on money, I didn't need this right now. Now I have no daily, I'm gonna sell off the heads while I'm at that part out, the guy is building a race car and the head will be perfect. I might be able to save the turbo setup, just gonna build new headers. Do you have any p.o.s cars that I can drive? I can't buy that truck anymore, I have to buy the new motor.

You know what I'm gonna do
I'm gonna have an uber or taxi drive me over to the guy with the truck, I'll buy the truck, and go pickup that engine after! I'm gonna sell the brodix heads there too, they are worth a lot of money.
