^Thanks to all of you <3 I'm glad that you like the new color!
My first proper drift event in Japan!
When Kato and I arrived the first thing we got to hear that we were way to late and that we missed the drivers meeting.. oh well ..shit happenens
Ward also joined us on the event to help with our cars and to take some awesome shots of the whole event while we were driving! He got a bit too drunk so he wasn't able to drive today.. Maybe tomorrow We set up our little tents, checked our cars for the last time and began to skid. It was my first japanese drift event ever and Mobara may not be the noob-friendliest track ever but - it was freaking fun!
Not only that but the atmosphere was just awesome. A lot of great cars, a lot of cool people to talk with that all have the same mindset and the booth gir... ehh yeah (^u^°). I loved it and I still am. Got to talk to a lot of the locals and even got some very important contacts to some garages and suppliers The car held up great so far.. except the diff.. It still is kind-off holding but it's beginning to make some crunchy noises.. I should probably ask around if someone has brought a spare one to the event. In the times I had to wait for my car to cool off I ran around the event to take some pictures myself. There were way too many cool cars there and I didn't have enough time to look and take pics of all of them.. Gonna make some more tomorrow! |

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
You remember that I wrote that the diff might blow on that same event? Well yeah.. It did.. but so did the freaking transmission.. k then..
If someone may has an SR20 transmission or something like a 350z/370z transmission to sell or knows where I can get one that would be great. Pretty much blew both the transmission and the diff at the same time while going way too hard into the big sweeper before the start/finish line, revving the living crap out of it and.. yea... Skidiki-pap-pap, and a pu-pu-pudrrrr-boom. So we called a tow company to get this POS back home and into my garage (120V$).. Now its just sitting there collecting dust.. While I'm waiting to get this one fixed I already thought about getting a second project.. I might've already found a car but I'm not sure yet.. May or may not come up soon ;) |

Gonna have to give you an Opposite Style care package. Has three new stickers. Still haven't slept properly since I almost binned my whole 180 at Mobara. Might hit you up if I need help doing something. |

Still not making sick dori-doris...
The (PO)S14 is still just sitting in my garage with a fully blown drivetrain.. oh boy.
But I guess it's alright if I do some detail work to it since I can't do anything else with it. First up - New taillights! OEM S14 Kouki taillights for about 220V$. A bit pricey since the demand for those lights is pretty high.. It's kind of understandable tho. They look a lot better than the original Zenki ones in my opinion. (old ones are up for sale btw) I also took the time to just rework the old Bride Brix 1 that came with the car. I figured I just fool around a bit and match the color of the seat to the color of the wrap. Replaced the seating are with a "Sakura pattern" just to be a bit more A E S T H E T I C and made the rest pink. The fabric costed me 30V$ (Even tho the color of the blossoms doesn't fit at all lol) Reworking the seat was really fun and I might do that more often in the future with different seats.. Kinda like Garage Trash Racing. Also got some more stickers on the car because why not? (Night Ride, Up Garage, O-Style, Video Option) (O-Style, Hardcore Japan, Frisky Feels, Advan, RELAX, TEC-ART'S) About that other car I wanted to get.. I'm looking at it tomorrow. If it's like it says in the ad I'm getting it.. Be prepared :3 This post was edited by Renaruto (2017-11-04 22:54, ago) |

That seat fits perfectly now! Kouki taillights look nice too, a Zenki with those is my favorite S14.
By the way, would you trade your rear bumper valances for a Top secret diffuser? I wanted to keep it on my S14 but the exhaust was too big. |

GOOD NEWS EVERYONE!
or maybe not.. :v
My second project car is finally home and.. well.. let's just say my S-chassis-mania hasn't stopped at all yet (^o^*)
Back at the event on Mobara there was a guy asking around if people want to buy his car since he wanted to finance a bigger project of his. I was curios abot what he was selling.. He showed me some pics on his phone and I fell in love instantly. He told me that he has his own shop in Yokohama and that we could meet up on sunday so I could look at the car in person. So I called up my colleague from work if he could take me down to Yokohama. He agreed and we made our way to this guys shop. When we arrived I already saw the front of the new ride. If you know me good, you know that I'm fully in love with this car (well.. almost as much as Miatas :p)... YUP! I'm back with another S13! When that guy told me the prices of his Hatch I just couldn't keep my hype down.. 4.500V$ for this beauty! From the outside its pretty much stock. The only thing that was added is that custom made front lip which just suits it perfectly. For the wheels he choosed some very good looking RS Watanabe F8s in 15 inch, wrapped up in some pretty used up Falken Ziex. And to get a good stance they topped it of with a used coilover set by Stance. There's a bad thing about this S13 tho.. Just like my S14 this is just another one of those "Ohh let's just throw some stuff together to get this thing sideways" sorta project cars so it looks way nicer than it actually is. You can already tell by the interior that this wasn't the most serious of projects.. It does have the stock SR20DE that came with some of the Chuki-era 180sx's but it was fitted with a turbo setup straight from a S15 Spec-R. And yet again another welded diff.. Let's see how long this one is gonna hold up.. Other than that there are just some reinforcement-mods done to the engine. A bigger intercooler and a radiator setup by Koyorad plus some new hoses. Oh and there's a big but decent looking muffler. I'm really freaking happy with the purchase and I'm happy to see what I can do with it in the future :3 I will probably keep it in that sorta "Dorisha"-looking way.. Be sure to follow me on this build hehe |

A lot of detail work!
Heyyyooo I'm back with some sweet tasty updates on my rides. Well.. atleast on the S13.. The S14 is still just sitting in the garage gathering dust. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
But the Hatch is getting more and more sexy. Like the title says I mostly did some work to make this thing look more oldschool and stuff. I added a shit ton of stickers, wrap, some bodyparts and even changed some of the interior fabric. Also bought some D-Max floor mats (100V$) cuz why not :3 I also decided to try my best at some custom bodywork. And by that I mean that I made the move and cut the chuki bumper like Koguchi had on his 180sx. I also thought that it would be a good idea to not only wrap the taillights (black wrap on the middle piece and "smoke" on the outer lights) but also to add a (used) D-Max roof wing (120V$) and also wrap the entire roof black. I just thought it would gave the car a bit more contrast since I actually removed the black trimming around the car as well as you might have noticed. I also bought some used chuki side skirts (120V$) to make it look like it fits a bit better with that black lip on front. Might have to get some rear valances pretty soon. So the rest of the changes consist of all the stickers and the bride fabric (90VS$) I added to the interior. |

Well sh*t (^-^#)
The S14 is finally coming back to life.. Someone traded his used SR20 gearbox and a R32 LSD for my whole Navan kit. Since I kinda wanted to move to a different style anyways I said yes. Was so happy that I could get this thing moving again. And as you can tell.. The Silvia is transforming quite a bit..

It is finally here... kind of
The S14 is almost through it's hotboi conversion. Visually it's almost fully done now. But I just can't wait to show you the state that it's in now. Ward and I worked really, really hard on this project and we even got D-Magic and PS Taka to help us with the livery. It was a really fun process and it made so much fun working with those guys! I learned a lot and I'm seeing forward to more projects.
But now more infos about what changed besides the livery Actually.. Not much to be honest lmao. I bought a full D-Max Type III bodykit consisting of front, rear and sidekirts, front and rear fenders and a roof wing just to finish it off. Also exchanged my VS6s with some Kosei K1s because they fit this style way more in my opinion. The project even got featured on a local tuning magazine! On the mechanical side.. nothing really changed sadly enough (besides the new gearbox and the GT-R LSD that I mentioned in a previous post). Before anyone calls me a ricer - I'm currently looking into getting some more preformance parts for this thing. Just wait. This post was edited by Renaruto (2018-02-04 18:25, ago) |
