It was a tough week for me, because i was fixing the Civic. I was still a little angry, because i wasn't even driving it when the crash happened. But it wasn't all that bad,
i got some compensation. I know the guy who hit it 2 weeks ago, so i told him that he should pay for the parts, it was his fault. He barely had enough money for it, so i had some mercy and i paid the shipping which was 150V$. I ordered the parts which were completely broken in the crash: A right headlight *LINK* , a front bumper *LINK* and a front panel. *LINK* The bumper and the panel were white, so i don't need to paint anything. :)

When i took off the old bumper i checked if there was any damage underneath, fortunately everything was alright. The foglights were also intact but i didn't put them on yet.

And now the Civic is like new again! But that's not all the news for now. Today i visited a friend of mine, and when i was going back home through Italy, i saw this:

It was so sad to see a classic just sitting there and not being driven. I had to take a closer look, because i thought i might return its former glory, i always liked Porsches.

I think it used to be black but now there's so much dust on it that it's more like brown. It's also missing some parts, but there's no major rust which is good.

The interior is in great condition, there's just lots of dust. I saw that this car wasn't used much.

While i was looking at it i saw the owner and asked him why he couldn't drive it for so long. He was an old man, he explained me that something in the engine broke and it was way too expensive to fix it, so the car's sitting here for more than 20 years, it's not even used so much. And then he asked me if i would take it! He wanted 1000V$, i wanted it for less, but the owner knew that this car is something you don't see everyday. He didn't want to lower the price but he had something more for me:

He wanted to keep the original wheels clean, so he took them off when the engine broke. With these wheels, 1000V$ was a fair price, so i bought it! Even if there will be lots of work with it, i just couldn't resist, my feelings took over.

For now i don't know where will i keep it, because there's not much space in our garage. I will replace the suspension, because it's a bit rusted and the brakes must be locked. And if there's a major problem with the engine like the owner said, i will have to get another one. So, if you have an idea for a mad engine swap, hit me up! :)
